Real Madrid Thread

diego lopez saved real's ass once again. also, love both of ozil and isco but I think real made mistake with buying isco first. ozil's style is a perfect fit between ronaldo and bale on the sides. know it's too early to judge but still, ozil was an ultimately proven playmaker.

You should of saw ozil playing for Arsenal with a stomach virus. :CONFUSE: Amazing it took him all but 10 min. to gel and pass the ball on stride. Theo was handed even a better ball by Ozil than Giroud, not once but twice!

Watching that makes me have fond memories of Bergkamp. Ozil could quite likely attain a similar status w the Arsenal of today.

Such a shame Utd didn't go for him, Rooney, RvP and Chicha at the end of those assists wouldve been beautiful.

yeah bebo I watched the game yesterday. his first ever game in epl and really, you just have to admire his composure. I think it's his best attribute above anything else. his performance was kind of overshadowed by atkinson the freak, though. didn't like that. :SHAKE:

A couple of great saves by Lopez but, hey, that 2nd Villareal goal was a bad mistake by him. That wasn't a strong shot and he could have deflected it to the side or for a corner, but he deflected the ball on the path of a Villareal player, and then in the follow up to that Giovanni's shot could have been saved by a better keeper.

Was not his fault, Casillas jinxed him...

Well nobody's perfect...nevertheless, great performance from him in that match

In the second goal Diego Lopez looked exactly like Pes goalkeeping with soft shots. And in the first half he looked like Fifa goalkeepers saving everything and having perfect IK to always reach the ball. Just saying...

I find it odd that despite being considerably taller than Casillas, Lopez still struggles under the high ball.

It's a common weakness of Spanish keepers, although I've seen De Gea improve considerably on this since he started playing in England.

I think it is very common for large number of keepers to be weak on high balls. Here in Croatia we have 5 top keepers (top Croat keepers, not looking for entire world) in Pletikosa, Subašić, Blažević, Kalinić, Kelava and all of them have great reflexes, Blažević and Kalinić are also really high keepers, with Pletikosa, Kelava and Subašić not much shorter, and they all have problems with those high balls, crosses etc. while they can really do miracles and save almost impossible shots.

Please stop it.
You are annoying the hell out of everybody in this thread.
You never use arguments in your one-dimensional posts.
And you are not funny.

This image is not funny, but is the reality...

In respect your opinion but i think that before my opinion i post many evidences.

You don't see it don't you.
In the end nobody cares if what you say is the truth.
With all possible respect to you, you are just spamming and making yourself a nuisance.
You are ruining this thread.

It is not even funny anymore. I'm sorry to point this out, but i feel somebody got at least try to make you see sense.

Paradas Romero (retired referee last year): "Díaz Vega (maximum charge of Referees Technical Committee of Spain and member of UEFA arbitration panel) disrespected me and scolded me not having expelled Mourinho"
consequence ---> decided to withdraw from the arbitration

Paradas Romero (about the referees boss): "I had a pretty big problem with it. Disrespected me in an unusual and not acceptable. I protested not to expel the Madrid coach had to have been more blunt, just to me, my successes and my mistakes, I've never shaken the pulse in my decisions. I understand it was a chase towards me"

"Tuve un problema bastante gordo con él. Me faltó al respeto de una forma fuera de lo normal y no se puede consentir. Me recriminó que no expulsara al entrenador del Madrid, que tenía que haber sido más contundente, precisamente a mí que, con mis aciertos y mis errores, nunca me ha temblado el pulso en mis decisiones. Entiendo que fue una persecución hacia mi persona"

Wow, just heard on the Guardian that Ronaldo's new deal means Madrid will have to pay him (gross, so he gets his post-tax wage) about 45M Euros PER SEASON.

That is absolutely mental - that's sure close to the wage bill of some clubs in la liga?

(don't get me wrong, he's brilliant obviously, but good lord!)

I found it funny to begin with but now it's stupid! Thank you Gerd for finally saying how it is!

This Real Madrid squad is looking better and better with every single match. The only problem is with injuries in back line...

btw. Isco is first Spanish player in RM to score 4 goals in opening 5 games of the season after Guti in 2000/01 season.

Isco looks so good in a Madrid top.
If things keep on going this well for him, he'll surely be a contender for some silver later on this season.

HORRIBLE MATCH FROM REAL MADRID TONIGHT...
FOR THIS REASON...
BENZEMÁ -- OUT.
RONALDO -- OUT.

DI MARIA -- ACCELERATED, FAILING THE PASS.
ISCO -- NO WORDS.
KHEDIRA -- ONLY FAIR.
ILLARRAMENDI -- BAD DEFENDING FAIR WITH PASS.
ARBELOA -- ONLY FAIR NOT TAKE RISK PASSING.
PEPE -- OUT OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL.
RAMOS -- WELL IN AERIAL BALLS HORRIBLE IN OUTSIDE LINE(GUILTY FOR ATLETICOS GOAL BREAKING OUTSIDE).
COENTRAO -- GOOD MEETING EXCEPT 2 OR 3 WRONG PASSES.
DIEGO LOPEZ -- LIFE GUARD.
MODRIC -- GOOD.

BALE -- FAIR BUT ACCELERATED.
MORATA -- FIGHTER.

PEPE -- OUT OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL.

Out of professional football?!? Pepe made at least 2 crucial last ditch tackles, one against Diego Costa and another against Miranda. If it wasn't for him Atletico could have won it 4-1?

RAMOS -- WELL IN AERIAL BALLS HORRIBLE IN OUTSIDE

"Well" in aerial balls?? The guy jumps with his elbow hitting the opponent's head 11 out of 10 times and you praise him?

Sorry Kaleso, I might not know you enough to say this, but judging your posts in here you're a f*cking joke mate!
