Real Madrid Thread

I think they will desperately buy Kaka, Cesc or Cristiano. They need only one of them IMO: Cesc. They have a good team and lack only 1 or 2 key players in midfield, as all of you suggest. It's so obvious.

Plus, IMO, they have one of the top 10 forwards in the world, very underrated by everyone (Higuain).
 
I can actually imagine a formation like this happening:

But then that team would have TONS of criativity and lots of egos. But it could actually work.
 
I think Cesc will go to Madrid. He moved from barcelona for some money when being youngster, so why not to Madrid for some real money?
 
:LOL: thats not fair IMO, He didn't move to Arsenal for money IMO, He moved there because he knew he would have a better chance of making it their. He would currently be a bench warmer (which he would have been for 5-6 seasons by know) and no one out of Spain or even in Spain would have known about him. Currently hes one of the best in his position in the world.
 
Don't think so. Barcelona is the top team who uses most players from the youngster team and he would have entered in rotation with Xavi and Iniesta easily. He did go out for money, really, even if he succeeded in becoming a good player. At its age, Iniesta had the same scenario and rested here, and now he's very well known.

Just like Pique, that leaved for money but found no chances in Man Utd and that made it easier for Barcelona to pick him again (and it's been one of the best signings so far).

Anyway, this is Madrid's thread, and I really think he will end up dressed in white. At least, here in Spain there are a lot of rumours about it, and it's true that MAdrid needs him a lot more than barcelona!
 
lol Drekkar, like younggun said he would have been a bench warmer for barcelona, the barcelona midfield consist of a Offensive mid like xavi , an agile cm like iniesta and a dmf toure/keita and cesc is a Offensive mid , If he stayed at barcelona he would had have the same role he has with spain wich is being sub on at the 75min 1 game per 2.

But IMO he wont move to madrid...

Apparently Ribery and Kaka' are done deals. Some sort of agreement between player and club. However, they won't be announced until the end of May.

I really hope you don't believe marca.com and the sorts... They said last year Ronaldo was going to play in Madrid FOR SURE almost 100 times.

I think Madrid will sign Kaka at the end, but Ribery... I don't think so, there are other teams involved and it won't be easy to sign him. Bayern knows every week will grant them more money.

I did not get that from Marca. I stopped reading that paper after last summer's fiasco of lies. They are claiming that both deals rest on the fact that club representatives and the players' themselves must deny that a deal as been agreed upon until June 1st.
 
Yeah, ribery's also at Barcelona for a few months now. I guess he'll play a month for one of the clubs then switch. Ribery's the first champion of Spain for 09/10.
 
Ribery might go to Real but I don't think theirs a deal in place thats just utter bull. Bayern always want big for their star players. I think 35M will probably be needed for him.
 
I wonder where they will find all the mnoey they say they will spend (more than 200 million €..). And I really wonder all spain end up paying it as it happened the last time with Florentino and his Mafia. They did that scandalous arrangement paid by the Madrid community (so, by the people).

The last time Florentino did these things leaved the club with more than 500 millions in debt. I wouldn't like my club to be managed like that, really, even if Kaka is a good player, but they need first to create solid base for a team, and invest some money, time and patience in your own boys from youth teams.
 
Any top player can fail at Real Madrid because how the club is. Kaka can't do his thing unless the back 4 and defensive midfielders play well.

By now you should know that real are damn filthy rich to begin with and to that point you can add the name that it has over banks, clubs and players mind.
In the end, who doesn't want to go to real madrid and be part of a generation like the Galacticos? Every single player wants to play with the best in the world, its stupid to think otherwise nowadays.
Clubs are failing to give their players their salaries real as money, power influence and now they want the fame that other clubs stole from them, thats it and now here comes the "myth" Florentino Perez praising that he will make the Galacticos 2, well the first one was a global success so every1 wants to believe that the second one will be the same.
 
It was because there was a player bigger than all galactico's back then.
