At the moment Sporting it's the Portuguese Champion, it's winning Belenenses at home by 2 - 0.
Porto still draw with Desp. Aves by 1 - 1 and Benfica is winning Académica by 1 - 0.

I really love this kind of moments. Porto has just won the league and what do their fans do? They're calling Benfica's fans "son of bitches".

These guys are really smart, aren't they?

Anyway, Porto deserved this title. They were the most consistent team this season and tough their second half of the season wasn't as good as the first one they were still the best team. Sporting did an awesome end of season though, 9 wins in 10 games.

This was the best season I've ever seen. Well done.

the three "grandes" won as expected
sporting won and was the best team. i didn't see the whole game but from what i saw sporting was clearly better. the penalty was clear but as for the red card i'm not sure... in benfica's game there was an equal situation and the red only showed a yellow card. but anyway, by the way the game was heading i think sporting would have won even withou costinha being sent off
liedson scored again with a fantastic header and brought justice to the game

porto crushed leiria and didn't even have to play that well. i don't think this leiria will eliminate leverkusen unless hey improve a lot. regarding porto, they're in great shape, won the 3 games against the teams which had won against porto last year and are ahead of the superliga. quaresma isn't playing well and adriano is injured but porto has managed to win the matches. the player that is impressing the most is meireles, his fitness and condition are impressive he runs the whole game as if it as only started.
in my opinion the ref had no influence in the game. porto's 2nd goal was illegal but bosingwa's wasn't so it made no difference

benfica, hasn't played well yet but in the 2nd half we already showed some good football. nacional didn't look strong as in past years but they have good player i think they'll improve. di maria and cardozo played well but for me the best players on the pitch were petit and rui costa. 1st win, i think things will start to run better on the championship, now the team is estable and will only improve but there's much work to be done

maritimo is surprising me but i doubt they'll be able to keep it up, although they have good players and an experienced manager

Mostly because of their Coach. Manuel Cajuda.
They have a few good players like Ghilas, Desmarets and a pretty even squad in terms of quality, and NO PRESSURE on them, cause they got promoted to the first division this year. I wouldn't be surprised they got the 2nd place.
These days i'm rooting for them, since there is no point in watching porto, cause we are winners already.

And Vitoria de Setubal with a budget so low that it would be embarrasing to 3rd division english teams is 4th place in the league. The coach, Carlos Carvalhal is on of my fav portuguese coachs and one day I hope he will be coach of Porto.
But not yet. :)

Trust me, I watched the entire game. There was no luck involved.
Just that the team managed to overcome the blunders of the referee.

EDIT: Sporting Goals last night.

4-1 win at home against Nacional da Madeira. :(
