Seems I have been permanently banned from WENB due to questioning Adam on exclusive content, ie as they had played the same build as PSM, what additional info could they give apart from opinion.

Anyway that is life and I wish them all the best

Oh my god how dare you question Adam, didn't you know that you have to agree with him on just about everything PES related because his word is supreme and no one can say the contrary or dare disagree!

Screw that site Dr Force Evo-web is where it's at. They probably bitter because they don't have much to add to the PSM3 news.

Btw how is it possible that people argue that there are sandbags when there clearly aren't? Do people even look and read before they bash?

I actuially think they put in alot of effort and have just become a tad sensitive.

Absolutely no sandbags as far as I can see

You're wrong. It's the contrary. Adam is reassuring everyone that the preview has missed a lot of info. He and Suff will reveal more on July 15th

I think their intention of showing PES 2010 at 50% completion was for other reasons. The 50% code they played isn't the stage PES 2010 is at now. That isn't possible tbh. We're in July and they have about 2 months to get it wrapped. My conclusion is that they had that code readied and polished a while ago to be presented to the media to showcase some of the new things they had in, obviously excluding the new set of animations etc.

From what I read in the PSM3 mag, it was pretty obvious they were informed that the code they had was in no way close to completion, 50%? And they were told many animations are yet to be added etc so why even bring it up and judge? I think that was slack tbh.

The old system, or whatever system they used for 2009 animations was crap imo. Major turn off for me.

I'm not pretending to be a victim, he just did not like my questions and ended up questioning my integrity.

And i'm sorry we have all heard Adam's and Suff's reassurances way too many times before and Konami have produced nothing but dross for the past 3 years.

No wonder people are guarded given the past performances.

I thought it would be the same animation system but with motion captured animations. Is this new system more like FIFAs new system with better blending/morphing with IK and all that?

Seems weird if they have a new system and it wasn't implemented yet, because such system even with the old animations would look mighty different. So my bet is same system, maybe a little bit better with blending the animations, but with motion captured animations. Because if I remember correctly PES still use the sliding of the player and cutting animation to get correct to the ball right?

I think a later build will show a far superior animation engine, It looks like they are more intent on showing lighting, graphics and charachter models for now.

I don't know, but I'm very, very excited about the slower game play, and about the sliders, and on/off cards.

Im still totally disappointed after reading the article.

I mean didnt they say that they have been working on the 2010 version for a while now? Didnt they say that they were soooo confident about their product this year and they cant wait to show it?

I cannot believe that was all marketing bla. Same stupid animations of PES 2009?? I thought they would totally overhaul the animation system. No mentioning about the fluidness of old PES games.

Looking at it now Fifa 10 will destroy PES 2010 and Im pretty sad about that because in the end I´d preferr a decent PES over a very good Fifa every time.

And WENB: How can they say its a great game if it plays like 2009 with a few tweaks?

Oh and I couldnt care less about FACES, thats so stupid.

Still, they say it is faster than FIFA 09 and that is a pretty fast game to me. But better than making it even faster I guess..

I guess Pes will have to skip a year to make a significant change. Better graphics its what FIFA used to do every year.

The official feedback sites is a good idea for Konami to "harvest" ideas, but will hardly see those ideas coming to life in a 3 month period. Everybody knows that...

Unless they hire a 100 new crew working for that and they perfectly fit those on the main code. So i wouldnt have much high hopes for this 2010.

They should have started with the feedback on the first day of this year.
I sure we will see some changes but dont expect the great overhaul... and i hate that word! :(
