Bingo, especially regarding the team and player individuality. It did feel like playing the same team over and over again with different shirts on in 09, hopefully it's not the same in 10.

However, IMO the major draw of the MM has to be the league structure and real player transfers, budgets, cups and finance of football though. It's less of an attempt at a fantasy football league with a mixture of teams from all over the world and more of an attempt at a simulation of what it would be like to be a manager today in an offical league. I'm not saying ML doesn't have some those aspects and doesn't have a lot of positives over the MM (e.g. the introduction of a youth team this year being one), just that the FIFA MM IMO does a better job of replicating the experience of managing a club in a real league (even if it does still get a few of the fundamentals wrong). The moment the ML concentrates on a real league structure is the moment it moves into a real simulation IMO.

Do you think,the ball is important in a football game? Look at this video,people says, wow nice goal,those are fifa players :LOL:,they are know nothing about the football.The ball never curve like that with foot inside.

I don't know english,but thanks god,i know football and i touched football in real life. :LOL:

wrong forum. Why dont u post the negatives u speak of in the Fifa forum. Oh and it wouldnt be too difficult to find videos pointing out the flaws in pro but I really am not that desperate to try and get a point across.

pff i dont need OPM of PSM to decide what game is better, i played pes2010/we2010 demo and fifa2010 demo,for me its CLEAR that its gonna be PES :)(like the past 12 years :) )
Sounds like a fanboy, but my DNA is hardcoded with PES

I'm glad you get that feeling mate from the MM, I couldnt, but its down to personal enjoyment. And if you get that, then its all good. I play Fifa for a 'daft kickabout', and for the fun element of the skills and visuals. I have never even contemplated playing it in MM because of the reasons I listed previous.

It did say in the FIFA 10 MM, that via updates, you can have your team updated to match the exact fixtures of the teams and starting 11 as they are in real life. Sounds very good in that respect.

I really do think the difference in players is huge though between PES and Fifa. And it doesnt just equate to the big teams either. Try playing with Helsinki and alike, the differences are massive. Just my 2 cents.

Yes I see the video. Love to work there. Full size football pitch, Basketball courts, and more. Whats not to like about EA Canada studios.

You missed the point.(EA-Peter Moore-100/100-New video at Fifa studios.)No,i liked EA studios and video.Except the Japanese guy,he must works for Konami.Just kidding :LOL: I think,they are using newer mo-cap tecnology than Konami.Look at videos,fifa's mo-cap clothes are different but look at Fifa 07 mo-cap videos,they are same with Konami ;)

We know,Fifa has better animations and collision system than Konami but still same ball dude.Just better than old versions.And still small pitch size and goal posts.Why you are praise Fifa in this topic.You are hating Konami and Pes? I don't understand why,Pes 2010 is a good game,so much better than 2009.

Why you are talking about review,animation and fifa all the time.Nobody says ,Guys Pes 2010 has the perfect ball physic.Sorry but ,This is annoying me.People are just talking about the negative sides of Pes 2010 and positive sides of Fifa 10.

The people just care animation and nobody cares ball,realistic football pitch,goal posts.In the pitch,there is 22 players but just one ball.If you are believing ''EA lies'',there is no problem for me.

You get out what you put in with any game. If you treat it as a daft kickabout then no wonder you can't see the depth that is apparent to all those who take it more seriousl and take the time to learn how to play it. Of course you won't see the depth of MM if you never play it. I do think you're unnecessarily dismissive of the series and for those who put the time in with the other game it comes across as quite churlish; for me and several of the other PES-ers who have moved across or play both, there is more depth in the dribbling system alone than you accredit to the entire game.

If I do get PES this year then it will be as something to play as a laugh with some of my PSN friends but if I really want to sink my teeth into a game then it will be FIFA for the freedom for experimentation it gives you, as well as the depth of control you can achieve by playing with the settings. For both games online will be imperative though. There is moderate depth in both games' single player but infinitely more online, and no amount of AI will even begin to rival that.

Zee, at no point did I say it's impossible to get more depth out of one than the other; I said that if you go into it intending to find no depth then you will find exactly that. I also list why I find FIFA a more enticing long term prospect, without once dismissing PES as being daft or for kids.

acey, your post was belittling everyone who does not agree with how you think, therefor it was laughable.

You clearly love PES, that's fine I felt the same way until 08, but I never slated or bemoaned people who preferred FIFA, sure you can bash the game all you want but if someone prefers it, it does not make them wrong and you right my friend.

As for the true to football aspect both games have errors and there is no law that says you have to have played at a professional level to know how the game works or should work.

The forum is about opinions and though some people don't seem to think so, we are all allowed to have one... ;)



We need some more news from Konami... :P

The tactical side of PES 2010 alone is one reason to rate it higher than MM, all the other stuff just comes down to personal preference.

Just saw those FIFA clipping screens; why is there an obsession of one game out doing the other. PES's clipping is still unacceptable regardless of whether or not FIFA does the same (although much less). Just because they both suffer from the same issue shouldn't mean it's suddenly ok.

I want the best football simulation whether it be from EA or Konami; infact i'd like more developers working on Football games for fierce competition ... I'm neither a Fifa fascist or PES nazi.

I agree. I've been playing and loving PES since PES3 despite all the shit Konami did with the game last couple of years. I also tryed Fifa 09 and 10 demo and liked both. It just comes down to taste and Fifa doesn't have the PES magic for me just as PES doesn't fit for someone else.

Agree with Acey 100%.If Pes 2010 is arcade game Fifa 10 is arcade game too:))Both game are totally different and I enjoy two games.KONAMI and EA have different view about simulation.Cheers
