I dont give a sh** about people saying if FIFA is better or not. What I hate is the "purist" attitude of some forums/members (not only here at EW) talking about FIFA is the real simulation and the holy grail of football (?) and if you play PES you are a crazy roadrunner who grabs Messi/Cristiano, do cutbacks and stuff. So telling in one quote, we are right and you are wrong... posts like "Pes demo tested, FIFA is still the king" or "definitely this one is for people who has a football brain, the rest can play that arcade game which is similar to World Cup from Nintendo".

At the end of the day, we play the game we like. But at least I want some respect if I like PES and dont want to be pointed with fingered as a child who doesnt like simulation or just know to press R2 all the time (which BTW I hate).

Oh I've seen it :) The physics engine of PES is heart breaking for a 2010 game... anyway, my collisions and physics suggestion got +100 votes, and with a bit more votes, it could be sent to KONAMI by Pesfan :)

il post up psm3 scans shortly,theyve changed their tune this year and have said fifa is the better game giving it a score of 90 to pes score of 89,they said pes is going in the right direction and that pes11 will be a better match for the next fifa

I have just bought it.

PES 2010 - 89%

FIFA 10 - 90%


They say in single player the ML of PES 10 shades the MM of FIFA 10.

Also they say PES 2010 has made the biggest improvements over the two games, but state they felt FIFA 10 was ahead after last year, therefore didnt need make as big of an improvement.

They say PES 2010 graphics and player models far surpass FIFA 10's zombie-esque renditions.

They also say that they scored PES 2009 way to high last year, and got stung by the pityful online play. They feel FIFA have improved their player individuality. ( It's still for me light years away from PES 2010 though IMO )

They say the ML is brilliant and where they will spend most of their time, but they said they will considering 'cheating' on their beloved PES 10 as FIFA is very good this year.

They say that PES 2010 is bug free, no more glitches, cheap cutback goals etc, no more freezing.

They also say that people that got dis-illusioned with PES 2009 and it's arcade nature will feel a real return to form with it's latest simulation based offering.

They say it's all down to preferred tastes and even the most loyal PES fans may give Fifa a go this year. And likewise, the Fifa men in the PSM3 office who have looked upon Konami's recent offerings with disdain have been curiously checking PES 2010 out.

another thing,you can only play the europa league as part of the master league,theres no europa league mode which is really dissappointing

it's evo-web for a start, everyone is on this site because of pro evolution soccer/winning eleven

fifa is a decent game, simple fact

pro evo on next gen lost it's way early on but after playing the demo it seems to have recaptured the love that has been sadly missing

Yes of course Fifa is a decent game but Pes 2010 is decent game too;)We have to know it that crap Pes games(2008/2009) gone:BYE: Step by step Pes is return.

I agree PES'10 seems on the right track but really personally for me I think the two years they spent 'lost' means this game should have been something we experienced in 2008. By now they should be introducing new features above all those back in the PS2 glory era (ie. challenge training, animations etc etc).

For all the good stuff in PES'10 there are a whole host of issues that could and should have been eradicated by 2010. For one there are some AI issues never seen in the PS2 days; I especially reference Goalkeeping in this case.

Having said all that ... looking foward to release day

No one is a fifa fanboy? Come on Dan you cant say that, agreed PES is the foundation of this site.
But every bit of news is trashed and every other glitch/flaw is highlighted and elaborated on to the n-th degree.
I'll change my record when everyone else does. Some people are just not willing to accept that PES is good game.
I can accept what Fifa has done and think it's awesome that Konami have been forced to sit up and take note of Fifas advances. All I want is for people to at least see the beauty in PES instead of being dismissive and narrow minded.
You probably right though I should rather leave those comments out.

Out of 20, never seen that before. For the lazy people, they scored PES with 15/20 and FIFA 18/20.

So in "normal" ratings it translates to:
PES 2010: 75/100
FIFA 10: 90/100

Obviously FIFA fanboys...

Agreed. There certainly is an elitist attitude from some of the Fifa faithful on this site. The view from some that Fifa is simulation perfection and PES players don't want to play real football grates on me.

I've spent many many hours playing both the Fifa 10 demo and the PES 2010 demo. All I know is I haven't touched the Fifa demo for 10 days or so, yet I play the PES demo for about an hour each day and I absolutely love it. No-one can convince me otherwise. That's why I cancelled my Fifa pre-order and I'm counting down the days until the 23rd October.

For all it's technical greatness, Fifa just doesn't hold my interest.

Have you not got the WE demo Jamez ? It's easy to get and you must have a few spare accounts on your 360 to get a free months Gold subscription ?

It's definatley worth getting bud.

No, I haven't as yet and I wasn't going to bother. Instead I want to wait for the full game and then hopefully be pleasantly surprised by the final code.

But I may give into temptation. All the WE 2010 reaction seems positive.

Definately give in. It feels a little quicker, but alot more responsive. And so much more that you see and feel the more you play it. And you get to play with Kaka. Which is nice. :LOL:

Year 2015;(Pes added a lot of animations,and they included Teamvision 6 in Pes 2015,and people notice,Fifa's mistakes.

Rutter; We listened the community.They said,we want a realistic pitch,goal post and ball.We worked to hard FifaVision 2 this year.

It's only my opinion like Jimmy ;)
