Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread (demo to hit on September 17th)
Oh my God! That's damn early! I'm off to MM to buy a new PS3 Slim!

I wonder if this will be from the 88.62% build or the 88.625% build which I'm told, from a source that I can't reveal, has 350 new net bulging animations.
No I asked SteveM from KONAMI and he said to me that demo will be with new code and nobody saw it!

Morning,
Just to clarify, the demo will feature a five minute game with five teams: Liverpool, Barca, and the German, Italian, French and Spanish national sides.
Someone also asked when the reviews start. PSM3 is out at the end of the month, and then the reviews will start coming thick and fast after that.
All the best,
Steve
that's very good news indeed, Konami needed to retaliate to the FIFA10 demo release and they're doing it the right way.
Once again I ask this question, will the demo be downloadable on sites and not via the PS3 and XBOX360 (from your previous demo download experiences) ?
Do you plan to burn the demo on a DVD ?
It's an all-new demo, I think - haven't seen it yet! Too busy with the review code! SteveM
This seems to be a very bold move by Konami. I cant remember them ever releasing a demo so early. Maybe they really do have something special, this early demo release has an air of confidence about it.
Just maybe Konami do have a plan so cunning, you really could stick a tail on it and call is a weasel after all.
This is going to be a long 24 hours for us PES addicts.
Easy my friend, I didn't know you were a PC-gamer.NO, i am planning to play it on my lap top at work. This is not fifa....pes pc is next gen...
Wow, thanks for the very clear answer.I did it with the FIFA demo thanks to Placebo's links for my 360 and I can't wait for tomorrow.PS3 demos are only available to download on the PlayStation Network through the PlayStation Store. Xbox 360 demos however are sometimes available to download via filesharing clients and websites e.g. torrents, usenet, rapidshare etc for those without Xbox LIVE access. The content folder you download can then either be transferred to the 360's HDD via a SATA connection or burnt onto DVD. Last week the FIFA 10 demo was available on these sites. I believe Placebo had a list of them. If you ask him im sure he will be able to point you in the direction of the PES 2010 demo download. The PC demo will obviously be available from a large selection of mirrored sites.
Surely being confident is releasing gameplay footage well before the game is due?
Not so confident after all. And he says "he hasn't seen it yet", not "nobody has seen it yet".
Now I'm just:

Let us know on the forums what you think of it when you do get your hands on it – keep in mind that the build may be behind the latest code that we’ve played…
After 23rd of October I never want to hear talk of 'builds' ever again.
Until next year anyway...
It means the same because SteveM always had the latest PES code and then PesFan,Riot etc...
I am afraid there is still a chance that the usual sospect claims that konami has changed things at the last minute to please the jap fan base and that his code is way better.
Sic transit gloria mundi...
