Konami must not fail this time,i hope that it's quiet so they can say to the doubter's " there you go " the best game so far.I hope this is the case.Then i got a couple of decent games for the winter.Give me a next gen WE10 and i'll live with that.

I was like that up until PES3 and life was soo good back then. Imagine not knowing anything about a game except a release date and booting up PES3 after a meh PES1 and 2 IMO. I don't think the birth of my daughter evoked as much emotion in me as that day did.

You don't get let down as much as well when you've not been reading about a game for months. Nearly all preview of games have idiots going playing them and then they come back reporting how it's amazing and the best thing in the world. Then when we get the game and find it isn't that great and we're looked at like were being miserable critical fanboys.


Fifa's been hyped and hyped for numerous reasons and now the demo is here, the 360 control that was supposed to blow us away hardly feels like a change worth hyping as they have. The other hype change is long range goals which is like hyping that you've added a slide tackle button. I've scored long range goals in Fifa 09 time after time with no problems and it felt as rare and great as it used to in PES back in my PS2 days. Now they've added long range goals as a feature, after playing the demo it feels quite scripted and has lost the rare fluke feeling. I've played the demo on and off and found it alright but it hasn't impressed me as much as I was expecting or as I had been led to believe it would with the hype.


With PES I've read hardly anything concrete about the game other than the card system so I'm not expecting a lot from the demo/full game. That's not to say I'm expecting no improvements at all, just that I'm looking forward to seeing PES 10 and playing the demo and anything they've added I will take at face value and not look past it and ask 'where the hell is editable nets and a real world league structure? this game sucks!'.

No doubt Sony will keep us waiting again and release it during peak hours.

Why all the negativity around the Gamescom demo? What are the problems with it?

EDIT: Actually ignore that, according to PESFan it isn't the Gamescom build.

I guess another lost day work....i'll be playing the demo most of the time in the office (although i suck with keyboard...)

actually sounds nothing like "it's the gamescom demo" read: "I told you don't believe yesterdays news I was just waiting for the official word before we could say anything. It won't be the GC build, that was a special build for that event" it's right there it's NOT the gamescom demo

it's coming from the TheBoss and on pesfan that's as official as you can get ...cool?

I do wonder what Adam is gonna come up with once the demo is released....still i am very much looking forward to this, i am getting bored with pes6, still a great game but every game gets a bit dull after 3 years.

I wonder if this will be from the 88.62% build or the 88.625% build which I'm told, from a source that I can't reveal, has 350 new net bulging animations.

I loved the story adam told about bringing his pes code with him during a biz trip....i can picture him packing his ps3 or even better, his debug machine and go travelling with it....very handy indeed....

Anyway what's the best/fastest site for demo downloading??

Very excited about tomorrow's demo. This explains why there were no new vids all this time.

Hopefully I will be able to download it freely with my silver account no strings attached.

I will play this demo with out any reservation. I will give it a fair shot and enjoy it for what it is.

Do you plan to burn the demo on a DVD ?
