Maybe the odd bobble here and there would help, but overall the weighty ball physics feel excellent to me. Ahh, that was a hell of a solo, I remember I tried to play it on guitar... with very little success.

Back on topic, someday PES will be like it, my friend, someday...

NO MAN RESPONSIVENESS IS NOT THE ONLY THING what about player animations ,grahics,ball physics,ComputerAI and gameplay .Graphics is number 1 because that's why i bought a ps3 to see next gen graphics and to eperience next gen gaming so far what i've seen and read KONAMI has delivered the visuals as for my further comments it will be pouring in after i have played the demo.

And no, I dont care about animations, only response times. I will post some more videos to tide us over till PES 2010, and I will show you why animations dont bother me personally. They are, as far as I'm concerned, just the cherry on the top.

I absolutely didnt feel that way. Sorry but I played PES on PS2 at the evening after gamescom and the difference in response times were day and night.

I have to say that I dont like the 2009 response times either in a couple of situations (passing).

looking forward to this PES so much, I've switched off from the negativity TBH, animations are a definate improvements, graphics=wow, ball physics aprt from 08, have always been the PES strong point, easy to edit, revamped ML, revamped online modes.................it looks very good to me.

I remember Peter Molineaux saying in a eurogamer interview he might be working on a sport game sooner or later because there such a lack of innovation in sports games in general that someone should come up with something new.

Dr force, after a decade of pes i guess some of us are tired of "revamped this, reworked that, refined this.." etc, we need something braver and more innovative.
Fifa is trying some stuff with the Be a Pro, set piece editor, 11vs11 on line etc. Konami is plaing safe, too little too late tbh espcially when u compare pes with other stunning sport games.

I'm starting to get a gut feeling that the final version won't be that big a change....

But the slower pace and higher difficulty are enough for me.... Animations? Next year, hopefully...

Of course it won't be a big change to what we saw so far. And tbh, we haven't seen that much. But in a recent comparisons (me and some other people) between PES 6 (Xbox360 one to be more exact) and PES 2010 from Riot video, there aren't big differences in the gameplay/feeling.

I know Charlie but it seems to have at last turned the corner. FIFA only turned that corner once they started listening to consumer feedback.......PES is on the way:COOL:

Hi just post this on another forum a while ago and i think it fits here to.

I simply cant understand some people around here, it really causes some confusion, people who still saying they play PES for the feeling and because its more fun.

But now i ask, if you really liked playing for Ex: PES 5 and 6 ( that´s the ones with the feeling and the terrific gameplay ), how could you say, you like to play this two last games ( this last two are a complete diferent aprouch in comparisson to 5 and 6 ).

How could you say you play for the feeling and the gameplay, if its completely diferent of the last ones on PS2, just don´t get it.

That makes me think that some of you just play it because "PES is PES" even if is was the worst crap around.

Well lets hope this new one brings me the old felling of the PES 6 or 5 where we had a balance bettwen simulation and hilarios fun

I agree with Dr Force. Reading many of the posts here just turns me off sometimes. Over-analyzing and whatnot. Just play the game and enjoy it. If you can't then don't play it. If you want to enjoy it but can't then provide suggestions for the next version. Thats how I see things.

Life can be hard, but we can make it simple.

Bang on Lami;)

It seems the negativity has now died a death (thankfully) and we are left with people that can see the changes, appreciate the difference, but also see the flaws without having to go over and over the same stuff:ZZZ:

I want to see more screens to wet the appetite, and some more info in respect of the online modes. I keep going on about it, but the seabass goal in Germany colours got me excited again, that boucing ball scuffed in at the back post and the real time celebration, brought back all those great moments I loved about PES.

Now where's the fooking demo:))

As long as people delude themselves into thinking that animations don't play a very important role in developing a football sim, the game will continue to be picked apart just for that very reason and even the most diehard of PES fans will start to realize that hey, the players DO stutter/skip/sacrifice/cheat their animations to provide the gamer with ultra-responsiveness, so then maybe the game's fundamentally broken after all since animations AND responsiveness AREN'T exactly MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE! Doh!

At least I know what I'll be buying either games for; this year's arcade and sim football offerings are the best yet! ;)

im getting well pissed off with this news shit, wtf are konami doing i no its good news apparently but seriously they could update us a bit by doing five minutes on the blog every couple of days especialy after most people reaction about the gamescom code and that its a month old. They should say whats going on in the game, if this is the calm before the storm than the storm better be fucking amazing, fifa releasing news every day and i now pes is a month behind but fifa was releasing news everyday a month ago aswell, sorry if i sound like i love fifa its just im pissed that we have heard fuck all news from pes comming up to four weeks, not even a trust worthy guy tht know something, hope they better do something soon

How about PES2010 demo in psn store?? Someone answered FIFA will be available this week. It would be great have both to finish all the discussions.
