Darn it! if only that one fake rumor about the in-game net editor was true. This game really needed some varying styles of Goals and nets. Fifa does as well.

The net animations for this game are nice, but those of Footbal Kingdom are still #1.

The problem I have with PES nets animation is how at the point of impact, the entire ball shoots right through the net and sticks out on the other end...Istead, it should slam against the back of the net causing a massive ripple effect through out the entire net.

yes.
Its more fluid and the very strange animation for players with low dribble speed is gone...:D

Shots are much better too, especailly when shooting from the side was very bad in 09, now its good:)

Edit: played PES 2009 today to test it and had to turn it off after 10 min (ingame minuted). The difference is dramatic:O

Then played PES5 and it reminded me of 2010 from gamescom. I'm not saying that because I get money from konami, its my honest opinion)
The main differences are game speed and fluidity:)

PS I have more to come, also some possibly background images with real life Torres shooting;)

watching the latest videos and then playing pes 09 gives me much joy, looks like alot of differences. It looks so much better than the last few pes games just from view videos. None of the stiffness or jerkiness, fix limits of passing and movement etc.
PES 09 isn't the best game but it still is enjoyable and i play it alot, along with pes 6. Im looking forward to this big time now.

Yeah I'm really pumped today....especially after seeing 1) The shaky PES2010 video 2) The FIFA10 video... 3) Seabass' comment about the code being 1-month old, which means like PESfan said, the newer one is slower and looks better...

I hope they can at least have FIFA10's turns, twists, and runs animations... but one can only ask for so much. I really care most about the cameras for PES2011... it's a small change with a big impact...

I love your optimism Jimmy. I just wish we didn't have to wait so long for a demo, I bet it won't be until the end of September.

I can't play 09 anymore...
Maybe the open beta will be earlier...

Off topic, I used to play for Forest as a kid when Cloughie was boss, although my first team youth coach was a bloke called Jimmy McEmerey. The old 1st division. What a team they had then, and my excuse for not breaking into it. :LOL:

Pearce, Webb, Sutton, Walker, Nigel Clough, Phil Starbuck to name but a few, cracking team.

Thanks for all the info Pate you are doing a great job.
Do you know what the free kicks are like?
In PES09 they are too simple and you cant do the legendary ones with the swerve and dip with the really good players like in pes5.
