Watch Benzema's run from about 1:45. Is that 360 dribbling? The slight angles he takes certainly look like it to me.

Just watched the videos. The intro's look stunning and as do the player faces but the gameplay is basically 2009 with a few more animations. I'm not sure why they promised more than that. I'm actually fine with it. I'll sink myself into the wackiness that is Master League and I'll build my own little team. Tweaking everything to perfection.
In my opinion Konami's game has never been about 100% true-to-life representations of the sport. The shooting has always had sting or perfect curl you can adjust mid-flight and the crossing has alway done what you wanted regardless of foot-placing. Headers ping off your head into the top and bottom corner. Your keeper always had the ability to make superman saves.
BUT the main thing is the feeling of emulating your footballing heroes (international superstar soccer, remember) on the pitch. Recognising a beckham freekick, a zidane roulette or a ronaldinho free kick from tele cam. Scoring a goal and having the euphoria captured in a slow motion replay of your own celebrations cut between shots of your goal.
These are things that the other title hasn't provided thus far (and i'm a big fan of it btw).
So as long as the responsiveness is up to par (that's the hallmark of the franchise so it HAS TO BE on point), then i'll be purchasing it. No problems.

I think the hype-rs made out this was going to be some massive leap forward which they have been flouting for the last three incarnations, It's better than 09 that's clear even from the vid's.
Some things are still an issue but was there anyone here who was, hand on heart expecting more..

For me it looks like the front end has been much improved, I'm still gutted about the ML but I'll be bashing the demo and trying the game too on the back of that, though being a Darksider I won't be a pre order monkey, but then I never am...
As for the individuality of players which seems to be PES's holy grail let's just hope those who say it looks a little more FIFA than PES don't find that it's more than skin deep...
