Thanks, but the credit goes to ChatGPT although it did need about 30 prompts to get it right in the end

Villarreal are great to use in 2008. Did you stick with the default formation?I've just started a Liga season with Villareal on WE 2008 (5-star difficulty).
So far 3 games and 4 points.
Defeat 0-1 vs Malaga
Victory 2-1 vs Getafe
Draw 0-0 vs Real Madrid

It's my favourite Spanish team.
Default tacic, yes.
And manage the line-up depending on players condition and arrows.
I use Roman as RM or LM.
Senna is always in my starting eleven, as well as Rossi.
I alternate between Tomasson and Nihat for the 2nd striker.
Are you on real hardware or using some sort of a patch ? Which WE2008 are you playing ?I've just started a Liga season with Villareal on WE 2008 (5-star difficulty).

.psu on FreeMcBoot.@geeeeee Just reloading your marvellous iso and option file but having trouble with the latter. Can you please remind me what format the option file needs to be if using Free McBoot on OG PS2?
Many thanks.
Thanks. I'll give it another go..psu on FreeMcBoot.
It has to be in a SAVE folder. The iso should be in a DVD folder.
Thanks. I'll give it another go.
Edit: I think that's the problem. I'm on mac and when I download the option file, it's not .psu format. Is there a convertor or can someone PM me the .psu format file?
Much appreciated.
@geeeeee Thanks. Yes, that's the one. Having trouble converting it.... which is all down to me not being the most tech of types!Hi @reinelt97 sorry I have just seen your message. I will have a look tomorrow (actually today damn these world cup games are late 😅)

Hi @geeeeee
Thanks for your help. I downloaded the SLES PSU file, copied it over my existing file on my PES 2008 save but still no luck. I could have sworn I did this before but I can't recall how.

Did it! I think the problem was a cheeky "1" that had somehow attached itself to the end of the file name.Just to confirm, what are you playing on?
