Yep its all on 0 game speed, to me as someone that played the game it looks just as slow as the other 4 I put out. Its really weird. I get DM's of people asking me if this is -2 or -1 speed because it looks slower, to you it looks faster. Its crazy how diverse the reactions are of the gamespeed. Thats a really weird thing this year with people watching all the vids.

Looking forward to seeing you all play the demo in a week

HA!
How can we expect developers to take anything we say seriously when the same video looks +2 to somebody, and then the next guy says it looks -2. An to top it off, it was actually played at 0.

Exactly what i was thinking hahahaha

Worst part is Konami are bragging about a massive overhaul of myclub, all I honestly is a new interface and card system, didn’t realise it takes a year to do that.

Spooky surely has to be Konami's MVP right now, he's taken a community from a state of crisis to overall optimism!

The thing is with Weedens is although he makes great trailers you never see the gameplay it's taken from, so it can feel a bit fake, especially when you consider that he has managed to make every game look good, no matter how good or bad the actual gameplay is.

P.S. I thought both of the two player videos looked faster, I think it's blatantly obvious when you look at how they are hounding the AI with two or three players constantly and forcing them to play quickly, there is space everywhere and so it looks end to end, "high octane" as someone put it. The best video is still the one where he scored a free kick, I just hope the final game is more of that and less of the spammy ping-pong backheel fests.

Everything depends on the lens you look at it with.
Even now, I'm playing League Mode in PES 2018 and some days I really enjoy it and think I'm going to love PES 2019, but some other days it just annoys the hell out of me.

Some observations so far:

-Goalies glued to their lines makes every goal identical despite the new shooting styles, The same finish in every video.

- From day 1 I never took any of Konami's PR seriously and I think they're making more damage year by year, Questionable individuals and behavior involved as well.

- If we ignore that there's an offline element to the game and concentrate on Konami's "Online or nothing" strategy, The game is still pretty awful and is just cheaply copying FIFA's model for no reason other than that they are not good enough as creative minds, or actually care about feedback. Three passes and you're one on one all game.

- The principle of lying about features shouldn't be taken lightly because it's not a gameplay essential, They've lied about bigger stuff in the past and it should stop. (Lie is a big word btw). This should apply to bringing up real life stats when it suits your argument in defending Konami's limitations.

- The community should alienate and hound out the guys who attend events and then lie about features every year, They spam forums with fake news and events they're attending, But don't share the real stuff just what Konami tells them to, Are we supposed to believe that stuff like Regens, Scripting, Fouls, ML issues aren't discussed at these events? The generic I APPLAUD KONAMI shouldn't be accepted anymore.
They're doing it for personal reasons and it's time to shame these individuals even if Konami threaten to close forums or pages or send their drones out just to fool some kids into buying the game.(We all buy it anyways)

The way people have changed their stance on Konami since PES 2018 on this forum at least is staggering IMHO but healthy and shows how we can be democratic about things without crossing the line.

Edit: Adam/Asim is a good guy posts are irrelevant coz we've nothing personal with them, We just want a solid tight PR style that is reflective of the greatness of the series.

As you were...

That online or nothing thing you speak of doesn't exist, online still has the same annoying thing for years like pause flashing, being matched with people where connections are clearly incompatable and void cheaters.

The thing about hounding out people, not sure what else to say there other than what age are you, guessing young teens.

I think it's relevant personally.

Couldn't agree more. Past behaviours are reflected in current behaviours. Leopards and spots.

well lads looks like people are quick to forget what @Chris Davies wrote on page 1 of this thread

"This thread will be used to discuss that news, and the game. NOT PEOPLE."
"Insulting ANYONE - another member, Adam, Asim, ANYONE, A-N-Y-O-N-E"

sorry but I've been reading alot of things about my friend Asim (past couple of pages), and some of it is insulting him by making out he's a liar.

let's focus on PES and PES alone

Hey Dan you do a job to those who listen, my pes source for a few month now so ignore the haters bro.

I think people are focusing on lies related to ''PES 2019'' than on people.

and adding peoples names to the posts ...... not good at all.

looking forward to the demo at least with the demo we can give online a bash, get a flavour for how online will work.
alot of people enjoyed PES2018's online beta hopefully it will be the same this time round

it's late so I'll finish off with a Celtic fan who will be at Glasgow this thursday (looking forward to meeting him)

@dillon2112
Well well, what can I say about today’s news absolutely buzzing words can’t describe it! Thanks so much @officialpes @Lygaard @AsimTanvir and everyone in the PES team for @CelticFC partner, buzzing even more now for the event

Except that of course the demo won’t be a true reflection of things and it probably won’t have anything in common with the final product/release retail version, so whatever we see in the demo and how smooth n fast the net code appears to be.

Like every other year since 2008, the real game will bomb on-line and we’ll all need a ‘monster’ patch to sort it all out, but only after like the end of November.

Some more gameplay from my end 2vsSuperstar

Just look at the difference of pace between the first half and the second half, night and day. The game definetely looks faster than the E3 build and it is caused by the change in the assistance. The pasing plays are constantly happening without error, therefore everything is faster and chaotic. Great videos tho...

Tomorrow the tour is here in Argentina.
I doubt it, but man would I love it if Independiente's stadium was in.

In reference to the posts about how there is no difference between playing the top teams and the weaker teams, just thought I'd post my take on it.

Say the correct skill level based on a teams stats is set correctly on Regular difficulty. Barcelona are the best on Regular for example and Bolton are the worst. Barcelona on regular still have a great pass completion rate and score more of their shots on goal because their rating is high. Bolton on the other hand are the opposite and have a lower pass completion and can barely score.

However each time you increase difficulty, how else can you make the game harder wothout upping each team's stats in the background? There's not much more you can increase Barcrlona's stats, but with Bolton there is much greater headroom. By the time you get to Superstar difficulty, Bolton will naturally be much closer to Barcelona than they were at Regular difficulty as Barcelona probably maxed out at Professional or Top Player.

I play on Professional these days and definitely see a difference between the weaker teams and the top teams. Unfortunately you can't make a football game harder without making the weaker teams closer in performance to the top teams. Barca with 95% pass completion on Regular can't improve much further, Bolton on 75% can. Difficulty goes up and the difference between teams lessens.

Sounds really plausible honestly. Have you tested it out? I have never experimented with that but knowing Konami, there could be a stats cap due to difficulty. Will actually experiment with that. Good idea!

Playing against Top Player or Higher has been absolutely horrible the past few years. I get especially mad about the laser guided passing by players with 62 overall when playing in the Serie B for example. I don't get why Konami can't add something like this in so at least the L1+Triangle passes the CPU play aren't as OP:

Alright after some digging on both FIFA and PES, both of them seem to have this issue. PES seems to have it worst.

CPU vs CPU::::
Code:
Superstar(PES 10 mins)::
Coventry 1 - 0 Real Madrid
4(2):                3(3)
58%:                42%
93%:                87%

Professional(PES 10 mins)::
Coventry 0 - 2 Real Madrid
1(0):                8(6)
38%:                62%
86%:                90%

Superstar(FIFA 10 mins)::
Coventry 0 - 1 Real Madrid
2(2):                3(1)
48%:                52%
90%:                94%

Professional(FIFA 10 mins)::
Coventry 0 - 3 Real Madrid
0(0):                10(9)
34%:                66%
82%:                91%

Clearly it looks like stats are capped due to difficulty. That's pretty interesting. It makes the worst team, the best team even CPU vs CPU.

Well,one thing is for sure..The guy who thought that this may be in -2 speed is into some heavy sim and realism..lol
This looks like +1 even compared with 18.They definitely sped it up and made it more assisted than E3 AGAIN!
And they had the nerve to say that it can't be changed from what we saw at E3 because the game launches early this time...When we all know that they can always change it even throughout the year with a patch and the release date has nothing to do with it.And once again they proved this.
Watching the E3 videos i was happy that finally i'll be able to play with a more free PA1 cause i don't play manual.
And now i see this laser guide shit again..Also i was thinking that 0 speed looks finally balanced enough with more weight and i was going to play with it,but after what i'm seeing in these demo videos i'm sure that i'll have to play in -1 again to enjoy it.It just looks ridiculous how fast ping pong the cpu plays most of the time.
Every year they say the exact same thing.''It's slower with a more realistic pace''..
They're saying this shit for literally 4 years in a row now.From 16 and onwards.And then we see this...
By now it should have felt like -2 on default after all these years if what they were saying was true lol.
I'm definitely less hyped now to play it than how i felt after the E3 ones.But with some settings that suits me i think i'll find a way to enjoy it somehow at least.But still i feel let down after from what i saw from E3.
I know that youtube videos make it look worse and maybe a bit more sped up than when you play it but E3 was also youtube videos and looked better and more realistc.These new ones just look and feel worse overall.

This is why I always play PES in Regular or Professional.

Who have I insulted? Nobody.
All I said was their previous opinions and actions are relevant today.
You aren't admin, Daniel. Let them police the forums.

Waiting for the demo. How long left?

not long Aug 8th is the demo date, around demo time alot of guys takes trips to your country (digitally) as a way of getting the demo downloaded early.
