So you can get duplicate players but there's still no transfer market? Even more rip-off than "old" myClub.

"Now you can obtain players more easily to build your IDEAL squad" Wrong. I can never build my ideal squad because I can't choose the players I want to buy.

From 1000 MLO games in PES2012 to 0 myClub games in PES2019 for me I guess.

Since the vast majority of players play MyClub it's normal that the info is gonna be about MyClub.
Also what more info on anything else you expect?
I think they already said everything about what we'll have in ML etc.

Also about the people saying that these finals should be played on full manual,i think it would be an even bigger shitfest than what this already ping pong shitfest is.
They're playing 10 min matches.In full manual it would be full of misplaced passes,no chances,no goals.
No one except from a bunch of you guys here would be interested to watch it.
I'm not saying that this is right or wrong.It's just how it is.You people act like you don't know what the majority prefers.
It should be strictly on a less assisted PA1 like it seems to be in 19 and maybe even a bit less.
So it's not super ping pong like it is now but neither a goaless misspass fest like it would be on full manual.

MyClub looks so sick this year, various training that you can do for your players and especially being able to train a player in a new position if you like .....for those who play MyClub, wow man's are raving on twitter atm.

trust me this year I'll be ready, legendary edition ready and I'm gonna be like (The Iron Sheikh) Sheikh Mansour splashing the cash

Well considering there has been many people sharing a similar opinion of Lygaard's antics in here, I'd say you've misjudged the mood. As I've said many times, given the position Konami put themselves in when it comes to PR, hinting at things that might have been creates disappointment.

To give you a different example, if Arsenal hinted each year at signing Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar etc and then delivered Lichtsteiner, after a while you'd probably hope that they'd stop with the hints.

This is a weird argument. You don't think people would learn to play with manual settings if there still was prize money etc? Of Course they would.

Also; manual isn't really manual anymore, I'm a pretty bad Pes- player but I have no problem stringing passes around, it's just that you have to think a bit more...

I'm also looking forward to the myclub changes but hope everything that's new isn't a massive time sink/grind fest.

As for putting cash in, they can add whatever they want I still won't give them anymore, well maybe £10 if they really impress me but that'll be all.

It's not a matter of if people would learn to play with manual settings,it's a matter of that no one except a tiny minority would want to play like this or watch these finals like this.This is a fact and it can be seen from how few people play manual and how many assisted.It's just very inconvenient and frustrating for the majority.
Again,i'm not saying that this is right or wrong.It's just how it is.
They're playing 10 min matches in a very competitive environment and the majority of people who watch these things want to see some good plays(for what is considered good in their opinion),goals and action in this limited time.
How many of that they would produce in a 10 min full manual match?
Full manual is for someone who wants to play a stressless 20 min match with a like minded buddy of his and go for sim realistic plays without caring how many chances he will produce etc.But the vast majority don't think like this.
For me it should be on PA1 but a less assisted one as it seems to be in 19 and even a little less but i don't think it will be much less than what we already saw.I like it how it seems to be from what we saw.Given the fact that it will stay like this.
If it had different categories like one for full manual and one for PA1 then ok.
But if there can be only one then it should be only a less assisted PA1 strictly and not this PA2 and PA3 bullshit that we see now.

A misplaced pass in a football match, what madness

The reason people play on higher assist levels has nothing to do with entertainment value and everything to do with winning at all costs. Like an online match against a high pass level Real Madrid player, it is about as entertaining as a punch in the teeth.

At least manual play (and to some degree, PA1) looks vaguely like an actual football match, unlike this automatic passing bullocks.

Nah mate, don't get it twisted.
They were never afraid of demo unlockers. They simply stopped releasing a PC DEMO BEFORE FULL GAME RELEASE in a way to punish the PC community from their wrongdoings. Not because they were afraid of anything.
Instead of blaming their own team for their laziness at creating the demo pack for including the whole database that was unlocked. They took the easy way out which was blame the community.

And I'll tell you one more thing, if they make the same mistake this year of including the entire DB in the demo, modders will unlock it again. Unfortunately. Because as much as I would like modders to respect the PES team if they wish the demo not to be unlocked, we have a huge community of modders who won't care about that.

It would be nice if you can choose the skill or position to train but no .. it's random. Like everything in that game mode. Training, players from agents, players from converting duplicates. Great lottery and money milking machine

IMHO there is no need to splash extra cash in Myclub. I have always used in game coins accumulated. This applies to the other game as well.

you just don't give it a rest don't ya, just watching the man Jonas Lygaard give the co-op trophy to the winners , it's just hints nothing more, relax and keep calm and see it for what it is.

and in fact my team Arsenal under Wenger promised the fans heaven and earth (move to the Emirates to compete with the likes of
Real Madrid)and nothing happened as soon as the season start we get behind our team.

Hints at nothing though, that's the point. Hints only serve a purpose if they lead to something.

That's literally the point of hinting at things.

Half the contributors to this thread can't see positivity without posting "OH IT'S LIKE KONAMI RUN THIS THREAD" - and the other half can't see criticism of the game without posting "NOBODY'S ALLOWED TO LIKE THE GAME".

Both utterly stupid. Open your eyes.

Criticism is fine. Positivity is fine. Insulting people because they're critical or positive IS NOT FINE and we're back to having to ban people.

Keep it constructive and about the game, please.

Reminder: If you don't like certain poster(s), we have a very useful "block" function. Particularly handy if your dialogue with someone is going around in circles. Hint. Hint.
 
My biggest wish is a Manual filter for online gaming,I wanna go online and play Vs people who are like minded,not PA3 dudes.

ML has been dead for years and won't be coming back,so make online leagues/challenges at least somewhere near real football for us who want it!

This is the second time I've seen this argument in the past few days - not all of us want to learn (or have the time to spend getting good at) manual passing, but that doesn't mean we want a game that, by default, features no misplaced passes.

I agree that just having auto/manual is a good idea - but only if the auto side works in a less automatic fashion than PA1 is now. More like "semi" in the other football game. Because currently, the default passing assist... It's just not football. It's nothing like football. Maybe it's fun to some, but it's no representation of the sport.

But knowing that some people will miss the current pass assist (i.e. those "pro" competitors), realistically, I think there'll always need to be three settings (auto for them, semi for guys like me, manual for guys like you).

I didn't like the PES gameplay back when it was Master League Online rather than my Club, whichever version it was. I really regret not having spent more time in that mode before it was too late.

They copied FUT (and now even more so with the packs) for one reason...

If you're coming over from FIFA Ultimate Team, it all feels wonderfully familiar, and you're more likely to stay (and spend) than if it's too different.

I think a lot of us have this notion that PES is an artistic creation, made out of love for football. It's as much a product as FIFA is.

They know how to make the most money. Hence them going all-out for licenses, legends and myClub. Us ML/offline guys... We're pretty fucked. Let's be honest.
