Please can everyone fill this in, and post it on social media etc. if you can.

The more responses they get (and the more they see people complaining about how bad the Master League is for stuff like transfer fees, the release clause issue, the AI being superhuman etc.), the more chance they'll listen).

The questions/answers seem a little bit biased to me and focused towards specific actions, for example : "People said they are not interested in Belgium League, so we removed it completelly". Furthermore i wanted to complain about the removal of D2 leagues and the lock of Thai League.
Also allowing only 3 negatives to point in ML section while for MyClub they had the chance to name 5 negatives, forced me to let outside negatives, i wanted to mention. Even in this form , i declared my disatisfaction, in game-parts i think are still poor.
 
I don't believe much in this surveys to be honest. I mean I'll fill it and all, since it costs nothing but a few minutes, but I'm not putting in it any serious hope of change.

At this point, I'm afraid their response to my (or anybody else for what that matters) feedback about complete lack of interest in My Club and online wouldn't be "let's see if we can improve offline as this guy is asking", but rather "ok, how do we get even this one to play My Club?".. but maybe I'm just pessimist.

Same. I ticked "other" and then wrote "gameplay" (which wasn't part of any option, I think they think they've nailed it), going into detail about how perfect and boosted the AI are.

I mean, I would urge everyone to take a look at this Twitter account, Suggestions for PES.

It's absolutely fantastic (similar ones have been made for FIFA).

Everything they need to know is there. But I think they're looking for quick wins - not taking big strides and changing the game. Sadly.

Decided to give the new patch a go, to see if they've undone any of the things that happened with DP4.



That's Fulham (in acres of space I'll admit) hitting perfect first-time passes and going for the low-cross > goal, the pass hit so pin-point perfectly that my defenders can't even get a toe on it. On Top Player.

EDIT: Klash, in the YouTube comments section, has pointed out (as I did above) that there's lots of space and that Fulham are just taking advantage of it, which totally misses the point IMO. This is my response to that (the old "you could prevent this"):

You're analysing one thing and I'm analysing another. Yes there's lots of space - the point is that Fulham ruthlessly take advantage of it and nail every single pass, INCLUDING the final pass across a box of defenders that happens to be so pixel-perfect that nobody can even get a toe onto it.

I'll happily get beat for playing poorly, and I'm playing poorly here (I was in a rush and just wanted to see if the patch had undone the recent changes that have made the game faster and the AI way too "perfect" again, like at release). The point is - all passing, particularly the AI's, is utterly perfect.

They don't even need to take a touch and cushion the ball to bring it under control at any point - the only time they don't do a first-time pass is because of positioning reasons (i.e. the striker's position). All ball contact is alien-race-level perfect. This ain't football.

just an exercise for Bhatti and co to say - we listen to our fans by asking them q's in a survey.

do they do anything constructive with the survey?

I doubt it -if anything they'll try and take points from feedback and make it fit into pes 2020 (rather than make pes 2020 fit around the survey findings).

good survey questions would be :

do you think its time for Bhatti and Danielrh to go?

why are you paying us so much money when we've been laughing in your faces for years with a game of scripts?

you have £50 in your wallet. do you a) preoder pes 2020 or b) book an appointment to get your brain checked

If that was the case, the questions would just be "do you like the game, 1-5, do you like Master League, 1-5". They'd be really basic.

If you read between the lines, the survey is quite revealing, I think. They're not asking vague "tell us what you want to see" questions, they're giving us choices.

...the vast majority of which are "what do you think of the menus" and similar.

I think the choices indicate that the dev team is looking for quick wins, and that the resources just don't exist for anything beyond picking a few targets and hitting those.

If they look at the graphs on the other end of this survey and "poor menus" gets 90% of the vote, then next year's game (and marketing) will be about how much easier, prettier and/or more info you get as part of, the new menus. (Menus come up often.)

Sadly, the Master League bit is essentially "pick the three worst bits", which says to me the evolution of the ML will be, if we're lucky, transfer values going up and the release clause issue being fixed.

Come on, now. The vast majority wouldn't know anyone related to the game's development. Sometimes I think we forget we're obsessives here, and 99% who buy the game are playing it because they've got sick of FIFA/FUT for some reason.

I don't think the survey questions are "bad" - I think they're indicative of the situation. It's a pretty sad reality check. (There's no point in them saying "if you could rip up the game and start from scratch, what would you do" - because they don't have the scope to do that.)

But I still hope enough people tear the ML apart for them to go "okay, we should spend some more time on this than we were going to".

I was interested to see one of the myClub answers was "I don't like buying players through random spins", and another was "I think the game requires you to spend money to realistically compete" (well duh). Again, can only hope everyone ticks that one.

EDIT: I think the reality behind our feeling of "these surveys change nothing" is that we all vote "ML is terrible, I don't play myClub" whereas everyone else who plays PES votes "I don't play ML, myClub is terrible", and the immediate response is "shit, myClub has microtransactions, we need to fix that first".

Which is why it's so important us old bastards fill it in, and get all the other old bastards to fill it in. Maybe don't tell the kids about it...

Whether they take it on board or not, there is a survey and there is an option to express our opinions and wishes.
I dont see any reason why anybody would not take 10/15 mins to write everything what we talk about here. The more the merier.
Im not expecting miracles but Im not missing a single survey, where I can give feedback. Especially coming straight from Konami. At least I can say that I tried.

Good survey! It seems that they are aware of a lot of the problems when you read these possible answers. But isn't it too late for this for Pes 2020 anyway? We are only 6 months away from the next iteration.
 
To sum up all that is wrong with PES online I have had 3 games recently that basically show it.

First one was like playing PES 2013 again, dude just spammed high through balls to fast strikers. Luckily my defence dealt with it all day. But clearly he has had some luck with it or else he wouldn't be doing it. Was just missing Van Der Mirch and Hulk to be honest!

Second game was the typical full assist spammer who literally just one touched at every opportunity from kick off to the end of the game. This would be fine if there was some form of pass error but there wasn't and I literally had to work my ass off to break it up. I don't mind working for the ball but when you know every pass is going to be perfect. Pass error and stats need to make first time passing a hell of a lot harder.

Final one felt like a great game. Me as Fenerbache vs Barcelona. Finished 0-0, very evenly matched, I had one shot he had zero. Messaged him after the game because it was brilliant and he said it was boring. Sorry they can't all be 5-4 end to end games. Everyone is so fixated on the high scoring win at all costs that they can't just enjoy a very skilful and closely contested match.

The win at all costs is what is killing PES online and until they start closing off some of the cheaper tactics and spammy styles it ain't going to get any better. As I have said before, with the right opponent the game can be superb online, unfortunately most of the time you just don't get that. Error on passes and making stats matter would fix a lot as would more intelligent defensive ai to help close down some of the cheaper passes and exploits. Make the game a game of skill, allow a very loose pa1 online but nothing more. Think it was 2012 or 13 that had the 360 passing and made you really think about it although there was some assist on it to help correct things a bit. That always felt perfect and should be the max of assist online.

I’m not asking myself this question anymore for some time now. Guess I became the PES-juicer; squeezing out every drop of the good stuff! :)

Na, i was thinking the same. Bet it’s for later. And I mean 2021. This short before first info... hm...

I 100% understand where you are coming from. A survey is generally a good thing but of they wanted to do some serious market research for your next game, I would have expected there to have been reps in PES forums showing they were listening to players. Instead what we saw was the closure of multiple PES forums.

yes you need some folks to fill the survey to get the message across BUT YOU ALSO NEED TO Combo this by NOBODY PREORDERING 2020 and we may start getting somewhere. (I will do the second part).
 
What we will never see: the results!!

I really really really would like to see them! And gimme all the data without email address!
Not gonna happen!!

Without the final product (be it 2020 or 2021) reflecting some of the users demand... or Konami publishing the results, we will never know if theses surveys are just to calm people down or really have an impact on development! Imo!!
