They should. If I install PES 2017 (PS4), are the official patches of Konami still available? Will they be installed automatically?
I bought Pes 10-14 a year ago and they're all there in the PS3

I couldn't recognize half of them
If people are choosing a particular football game or any other sport game purely on faces then that's why PES is where it is.
What pissed me off with fifa right now is the transfers I've seen playing Serie A.I'm so torn between the 2 games that I don't even know which one to play tonight.
Love the authenticity of those players with their real faces but seems the joy ends there; I can't imagine myself playing ML and say a player called Paul Pogba with price tag of £13,000,000; then we have all these fake and duplicate players.
Love all about FIFA, with its atmosphere, good commentary but the joy ends there; the amount of fake faces there in FIFA is just absurd! total bollocks! i.e. Frenkie de Jong, Jorginho, Škriniar, Fabinho, Arthur, Torreira, Malcom, Leon Bailey, Bergwijn, Chiesa, Kluivert, Pavard etc etc etc ...... and sooooo on.
This is definitely my pet peeve when it comes to interface, i like everything to be consistent and uniform in style. I actually preferred the ingame player renders on the formation screen, at least you knew who had a face and who didn't. But c'mon Konami, one or the other! It's just bloody jarring and i don't think anybody cares for real player images on the game plan, i hate it for one. Again, it's just a mish-mash of action shots and players pulling strange faces, why couldn't they at least use official squad photo's where they're looking straight at the camera, that looks presentable. If I was to talk about aesthetics, Id swap some faces for those little images in Game Plan. To me its very annoying to have half of the team with pictures and half without a "profile pic".
this is my thoughts since last patch too. With sliders some thing the Pes desperately needs I can play legendary and still not feel cheated when I lose. Currently in PES the AI just decides to win and that's it. Then there is all the variation in FIFARight now I'm enjoying Fifa 19 more, even though it's quite poor too,at least it's not killing me with scripting
Yeah I agree on the scripting part,it's horrible on Pes 19.this is my thoughts since last patch too. Exactly. I dont get this. You go to your team and when you flick through your squad you can see every player on the right. Why dont just take a mini picture of his face there? I mean - its not rocket science and its not that difficult. This is one of the reasons I dont use any Youth Players. Blank picture in Game Plan is doing my head in.why couldn't they at least use official squad photo's where they're looking straight at the camera, that looks presentable
and bring back those animated player models in the menu background! scratch that cheap looking animated fake bubbles we have right now! thats an animated menu for sure (,konami), but its ugly as hell! This is definitely my pet peeve when it comes to interface, i like everything to be consistent and uniform in style. It's one of those areas where modders on the PC version have corrected it and done a better job than Konami in that regards.
Dude i hate "the grey shiluets". What hurts me is that the mechanisms to avoid this are already in game or past games. This is definitely my pet peeve when it comes to interface, i like everything to be consistent and uniform in style. Damn, i completely forgot about this menu design. It's simple but you have the fancy bells and whistles of showing the detail of the game in the background. That's gotta be the best menu since PES 2011. Why they abandoned this for that wannabe Windows 8 abomination is another one for the pandora's box of baffling decisions at Konami.and bring back those animated player models in the menu background! scratch that cheap looking animated fake bubbles we have right now! thats an animated menu for sure (,konami), but its ugly as hell!
slow motion player models in the background (close up)!! that looked gorgeous!!
and Intros!! what happened to those (all sports video games)!?Damn, i completely forgot about this menu design. Although I must admit PES generic faces are so recognisable; just having 1 look and you can tell it's a generic ones.
this might be helpful for you mate!I spent a whole day on the weekend to hunt down faces for Martinez, Ribery, Robben and Coman to compliment my Bayern squad before I start a new ML season. Gnabry's face doesn't exist yet, Rafinha looks like shit but he's leaving anyway. I cannot for the life of me stand those generic Konami faces. Especially the ones with the half-mohawk hairdo drive me nuts, but replacing everyone with a photo face would take a lifetime.
Because they're fucking obsessed with changing things just for the sake of being able to tell that they changed something.Maybe they're affraid that if they don't change it then people will say that they're not doing anything and the game is the same.We have seen many examples of this all these years.Damn, i completely forgot about this menu design. What a turnover...

(did not edited a video, the game starts at 4:45)...
i like that sideways heading animation at 17:32 min!!
he really is into defending!
this might be helpful for you mate!
ussually you will find more videos for one player when searching for "PES XXX (*player name here) face editor" on YT!
when i just cant stand a face i go online and search for those videos to edit it later myself.
some faces look great, some need some polish by myself (Robben for example)! but it helped me a lot!
So it’s the “3 year recycling plan/revolution”! Now I get it! It all makes sense now.Because they're fucking obsessed with changing things just for the sake of being able to tell that they changed something.Maybe they're affraid that if they don't change it then people will say that they're not doing anything and the game is the same.We have seen many examples of this all these years.
They add something, then remove it,then may add it again after 2-3 years etc.
They're more into recycling than into bringing fresh new ideas and maybe that's because of the same limited dev team all these years.I hope the new staff they were hiring some months ago will pay off in Pes 20.
I mean i like most of the changes they bring in things like movement, animations etc in recent games, but for other stuff like menus and ML details etc that were better in the past,it would be better to stick on a main idea and improve it from there, without completelly removing or revamping things every year.
It's like they try to revamp things and start all over again every year just for the sake of it instead of sticking to a main plan and improve it from there(i guess they have a low Team Spirit in that aspect..)and because of this the game doesn't feel fully completed because it always lacks something that was already in in some previous version but now isn't.
I've just done this myself - the latest patch and DP3 are downloaded together when you install. If I install PES 2017 (PS4), are the official patches of Konami still available? Will they be installed automatically?
