PES 2019 Discussion Thread (PS4, XB1)

Been thinking, the white benching crap in myclub could be solved in a heartbeat if they judged your team rating on your top 11 players rather than the squad as a whole. Would fix it straight away.

It’s Konami. I see a patch note 2 days after patch release with “minor gameplay changes to ensure... bla bla”!

Doubt they will give us any info on gameplay changes. They might show a stadium or two and some faces but thats about it. They wont risk giving any gameplay changing tweaks in case it turns out to be lie or fucks something else up in process..
 
Faces and stadiums news drives me crazy...I couldn’t care less if Mbappe has his correct face

Fix the god damn AI.

Same with Ibrox - really couldn’t give a crap...it’s not going to make the game better having one or two extra licensed stadiums, we can’t assign them anyway and how many people actually play as Rangers? 100? 500? It’s bs.

I would rather Konami give us 10-20 brand new ‘fake’ stadia that we can assign to teams, a few with small capacities that we can assign to the likes of Burnley and Bournemouth.

There are too many Italian like Napoli-looking stadiums give us Sky Bet Championship/Premier League lovers some more content to play around with.

No pal...it's seems like that the game now got what i've mentioned before...i was trying playing on 0 and it was so fast in my opinion...back on -2 and it was like playing at 0

I saw new animation,especially for GK...and the ball physic had been touched imho....cursor is worst than never...this happend when i put the last Live Update a few days ago

But Konami solving something that would take a heartbeat which all of us can clearly see...that's another story.
 
The only way konami/EA etc will make solid and good games is if the EU/USA ban loot boxes.
No additional pay to these companies,no hiding bad features,poorly made games that really doesn't matter to the companies who makes them,since the money they earn from Myclub/FUT is the real income for them.

When a solid and good product is the only income,then we'll see good games

MyClub and Ultimate Team are the reasons why these games have barely progressed in a decade for FIFA and a bit less so for PES.

Like mentioned above, if laws in Europe, USA and Asia reflect my feeling that it is gambling and exploitative we may potentially see a return to progress in all modes not just this yearly Kit and Squad update which they charge you for now.
 
They not going to get away with it much longer. Laws are getting tighter and they are onto them.

Its about time. This whole ball spinning and hoping for black balls was blatant gambling. I actually cant believe they got away with it for so long. Its a different story to buy DLC with some Legends or stadiums, but this shit? Cant go more Casino style than this.

2k community is really out for blood.
Yeah,it's blatant gambling.
It's not enough anymore to buy a kid Pes/FIFA/2k without throwing in some money as well.

The new licensed leagues are good even if you dont play in them because it means different teams from those countries can qualify for the champions league/europa league.

Was looking forward to trying out the SPL so I started an away game against St Mirren, saw their huge colloseum type stadium and the whole thing felt pointless again
 
Funny thing with PES that in many ways makes me always coming back to it are those Little subtle things that pops up from time to time. Last night I had this quite generic match online PA1 against another Liverpool- guy (Liverpool seem to be the spammers team this year because of Salah/Mané on the wings I guess) with Roma, me trying to vary my football (sorry if I sound elitistic btw) an him spamming the throughball to his above mentioned wingers).

Anyway, at one Point I used a advanced high through ball from the wing heading towards Pastore just lurking outside the box. And he was all alone! So I could press :square: + :r2: a long time in advance and he did this lovely, slow, motion adjusting himself towards the ball before gently hitting the volley. The ball sailed perfectly towards the right top corner before Alisson got his fingers on it tipping it to a corner. Looked bloody Beautiful!

Lol, I remember tons of players, myself included begging for that fix going all the way back to the 2nd week of Pes 2015.

You know what's changed in MyClub since then... less competitions available to play, online scripting/momentum increased, duplicate players are a possibility, and guaranteed super boosted players available with microtransaction only coins.

Playing on -1 speed I find my players position better in defence, so ai makes more mistakes and my defenders intercept more ball. Ideally for me will be ai to make same mistakes if it was on 0 speed becouse -1 is really slow compared to previous pes games. I like the game on -1 speed also. Can`t wait for patch to drop becouse really on pitch pes is better game for me

Funny how some people like football game to play slow while others prefer it closer to table soccer.
Main reason i love gameplay on 19 is due to slow pace.
18 felt arcade to me and I didnt like it, even on a slow speed. Plus OP rocket shots on 18 at first were amazing but after a while it just didnt feel right.
19 nailed shoot power. You can still have a screamer but its also realistic.
Same with animations, pace and physicality on the pitch.
Played the other game last few days. Its fun but it doesnt have the same feeling to it.
Its not keeping me on the edge of a seat, plus, even on the slow speed, ball goes too fast from one penalty area to another. Very little build up.
Really looking forward to this patch.
 
Fixing the AI wont change the repetition of COM team play styles though, they will all still play in an identikit manner.
if you play Chelsea you want to be terrorised by Hazard because of his low centre of gravity, ability to stay on his feet, dribble at you, take snap shots from around the box, this just does NOT happen in PES, key players do not play anything like their real selves, they are pretty much the same as any other player in the Chelsea team.

And the shots, so boring, its always one of 3 types of shot, power smasher, instep curled shot or chip shot.
try dinking a little chip over the keeper as he rushes out and see it bobble into the net, nope. try a #passed' instep placed shot a la Henry style from edge of the box, nope.... all just generic, makes shooting feel tiresome.

I think PES 2019 has way too many poor points to even be considered in amongst the best footy games ever.
And next year will be no different, ML won't get any more attention, maybe a few more broken issues, we wont get a batch of smaller older stadiums, there won't be any new decent features to give ML some new life, it will be the same rinsed and repeated tired old mode, whilst everything gets ploughed into MyClub.

Konami just do not know how to make a proper football game anymore, maybe its a culture/japan thing but they get so many fundamental basics wrong, it needs stripping to the ground and rebuilding, by someone else.
 
Meh, i suscribed to Pesworld year ago, and i logged in for asking the permission to use their kits for my future OF.

I find a thread by a guy named TonySpike, he's been searching PEU/PLA/PAS clubs related countries (if you're not used to editing: some club have different banners langage than others, for example "Xakoul have greek generic banners, Serignaluca have portuguese banners, etc.)

I'm telling that i've used SmcCutcheon tool to check, telling him that i've made an exhibition match with EVERY teams to check the langage banners, and this guys answers me in an agressive tone. Like "you're like all people on Pesgaming that's why i don't post anymore there" "thinking that you're absolute truth" that "my english is terrible" that "i'm more here to tell what people should do instead of help"... And i pass.
I was just bringing fact, and saying that if he don't trust me, he could try the SmcCutcheon editor, checking by himself... Etc. ect. i'll pass all the detail but it was fucking agressive... So i won't came back to this forum because that guy piss me off and i can't ignore him... Never been agressed that much for a simple thing.

When i talk people like this, i really think that Evo and Pesgaming are probably the 2 best PES community around, at least the dialogue is open, nobody is agressive (just some trolling Konami here and here, but that's kind of funny)

So, sorry for the off-thread and talking about my (virtual) life nobody cares about, but now i've got a problem:
i really want to provide to the PES community an option with a database check, all faces remade for fake NT, correct fakes managers to their "real" counterpart IRL, Brasileirao etc.
I already made several faces, all fakes Euro/Africa/North America with high quality faces and corrected height/weight/stats, and i'm doing Asia right now.

But for the next step (clubs) i've got an issue, i've got all kits and the permission to use them from WEHK.

And i wanted the best kits around for clubs, and PESWORLD provides them since 4n63L doesn't create kits anymore.

Do you people know where could i find others good kits?

I've checked some others option file makers, but many of them use kits that aren't that good in the colors choice and general design (for my own taste).

@Chris Davies , where did you ask the permission to use their kits? Directly on twitter asking to Glenn?
