you guys, especially the full manual users, have you disabled auto feint in the personal settings!? i do so for years. anything changed reg. that!?
guess i'll have a look at it again after all this time...

autofeint disabled as a rule from the start.

as FUMA, i have indicators off and went through all 2018 like this but yesterday i put indicators on and i play better.

makes me wonder if matchmaking filter is PA based and my matched opponent could have indicators still enabled?

I'm getting a lot of 'unable to connect to user' on lvl's 3, 4 & 5.
Anyone else, or is it just my connection?

Some of my laggiest games have been on lvl 5. Thought it was suppose to be for the best connection lol

Hopefully in Master League/MyClub players accumulate fatigue over many matches. eg. If they play 3-4 in a row and they're on 70% stamina, it'll be a major risk selecting them in the starting 11 in case they get an injury.

I still haven't seen any injuries caused by collisions yet. Judging by some of the AI & online tackles I've seen some of them should've been sent to the morgue, nevermind the hospital :R1

I've never enjoyed how they implement this in leagues/tournaments. Players don't get tired after 4 games but towards the end of the season.

I've still not been able to play the demo which is killing me. Enjoying seeing some positivity though. Given I enjoyed 18 I'm really looking forward to playing this.

If you're searching with 'Similar' settings, the only thing matchmaking looks for is the passing. If you're on FUMA, your opponents can easily be using auto shooting, through balls, auto feints, and every other assist except passing.

Also, if searching for a PA1 game takes too long, it'll auto change matchmaking to search for PA 2 & 3 opponents.

Fair and balance is the name of the game for Konami :DUMMY:

Yes, and auto slide

I only turn auto slides off.
Auto feint is on, sometimes I use it, cause it's easy to pull off that Ronaldo chop... It looks so decent!
But maybe I should deactivate it and learn a few moves.

The pressuring people can do for the whole 90 minutes is ridiculous online... They hold a couple of buttons and get players automatically timing tackles, barging you off the ball etc. with pretty much zero stamina penalty.

When people try to play this in a realistic way with proper tactical setups and play styles, it can be incredible at times...

The online "meta" of PA3 Barcelona ping-pong bullshit and fucked up formations, not so much. Unless the matchmaking options and player count can allow you to find games with filters for PA0/PA1 with weaker teams then online 1v1 has almost zero appeal to me in this game.

Hopefully they fix that shit where people could play the online co-op modes on their own with 2 CPUs... 2018 played best online in co-op and team play modes IMO, but like 75% of co-op games you were playing against MyClub World XI CPU players...

I agree with Klash here. PES 2013 is the best football game along with FIFA 16, for me.
I can't figure out what happened to both companies after each of those games. The cards were on the table, the best football games in history were possible after that. But...

What's everyone thinking about patching the AI attack? Will it happen? I'm not complaining about conceeding goals as more often on not It's easily defended as it's quite predictable ..the open play goals I have conceded have been very similar

FIFA 16 is the benchmark for me for football games in the last 10 years. Hoping I can finally put it away with this years releases.

Yeah. I have it that way. Will try indicators.
edit: you meant directional guides or next player indicator? Cause I hate that indicator thing. Tried it last version. Not my thing. Convince me. ;)
Yes, and auto slide
It’s all off in my settings. Semi-switching. Manual team mate control.
Haven’t seen someone using it in a while...

Na. It’s all off! :)
I just can’t life with that feeling the player is doing something I did not wanted to do (intended) and it works, even more... giving me an advantage.
If I get one, I want to be the one that was in control. Hope you guys understand.
Du ja eh! ;)
Im very hyped :BOUNCE:
If demo is so cool, what's the full game will be...

Manual works perfectly this year, very enjoyable

Quick question. Are you playing all out manual? Like shooting, teammate control, player switching...? Or is it “just” PA0?

Please, before you do that, put some PES-ish in your comment! ;)

Can’t remember playing a sports game that old. Usually i go with the latest version. Maybe with golf games.

Then how can you say PES 2013 is not better than PES 2019 man?.
Basically, PES 2013 is Konami's FIFA 16. LOL.

I actually see some of PES 2013 in PES 2019, like... off-the-ball animations, some of the player reactions.

that s one in a million....

I don't make videos specifically to show that keepers can be beaten 1v1. It's very possible, it happens often and it's not very special to look at. I just happened to have a few of them uploaded, only because the play before the goals were nice.

It's been around every year.

The only thing I'd say that's different now, is the catch-up bug is toned down slightly.

manual pass, shots, through balls
switching semi assisted (only in attack)
team mate control semi-assisted (dont use it much)

Agree with everything said here. I can't see any of it changing though.

High pressure is simple to do. You take more than 1 touch most of the time, and you'll lose the ball. The overly assisted pingpong is Konami's counter to it.

People have always been able to create daft formations ala 5-0-5 formations, because passing allows/promotes end2end gameplay.

Good luck finding games online against fellow 'weak' teams. There is no filter in normal online, and MyClub players fill their bench with 50 rated players on low team lvl's so their 1st 11 can be stocked with superstars. With the current fatigue/stamina system - who needs subs anyway?

The Co-op on the demo only lets you play 1P & 2 COM vs 3 COM. If that's not an indication of no change, I don't know what is.

Changes here that don't need a quantum physics degree to make. Some are so simple, but they remain unchanged year after year unfortunately.

So have been playing some more PA1 matches online tonight and I gotta say it's good. BUT! And that's a big but(t) (sorry, I had to...) it's still just a TAD bit too assisted. Crap! They are so close to really nailing this!

I didn't like any of the PES games from 2008 - 2018. The shooting, the way they moved, fouls, AI etc... If I had pick one I suppose it would be 2011. PES 2019 has something about it though that reminds me of the older PS2 games. See how it turns out in a couple of weeks...

A tad bit too assisted which a major issue to me, passing on pa1 is just too assisted so does basic shooting.

Strangely enough I'm having more fun playing the co-op mode on my own than any other mode in the demo. Matches are intense and the Ai feel more dynamic when playing cooperative. I have zero interest in online and exhibition just feels unexciting.

To me the only difference between PA1 and PA3 seems to be that on PA3 it assists the power much more, so even with a small tap it will fire the pass into feet with more pace.

This has almost no downside... The first touch control is just as perfect, and they are much harder to intercept. The only time I see PA1 being an advantage is for deft lay-offs for a cross or shot.

PA1 doesn't really give you freedom to be more creative/varied than PA3, it just gives you more freedom to cock things up more often and have your passes intercepted.

From now on I'll probably play on either PA3 or PA0...

playing defense is great, I love defending and controlling the game from the back, this has been lacking in this generation of PES. Looks like it may be back

I'm exactly the same, hence the username. Looking forward to trying this when I get home. My cousin who is a FIFA player since the PS2 days said after trying the demo: "my word, never thought I'd see the day, that is actually impressive". This was surprising to say the least. If people who hate all recent PES games are seeing something in it then that is a pretty good indicator they've got something right, I just have a bad feeling that it will be the 2018 beta all over again.

Played two games tonight and didn’t enjoy any of them.
I was tired and pissing around with camera angles so that’s probably why.
Really hard to get a good camera angle on PES. Love the broadcast until it flicks to far side and back making your eyes mess up.
Mentioned it before but what’s with the AI doing overhead kicks to clear my crosses. Put in 3 crosses in a row and all were cleared by over head or scissor kick. It’s so annoying.

So it seems like the Italian league will not be fully licensed yet, maybe the negotiation is still going on between both companies. And honestly I don’t know why the Italians will want to settle for an exclusive deal when they can get more money by having both companies pay for it.
