PES 2019 Demo Impressions Thread

Thanks all. Downloading...... on wifi. Why does everyone else have to use it at the same time? Only 6 MB/sec.:CENSOR:
 
I go into my Steam page , in search box type Pro Evolution and a drop down list appears and under the link to the pre order page is the link to the demo but when I hit it , nothing happens I thought maybe my page is frozen so I hit the link above and I'm taken to the pre order game I go back and hit the demo link again, nothing happens.

I just scored from a flicked, looping header and the 'keeper did that slow, two handed barely stretching flop of an attempt at a save. Very little satisfaction in scoring a goal in this game once again. The game is just not deep enough to give me a satisfying 1 player experience. The small flaws people are seeing in the demo will become big flaws if left in the full retail product. Seen it all before last year.
PA, GK's. Comp AI all need major work imo. I am not being fooled again.
Good luck to those who are enjoying the demo. It is better than last years game, and there are some good moments to be had. It is just, for me, it still feels shallow and unfinished in too many areas.

Just search Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 demo on Steam, you should be able to download it.
 
Thought I'd been awarded a penalty in my very first game of the demo. Ref blew up and looked like it was just inside the box, but only won a free kick Must have been outside by a knat's knacker- unless the ref shafted me. Suppose he'd already booked Viniscius Junior for diving when I'd totally took him out in the box, so can't complain .

Good stuff though, nice to have a bit of aggro in the game.

Good ai preventing lazy PES 2018 type passes is good and like the way the cpu will prevent you from playing out from the keeper.

Lack of freedom with the passing on PA1 a bummer though

I do! I posted issue couple of pages before but no solution. Are you using PS4 slim as well? And are coolers working overtime on it? I only noticed because it never happened before and I can hear coolers working now. Was trying to find a way to fix it but no luck and I was worried it was only me.

I'm using PC version. When it happens I open Nvidia Overlay and close it and the shadows are gone but they return later. Sometimes it's a very dark shadow over the complete pitch and sometimes a silhouette of the players in white. So annoying -.-

edit: Well, good to know I'm not the only one.
 
Ok only 1 game played but enough time to see the L1 problem, some say its only a demo but surely one of the basic parts of the gameplay engine should be working corrrectly. Opposition attacking down the wing, just outside the 18yrd box 12 yrds from byline, the winger passes it into an attacker in my box he's 12 yrds out from byline and about 3 yrds in front of my 6 yrd box. I have a defender 3yrds behind him another defender in line with 1st one but he's at the other END of 6 yard box. I hit L1 to highlight 1st defender 3 yrds behind this attacker who the ball is played into, as I say I hit L1 once and my control icon does not go onto my first defender but onto my other one at the Opposite End of the 6 yrd box, took 3 hits of L1 to get defender closest to the attack before the Control Icon came onto him. Same problem seen in PES18
 
I'm playing at Camp Nou and the shadow glitch doesnt happen, so maybe its only at the Veltins Arena? though I did change my render settings back to medium, will keep testing, perhaps its just a Veltins thing

Nope, happens at Camp Nou as well but not that crappy like in Veltins Arena. I played a match in Camp Nou, went to Replays and switched to Firmino -> then switched to Tele View again and a silhouette of Firmino is all over the full pitch. Unplayable :)
