play world soccer winning eleven 7 on PS2, should cure that feeling.i reinstalled pes 2017 on pc yeaterday just to try a couple of matches and the game feels totally repetitive to me now at leeast on pa1, cpu on superstar have laser guided passing and game suddenly picks up pace for the worse when cpu has the ball somethinf that turned me off completely i m not touching the game anymore after those couple of matches i played, the speed of passing is outrageous simply so bad and unrealistic
i can't be the only one who wants 45min games my 30min games are feeling shorter today.. 10min is a just a taste..... Also people do nothing but bitch about demo only being 10min..But it won't be a conclusive poll of the entire PES player base. The audience on here and other PES related forums are passionate about PES, we all try different things to make the game as enjoyable to us as possible. Most of us will immediately change the difficulty, the game time and the camera settings when we first jump in.
The average PES player will not. They'll want to play a ten minute game of football after school or work and enjoy it for what it is. I think we're asking for a lot for Konami to consider the effects of longer or shorter matches - they have the numbers, they will know what game time is played the most and cater to that.
Do we have a complete stadia list? just curious about that. Do we know if we can use non european stadia for the master league?

You are unfortunately right about that. My friends who are just casual football fans plays 10 mins match mostly in PES 2017. They want open-ended attack oriented match for those 10 mins and they can't be arsed to play proper football or want a really tough challenge from the CPU. They love good looking goals(aka goals from ping pong tiki taka passing or long shots) and they don't like to be close down, fouled by the CPU as it breaks their flow. Sound familiar? This is your average PES player. We are not. We gotta deal with it. We gotta deal with the positioning issue. We gotta deal with CPU not fouling and pressuring the player. We gotta deal with open-ended attack oriented match. We gotta deal with Metersacker catching up with Bale. We gotta deal with ping-pong lazer guided pass. We gotta deal with lazer guided shooting. The game is made to be suitable for 10mins match which the average PES players play in. It's not a choice we have. We gotta understand we are the minority because when it comes to business, it's all about the sales, not about how PES potrays real life football. Because let's be honest, PES 2017 doesn't even remotely resemble real life football. We just gotta deal with it and hope that they add something worthwhile or just don't buy PES. FIFA is even worse so there is no alternative.
What makes me more of a troll then you? or anybody here? just doing same shit as everybody here......... talking about PES 2018........why wasn't i a "troll" last month? But today a "troll"? Nonsense post!
Ok, just don't say anything that's negative, or what you feel looks bad? Just positive post? If nobody post about negative things it would never get better. You love PES?
I tend to enjoy 20 minute matches the most but sometimes you just want to get ML matches out of the way quickly so switch to 10min.i can't be the only one who wants 45min games my 30min games are feeling shorter today.. 10min is a just a taste..... The only thing that will stop me from buying PES 2018 is scripting and catch-up bug. I can deal with the positioning issue but I don't wanna feel cheated or can't outpace Mertesacker with Bale.
I think you're over estimating. It's always been pretty clear that people want an 'out of the box' game, it's apparent in comments, feedback and in sales. Yes, it's easy for us to apply an option file to adjust the kits and names etc. but people simply don't want to do it, it's added work when all they want to do is grab the game, stick it in their console or PC and then play for an hour or two.
hahaha... same here. i'm not suprised anymore when i tell my fifa buddys about the posibilities in fifa!Agreed, i don't know another person who customises anything in their football games other than option file. Almost all of my mates play FIFA and not a single one has touched the sliders, they probably don't even know they're there to be honest. None of them touch or know about the different control levels (semi etc) and none change the game speed.
The vast, vast majority treat a game as "just a game" (which it is).
There's no looking for a simulation, and no further analysis. It's fun or it isn't.
Joe Public puts the disc in and that's about it. They're not looking to piss around with settings to make it better, or complain about their experience if they can't. They will either play it, or they won't play it, and that'll be the end of their experience.
Those of us who pick apart trailers and desperately look for improvements in simulation and the related sense of achievement when playing the game... We've got mental problems, let's be honest. To dedicate so much time and effort into producing comparisons and essays. It is only a game.
But that doesn't stop the desire...
I'm actually glad Weedens released that video when he did as some of the clips from gameplay camera of the game in motion don't just look good, they quite honestly look staggering in some cases precisely because of the player movements. Sure, I bet you will look to isolate a player, draw a big red circle or arrow around him and say "LOOK!" but the fact is to most untrained eyes those could all pass as very realistic passages of play.
hahaha... same here. i'm not suprised anymore when i tell my fifa buddys about the posibilities in fifa!they just insert the disc, choose teams and head straight into the match. dont get my started on skipping every replay scene or entrance ceremony... ^^
I have lost some respect for Weedens the past 2 years. Whilst his video-editing skills to present PES the best possible way are undeniable, I cannot trust that guy anymore. For PES 2016 and 2017 he released some awesome videos like he's doing this year which were very edited and very misleading for me. I remember thinking "WOW finally Konami got the color palette right! Vibrant colors! The pitch looks awesome!" and when I got to play the game myself, it didn't look like that at all (regarding the topics I mentioned).
That is wrong, in my opinion. If you are going to help promote the game (even if he is not OFFICIALLY working for Konami, he kinda is) you can still showcase how everything looks and make people rave about it without tuning the final looks of the game. That's misleading on purpose.

that's the best way to approach any game. makes you enjoy it more instead of looking for what you desire it to be.The vast, vast majority treat a game as "just a game" (which it is).

My biggest issue with Konami and EA is how uppity and downright disrespectful they are to the customers.
Nowadays we have only two games and both of them do have some unforgivable problems.
This is the sort of language that I think some forum members have a problem with when it comes to addressing Konami, and what leads to Adam and Asim treating feedback as insults (which results in them listening to nobody). Also people who are judging the early PES 2018 videos are comparing this pre release period to the last 2 or 3 where if you look the stuff up, Were nothing short of a disgrace regarding distorting the truth and producing inferior versions.
...
IMO there are some hardcore fans who expect too much from companies like Konami or EA.
Again, I want what you want, but saying it's "laziness" is more insulting than it is constructive.I think the only bad practice from Konami with PES is that they don't allow much customize able. There are no sliders so you can't tweak your gameplay preference like you can with FIFA. And I think that is that way due to laziness.
