Yeah, i've just been a little all over the place with things and haven't focused solely on just doing tactics, i have loads done but i have a new method of doing them but i'm caught in two minds if to do the original method or new.

I've found some interesting things out also regarding pressure.

I am still getting hammered online always conceding in the first 10mins still getting dispossessed at the back and unable to defend at all. I used to be able to cover passing lanes but now my players seem too slow and take an eternity to turn around compared to more fleet footed attackers.

Not sure what is going on tbh we talking 7-1 scorelines odd thing is it wasn't like this a week or 2 ago.

I’ve always been fascinated by the way PES managed to capture firstly the first ever inertia in a football game, but also the body balance, shifting of weight, drop of a shoulder, but most importantly the ability to replicate true football physics.


Those who have played me online know I love to try the outrageous, or try to mimic the way my mind works in real life on the park.


This combination of so many different techniques is what I love the most about PES, very difficult in real life, and likewise on PES, but when you get everything right, technically, it’s so rewarding.


Not so much here, “Close but no cigar” as they say, but still, poetry in perpetual motion. And those who love the Dribbling aspect of the game (Zeemeister for one) can truly appreciate everything that went into this.....

Something is seriously wrong here as I always needed a moment of magic to ever get in behind you buddy.
 
Lovely stuff Jimmy pity it couldn't sneak in at the far post. 2 players you must try and get are Odegaard and O. Abdulrahman. Love the way Konami have managed to make smaller players who aren't necessarily pacey but with good dribbling so much more effective

On the online defensive front. Yeah I am as leaky as an old rusty faucet atm. Just lost another game 4-1. All the goals conceeded are the same way. I get caught out in possession and one long pass and I am screwed. Pacey strikers are gone once the ball is behind the defence.

Either i start playing more direct or I find a way to never lose the ball or find a way to make a deep lying CB sweeper. I wish Konami never removed the good ole libero position.

The thing that makes absolutely no sense with Konami is they improve their core fundementals very well then simply fuck up the areas they already had nailed on. Two steps forward two steps back. Ridiculous really. Don’t fix what ain’t broken.
 
Hi everyone. I currently use two Option Files in combination: FBNZ+Pesuniverse. But i have a question: Will the upcoming Gameplay patch by KONAMI destroy and delete all option files (kits, logos, names etc.) or will everything remain?

Gameplay patch usually doesn't destroy OF.
 
How do you switch to a regular two man kick off?

Also when I kick off, 90% of the time my pass doesn't go where I aim, instead it goes straight through to the defenders who are forced to leave their position and make up for the incompetent team mate in front of them.

I have some really good tips for this version of PES. I will upload videos to show you bud.

I will keep this brief, but every PES has a new philosophy of football it endeavours to mimic, from individuality, to favoured foot, to inertia from PES 10, then to greater emphasis on body balance, angles, technique based results replicated etc etc. I really enjoy working out what they have focused on every year, as it's always a welcome new addition. Not always perfect in its execution, but still, nonetheless another very welcome addition to help re-create the beautiful game as much as physically possible from a fundamental technique replication. And they tune these features with every new release. Yes they stupidly miss out the shit that works on occasion, but hell, we are all used to that now even if we will never understand it.

After finding ML very samey at times, I've realised this version is all about the vision, the reading of the game and more than anything, awareness on the park. A massive skill in football.

Slow the pace down, don't chase down the opponent in packs, otherwise you just get passed of the park.

This new system wants you to think, it even has this new highlight bar above your non-controlled player that you can take control of next.

The Pressure and CPU Pressure has finally been tamed down.

I now look at where I feel the CPU will look to pass, not pressure myself, but let my CPU player press whilst I read the options the CPU may play. It's worked wonders, and its very on point with regards the skill of reading the game. Button mashing shouldn't be rewarded, the football brain should.

I will post some video's of what I'm talking about.

Also, the CPU hates the offside trap on both counters and FK's.

One last thing, I need to work out this PS4 record shit, I scored my greatest goal ever, a six man dribble that wasn't captured on the highlights followed by a ridiculous strike. Fucker.

I also have the Manual Chip with R2 pass, high, no pace and backspin recorded.

@Jimmy G-Force i posted this recently on the ML thread regarding recording on PS4...

What I do when recording is...

1. Press the ‘Share’ button. That brings up a left panel.

2. Then press ‘Share’ again. The left panel dissapears and the recording will start from then.

3. To finish recording, press ‘Share’ again so the left panel appears.

4. DONT FORGET to save that recording by pressing ‘Square’ because if you don’t and press the ‘Share’ button again that recording will be deleted and a new one will start!

5. I normally do this at the end of each half and then edit it all in Share Factory. :)

Thanks buddy, but it was the dribble I was getting so excited about recording, but it just kept going so I couldn’t stop, and then that thunderbolt happened.

Heh heh those boots were made for walking.

The amount of times i have pressed the Share button once and then pressed it again because there was a delay and then it didnt record because i pressed it twice. So so annoying.

Stride size control, against the stride of the defender's, making it awkward for them



The way there defender got up immediately after lying in the floor for a tackle.. That's didn't look realistic. I wish they increase the time it takes for sometime to get up from the floor. In a real match, defenders only get one chance, there's no second chance redemption really. Just gotta read the ball very well and make sure the tackle gets the ball (or at least). Or make a foul on purpose. There's no "tackle, get up, track him again "... Real defending don't work like that, if u go on the floor, u are out of the equation.
