Why are you being annoying? Are you going to ask these questions to everyone complaining about something in PES now?
 
Yeah I am scared to respond these days on Evo-web this high level of tolerance we have for trolls and victimisation of members who are pro PES is a bit shocking.

Not sure where it stems from but imo it needs to stop.

I loved Evo web for the non PC (politically correct) discussions now you have to tippy toe around admins and can't speak your mind.

Go ahead and close the thread for a few days again. It's what the non fans want.

I buy an album. I listen to it and 48 minutes later I come to the conclusion it is the best album I have ever heard.

Months down the line I stagger across an article which details that it sold 1/10th of the amount another artists album that was released around the same time did. I also read that the album performed better in some territories than it did others; also learn that the album cost considerably less to make than other albums. It sold a couple of million copies.

How should that information impact me personally?

I go on a music discussion forum and find a thread talking about the album and I read a post from someone who says that the sales and cost of production of the album mean it can't compete in the market. The artists have long since come out and congratulated fans, saying that it was all for us and tge sales achieved mean they can make more albums and hopefully further improve.

Should I like the album album less? Am I an apologist for the album and the artists who recorded it?
 
I think negative comments here impact You on a personal level :D

I mean we all love PES, for most of us its part of our life as we had many memories with it with friends, with family, alone. And now even someone with his own kids.

And yeah the game changed a lot and there might be something we dont like and we will bitch about it occasionally everytime Konami's PR segment mention something promising for us and its not there or its not there on the level we expected.

Personaly shooting variety like in the PS2/PSX days. Also when you see there is variety in headers and ID when it gets to dribbling. So..?

Yep I've been wanting to post how I keep trying Advanced Shooting and how I find that about 98% of my shots are always on target regardless of the players body position. Yes there are some great animations and different types of shots but when I finish the game with 13 shots on target out of 14 (not all goals obviously) it bugs me a bit. Just my opinion and I'll keep it to myself in case someone gets a hit man out on me. ...Oops :P

you do seem to get agitated by people having issues with the game that they want to discuss.

We all want pes 2018 to be the best it possibly can be. if we all just mindlessly praise it and pretend the beta was perfect then the series will struggle to improve and evolve because konami will assume everything is great..

people are allowed a voice.

your opinion matters too and your posts are interesting :)

Whether it's enough is another question - I think it needs tweaks and for shots to be able to go further high or wide in the first place - but if you feed back that there's none at all then Konami will quite rightly read that as hyperbole and probably assume you've not played 2018. With manual and especially advanced shooting I saw highly charged shot attempts become scuffed, scruffy or tame in execution, the ball curling towards or away from the goal to some extent and the keeper often either cleaning up the weak shot or watching the ball wide. As I said before, I even had a complete airshot as Giroud (I think) attempted a scissor kick off a not particularly fast moving cross.

Advanced shooting is great because it offers so many more trajectories than manual or basic. It's still flawed and the objective should be to make basic and manual match or better advanced shooting's current level of diversity, but right now if you want to see more shots loop or fade or skim then advanced leads the pack.

Agreed. We all want PES to be good, if somebody has a problem with the shooting, then that is fine.

Better more contextualised shooting & more English stadiums and i'm a happy man. Its the simple things.

How can you state that as fact? European league is not the be all and end all
If Konami can't get European licenses it means they should not bother with any at all?
Please be serious. They have Ligue1 and eredivisie and almost all of serie A and unfortunately can't get la liga who BTW they had every team and stadium for before ea broke the bank they can't get Bundesliga and the holy grail that is the EPL.
Having la liga for a while didn't raise their sales to new heights.

I'm actually stoked that they go for broke with Brazil/Chile/Argentina even though I always play Serie A and b,hoping that it remains untouched
 
PES 2018: Fans spot something incredible after the PES 2018 box is leaked
PES 2018 fans have managed to get their first look at the box art for the game.
And it didn’t take long for them to spot some significant information.
A close inspection of the small print on the back of the box reveals some details about the game’s partnerships and licences.
Of the licences listed, Arsenal football club and the Japanese Football Association (JFA) are both mentioned.
Arsenal was one of the few clubs who allowed Konami to use their kits and badges in the last game, so their inclusion isn’t a surprise.
But the JFA is a huge coup, especially given that FIFA 18 developer EA won’t be featuring the Chinese Super League.
Konami has been busy snapping up licences around the world.
Last week, the Japanese developer secured an exclusive in-game license and marketing agreement with CR Vasco da Gama, one of Brazil’s most popular football clubs.
As part of the partnership, fans will be able to play their favorite Vasco da Gama players as well as play matches at the club’s home stadium, Estádio São Januário, which will all be exclusively featured in PES 2018.
Other exclusive premiere licensed clubs from Brazil that will be showcased in PES 2018 includes: Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (Corinthians), Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (Flamengo).
Brazil’s most famous tournament Campeonato Brasileiro of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) will also be included.

I answered some pages ago. Europe is too expenisive for them. It's fact. It doesn't matter why it's facts. I didn't say they should not bothers with any at all, its yours words. They invest in south america because they can but in Europe is too expensive for them. I mean that Europe market is the bigest and the strogest in particular in football area and if they really want compete here they should invest more money. They had big chance do get Bundesliga and lose it. Do you know why Ea want all these exclusive in europen leauge? why do you think? becasue they know that here is the bigest clubs, the best football leagues and the bigest market to sell their product. Why they don't make this exclusive in Chile? becasue they want invest more money in Europe because milion will buy their product. Only in England their sell 6 milion copies. In Germany 3 milion.Two European countries will give them aroun 9 milion copies. Pes will sell 2 milion in all of the world. What are you talk about. Its facts.

question:
i checked on the PES2017 demo release date and gamescom schedule last year. the 2016 gamescom was held from august 21th-24th 2016. the demo arrived august 24th in stores.
so when this years gamescom event is from august 22nd-26th 2017, am i right to assume that the demo is about to hit stores on august 31rd?!
i just want to make sure i have a few days of from work so i can play this baby! i need to request my vacation at least 2 weeks ahead.

Hi Deco, i only played the Beta a few times but decided to give it a break as i knew i would be dissapointed when the servers go down.

So instead i continued with PES2017 ML which i have been enjoying again, playing in Champions League for the first time and stuff. And was experimenting with Advanced Shooting as i mentioned in previous post. It is ok but as i said, for me, most shots on target regardless of who i am controlling and player position. On Manual i can hit the corner flag or shoot backwards but on Advanced i just have to shoot and the player will spin and aim at goal. As i said, its just not for me although the extra different types of shots are better albeit on target most times.

Then i played PES5 with my brother and had some good fun on that. I then found a new option file for it, i made slight adjustments to stats and started a ML.

Been really enjoying it, because i am still seeing things happen that don't always happen in the game. With regards to CPU shooting, the player had a shot from about 25 yrds out which looked like it was going over but suddenly dipped at the last minute and hit the crossbar. I literally shouted out 'wow!' I had to pause and watch it a few times because i know that the CPU wont have another shot like that for a while (not with the same outcome anyway). When i have a shot, it really depends on positioning and things. If i press square too soon sometines the shot will trickle to the GK because my player was too far from the ball. There are other things like Stamina which really affects the game and what subs you make. Yes it is very dated and i have to give myself a few handicaps, like no double press, not bring GK out, only 'X' header when i clear a ball etc.... But seeing things that are making me LOL. Which i havent done with PES for a while.

So i suppose the reason ive gone a bit quiet is that i havent anything to say about PES2018 at the moment. I have ordered it but when i play it i may even avoid this forum for a while because people will find fault in places that i never noticed before. Which will ruin the game for me.

Saying europe = money and talking about how Konami aren't able to compete isn't a critique of the game, the shooting or whatever though, is it?

If people are of the opinion the shooting is off, for example, it isn't because of a marketing and promotional budget.

That was UK only, I believe.

But again, fact or not, how does that directly impact on your enjoyment of the game? Does a 40:1 sales gap in one territory, however much money is in that territory, directly impact the quality of the shooting thus your enjoyment?

Should I start listening to Justin Beiber and Nikki Minaj because they compete for sales better than The Brian Jonestown Massacre?

Do you consider what is being produced by EA or Konami to have any artistic merit? Very simple question.

Nice one Geeee . .looks like you're enjoying youself playing Pes 5 with your bruvver .. .why not? Regarding pes 2018 I always make my own mind up about a game so I'll be on here talking shite as usual when it comes out.. I had one player on Super striker who had an incredible shot . .good memories . .take it easy bud.
 
The point is that people aren't buying the game because they aren't enjoying it. It's not the other way round.

Their lawyer team probably warns them that if a single brick looks like one in actual Old Trafford, they will get a lawsuit. And they would probably not be too far off.
