PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

Good to see that live update works.
Started out seeing Glik was registered to Torino,live update put in As Monaco,as he should be
 
What a game. This is the PES I've been waiting for since late 2007. Couple of early niggles though. Power bar seems to fill up too quickly on shots and crosses. And, as other have noted, shorts look a bit silly and the turf could use a little fertilizer.
 
yeah the live update stuff is promising. Set up an exhibition match, Liverpool against Arsenal. Liverpool had the exact starting team against Leicester, Lucas in defense and everything.
 
I've been streaming the game for the past couple of hours and I have to say, it's different from the demo. Granted, I haven't tried any exhibition games but in Master League it feels a lot slower on 0 speed and the CPU AI aren't as frantic and hectic on defense as they could be on the demo.

I'm playing on Top Player at the moment and find it much, much easier than on the demo and in the four ML games I've played so far (with Liverpool, but still), I've rarely felt threatened by the CPU attackers whereas on the demo, most games ended 0-0 for me.
 
Please can someone point me to where to order the option file on pes universe? Every one is taking about getting it but I can't even find where to order it on their site! !!!
 
Recieved mail from Pesuniverse. I can download the OF. It is not completed yet, but they will update without additional costs.
Question for Klashmann: are your teamtactics already applied in this betaversion? If not: any idea when they will be? Them being part of the OF was THE reason for me to buy it.

I have reported this earlier, I hope that tweaking their tactics would make them attack more, quit sitting deep in their own six yard box all game and perhaps make the goalie come out a little.
 
I'm pretty speechless,I feel the same magic as I did back with PES 5-6.
This game plays so well,did some editing in tactics,and like I said,speechless.
Had my first game Roma vs Lazio,at Olimpico,at night,in the rain.
Guess who doesn't need viagra...

Lol ... . .is it that good Rock? I should get to play it later.
 
Managed to get online over lunch, and tried out a match on myClub.

Visually, there's no lag. But in reality, there's a fucktonne of input lag. Dribbling past someone (on purpose) is impossible because you're having to predict where the other guy will be in a second's time.

No point in trying to play actual football either, check this out - 30 seconds of me trying to hold the ball and patiently look for gaps, followed by 8 seconds of him pressing "through-ball" and scoring:



The entire game, he was pressing the "pressure" button, and it didn't affect his players at all (in-fact he ended up scoring 3 goals in the last 15 minutes with players who should have been dead on their feet by that point).

Every time he had possession, he'd just press "through-ball" to a winger or a striker, and he'd usually end up with a goal at the end of it.

I don't know why I expected it to be any different this year, but...

Total waste of space online.

are the servers ok for everyone else. Just spent an hour trying to load game up, tried to apply live update but just get error messages after 5mins

I read somewhere that because the servers are playing up, the game is trying to contact them and its slowing things down. Disconnect from the internet and the game will stop trying to do that apparently.

Cant confirm and check as im in the middle of installing that PESGaming file.

yeah like last year! if you dont want to play online just disconnect from the servers!

the update gets lost when not online?! for sure!? doesnt make sense to me. i can test it only later today.

This is my hope, if you're saying what I think you're saying - i.e. if you apply the option file and THEN update it, the transfers and the form changes are applied but the edited data stays.
 
Had a couple of matches in Online divisions with PA 1 and similar settings just to se how it was (before going to manual again).

+ didn't notice any disturbing lag (had it set to 3+ when searching).
+ spammers not THAT succesful.

- PA 1 is still way to assisted.
- Had to play Barca all four matches...

Better than last year but it's still gonna be manual passing + similar settings for me.
