Hi geeee

I am also seeing impotent AI on Top Player, although I play with PA1 instead of manual. I have a Premiership league going as Arsenal and I've only had about 6 shots on target against me in 4 games. I pummelled Man Utd with 70% possession and they didn't manage a single shot on target.

I hope this corrects itself.

I think this could easily be implemented again if Konami let's us free select the controllers to the side or to the middle. Why should the game decide were each controller goes? Juce always makes a nifty little program called free side select that enabled that in PES PC version. Why can't KONAMI do that for the PS4 version?
This game is soooo good, that I really want to play it how I like to play it (like in the old days). The above is a restriction of joy.
Is there any mail address that the PES guys and girls read and to which I could send a request for a patch (free style select or triangle-assitant in every mode)? And anyone of you with me in this? Or am I the only one who likes to play more teams than 1 in a league (switching playing styles!)?

Yeah waited and used that. It takes about 20 mins to update 10 teams at a time then took maybe another half an hour to rename all the leagues, add logos, and put in the correct ball etc. But it's done and happy to start ML now.

The work done was phenomenal especially creating the Bundesliga players.

It's an ancient bug, this was already the case in PES 5.
 
Wow. Something that irritated me was that if you go all out attack then it simply just sends your tallest centre back forward, a la Fifa. This is great in the dying minutes if you want pump the ball into the box, but sometimes you want to put pressure on in the last twenty minutes or so to pull one back.

Turns out, you can select exactly the players you want to join the attack when the set to the highest attack level! I set De Bruyne to join the attack (could have changed the formation, I know) and there he was, breaking through the defense on two opportunities to score.

There were games that I feel like I could win ball possession too easily, but I think that has a lot to do with the team you play against. In a away match against Santos FC, they had many, many shoots on goals from inside and outside the box, and most of them came from Lucas Lima wich seemed to be easily the most dangerous player, a proper use of player individuality from CPU.

One addition I teally love this is the four different levels of defence/attack attitude, its very useful and it creates that feeling that, just like in real life, in the same match you can have different moments where a team has more attitude, ball possession and attacking plays than other and, accoding to the match context, it can be totally switched to the other team, that is, the team that is playing very defensively suffering pressure from opponents attack is now the team that dominates possessik and goes on attack to desperstly score. This is very lifelike, it happens very oftenly on big matchs and its something PES SEEMS to deliver it this year brilliant. It the type of shit that Goliath really can provide (sorry).

As for my online experienfe so far, as Ive said here many times, I dont care mucb about ranks, points, myclub and shit like. For it doesnt worth the time being stressed by matchs that count points as football games, imo, never offered a fair and balanced gameplay.

Im more like a masochist. I dont go online to challenge people, but to challenge myself. Id like to see how well I play on manual against assisted players. Its a masochist hobby that Ive been doing since FIFA 09 playing unranked matchs.

The first day of my online adventure was terrible. Ridiculously lagged and I simply couldnt do anything, I was easily being beaten by 4x0, 5x1 etc. Initially I thought manufal ve assisted was even more unbalanced this year.

But that first impression on my first day is something from the past. Last night I played like 10 matchs or more. Some few matchs were almost lag free, some still felt a bit unresponsive and lagged, but it was a tottaly different experience. I won some, lost some and draw many matchs. No math was high scoring. I think I readapt myself to how an online match against human must be played, I felt like the matchs allowed me to be creative on the field and for that reason the experience was terrific! I really hope the online experience doesnt suffer from this inconsistency.

Whew! I tried manual against assisted users online as I was tired of waiting for manual users and the games were so awful.
They were ping pong passing as hell.
I refuse myself going back to PA1 just to have online matches.
So anyone on here on PS4 who is up for some full manual games please add me.

I can only recommend playing PA0.
This game didn't click on PA1 to me but it did on full manual! That's my personal experience only though.
PA1 is way too accurate and hurts my eyes.
Plus, as I stated earlier - maybe it's placebo - with manual the game gains more freedom.
Wish there were manual players out there, specially on myclub.
Need to master manual before I start playing against assisted users.
So add me you sexy full manual people!

Just played Real Madrid in the Champions League, Top Player, PA1.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with this game? In the final third, the AI has NO IDEA what to do. Ronaldo just ran in a straight line, as did most of the forwards, and holding down X dispossesses the AI about 85% of the time. I'm so disappointed.

Contextual and not letting power bar go up so much as it relates to elevation of the shot.

It's something that is cropping up from more and more users in forums now as people have had some time to compare the full game to what they experienced in the demo, I felt the AI was more potent and inventive, unpredictable and a bit more deadly on the demo.

It does seem that a small but growing collective of people are unhappy with the AI difficulty and chance creation at least on Top Player and Superstar.
 
Not had any problems with the AI on Top player personally. Im not the greatest player, but the AI still creates, changes tactics/attack levels appropriately... they chase the game, they will kill it if leading (ie sit in the corner).

Last night for example, Juve literally tore me apart for one half, ive never seen pace like it, quick, direct, just chucking it at me. Took a 1-0 lead, 2nd half they settled down a bit and I was relieved when Higuain left the pitch as he was dictating everything.

The only time ive seen a team be anemic as such is Dinamo Zagreb as they setup to frustrate and nick a point. Which they did and I accept that as its contextual to the situation, just like what a team of that sort would do and in the end, if I broke them down, im sure they would have come out more.

I created a proper 2nd account rather than guest account. If it was only me logged in, the game worked fine in exhibition/versus mode but the issue arose when 2 controllers were on.

I then added this second account as a sub account of mine and gave it it's own psn log in

Then I went into my main account, sub account, parental controls and allowed user generate content (it is set to block as default)

This solved the issue and I can now play with my fully edited prem championship, la liga, bundesliga etc with 2 players locally. The only issue I have - and it's not really an issue, is that with live updates on, the Bundesliga resets the number of teams and adds PES united etc back in there so there are additional teams other than just the 18. Other than that all is fine. In edit mode & ML etc the Bundesliga is back to 18 teams so it must be related to live update data.

Yeah, that works like charme.
The way I did it with disconnecting just worked for one match.

Your way with the sub account needs some efforts, but finally WE can play with friends with the edited data.

I think it means you can play as one team against CPU teams in a cup but a friend can take control of one of the CPU teams.

What we need is the opposite. The CPU taking control of a human team. I hope that makes sense ;)

I don't see the problem either .. .. I played as Leeds against Burton on Top Player this morning and they never stopped attacking. .. .it was relentless . . the bushy haired guy in midfield was like a duracell bunny. .he was everywhere. . .no matter where I turned he was tackling me and getting forward . . .I don't know how I got a 1-1 draw. . . they had a man sent off and still attacked.

Played myclub match against Juve in one of the vs com tournaments . They could have torn me to shreds if it wasn't for MOTM Almer my 75 rated keeper. It was nerve wracking playing with my full strength squad and not bring able to boss the game.

They opened up with fast direct play I haven't experienced in a long time

Luckily I managed to win on penalties and save valuable player contracts and GP having to replay the tournament.

Also had 1 manual game online myclub divisions and the lag was a pain. Very hit and miss online atm hope it is sorted soon.

What network setting did you use?
I had mine on 3 and all those where fluid.
Then I didn't find no manual player and put it down to 2 and it was a total lag fest.

Never ever I set it below 3, I rather wait a few hours until I found an opponent with the same passing level.
The thing is also that there is no filter on manual shots.
Some use PA0 but assisted shooting so if u r full manual u r on a disadvantage again.

if you go to command list, shooting under attack, its not there...so im assuming theyve removed it?
 
Any word on the number of formation saves, is it really three?

Im feeling that pain as well.

I appreciate the Bundesliga, but its like the holy grail for some reason. "Look at our Bayern Munich.. no look at mine instead" :CALM:
