PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

I'm 39 from the uk..been playing iss since n64 days ..switched to fifa in 08 but still bought pes 14,15 and 16..my other half doesn't get it at all and doesn't believe people older and my age still enjoy fifa and pes..anyway we have a little lad now who's one so he will be the perfect excuse to always have a console and a footy game :)

Yes it is for me. Crosses, long through balls, quick build up is still heavily unbalanced against the cpu this way personaly.
That's right. It is unbalanced compared to the cpu style of passes!! That's the bad stuff I have to take. And yes, this needs fixing!!
PA1 passes will level that but also take out some huge part of the fun for me.
So eat eat it up and see the glas is half full!

That is pretty much my exact story. Been playing since N64 & was ISS/PES through & through until FIFA 08. Always tried both games every year after that but it wasn't until PES 14 that I came back full time. I haven't looked back since.

Unfortunately my son prefers ultimate team to my club though so he hasn't fully converted yet. I am working on it slowly though and we have had some great games on the demo

Looks like im locked in now, Shopto processing order, payment taken... can hope for a Wednesday, but will take Thursday for 35 quid.

Plus now I feel young at 36, thought id be ridiculed for mentioning that earlier, but seems to have sparked a load of 'seniors' to come out :WASTED:

The only problem with this age thing is that just a couple of harsh winters and KONAMI's PES revenue will be taking a major hit!

31 here - been searching for that PES5 high since...PES6.

I remember buying ISS1 for the PS1 from Electronics Boutique in Debenhams. Took it round my mate's house and we played it and thought, "what the hell is this unlicensed joke of a game!?". A couple of hours later we realised it was actually brilliant. Good times.

I'm 40. Been playing since my 20s. Wife hates pes with a passion by the way . But now I'm training my 6 year old boy to carry on the legacy
Remember that WoW kid that got filmed by his brother, who had a fit when his mom turned off his wow account?
That's pretty much me,and I'm scared shitless that my gf will film me when I lose a few ML games.
So yeah, she's not into PES either.
Hoping for a mellow ML career this time around

Should be Wednesday with shopto

Lol I can't believe I'm this age. . . the last twenty years pissed in. I'll be your new brother on this geeee ha ha.

Lol i always thought you was younger than me. Look at us oldies complaining about scripting and stuff. Its funny i never heard my dad complain about scripting in Space Invaders :PP

Think I'm the youngest here, 16, been playing PES pretty much my whole life.

Hi blues, i mentioned earlier about a conversation, regarding editing, i had with someone last year and they said that they were off school with flu. I think it was you lol

I'm feeling real old now :COAT:

Lol I see the age average in here is above 30, that's nice. I'm 34 myself and play pes since iss pro 98, stopped for fifa 09 and 10 after the disaster of PES 2008, then returned for pes 11, and since then have played all but not enjoying them like in ps2 Era.

FIFA don't captivate me despite me liking UT approach without the money sh&*t of course, but the gameplay does not fit my taste at all despite me experimenting the game every year.

I like this year's pes and it seems that if online is good it will be the one that will make me have the PES feeling again after 8 years or so. Despite not having the same time to play due to kids and wife, but I always manage to play a game or two and some more in the weekends.

And like some here I don't see me quit playing video games, since it's one of my joys, and it's not a simple number like age that will make me quit playing games or football or whatever.

35 and registered to this site in 2005, ex footballer and Started playing football games since Kick off on the amiga, I own every iteration since Goal storm 97 on ps 1!

I will continue to fight against monopoly of football games, blind fanboyism, scripting and games losing features year after year.

Brilliant. Loved Goal Storm. I used to use Norway because they were the only team that seemed to look like Manchester United kits.

Unfortunately my PS1 disc started to smudge, and it took about 20 tries to get the game to load. I used to close my eyes and pray for the game to work, and I would take a peek everytime I heard the disc spin at full speed because that would mean I'd either get to play...or reset/troubleshoot more.

In the end, I've developed a tendency to close my eyes and peek for any game that has a loading screen. I'm 31 now, and that is kind of funny that I still do that, without even thinking. Goal Storm is pretty much ingrained in me.
