This is what I mean by silly things that Konami must see before they released the demo.
Neur can throw it way too far.
But you are right. There is a love hate thing with PES!
 
Speaking of goalies Pat Jennings could throw the ball past midfield regularly . .. hands like shovels.. . . scored from his own box too. . with his foot though . .great keeper our Pat!

There is a great game in there and after recent years im not 100% sure that I trust Konami to sort out. I dont want to cut my nose off despite my face and send FIFA back, PES turn out plop then I have to re-order Fifa and its two months later and ive not played any footie games.

Yeah good choice.
I might gonna do the same thing.

My older son (15) is a FIFA player (mostly because all of his friends play it), so he´s gonna have it on his console and I probably gonna play a few games there.
My younger one (10) is a PES fan though and we both can´t wait for the full release.
It´s a joy playing with him and he even beat me on PES 2014 when I was picking a low team and set it on purple arrows.

Funny to see them both arguing about what game is better :LOL:

Two months is quite some time and I really hope KONAMI is gonna use it wisely!
Specially for the PC version...

Yeah my son is 12 and loves FIFA and all his mates play it. He has FIFA15 on Xbox1.

iF Konami spend these 2 months wisely then ill invest.

Its this kind of feedback that potentially ruins the game for people. This demo includes some of the best players from the top teams in the world with their teams represented.


Why dont you wait till you get your hands on the lesser teams so as to find out if the shooting is indeed overpowered and easy to score please we need to be careful with feedback, so konami dont throw the game off-balance thank you.
 
you love pes demo too much i believe. we cant have an argue about it because of this. and personally i dont care about people's relationship with PES, im just talking about facts if they love buggy games go on

this needs to be sorted out if they want to give "old PES" feeling where shooting was actually difficulty,

and i dont want to play manual at all :/ it always felt in PES 2014 like player skills dont matter then only my fingers and reaction...

back then a shot depend on: stance, range, foot, shooting skills, extra abilites, keeper, defenders position, momentum. here u just press the button no matter what inside the box and goal bumm. even from long range is too easy to hit the target on assisted. gamebreaker for me just like the super tricks. they sort these out and we will see

That is identity of PES shooting that was lost. Who want to play manual? Did you guys even think of asking for manual pass or shooting when you enjoyed PES 5-6? No, because it was FUN to play.

The same goes to the game speed. What is that? Change the speed of a sport game. Really?

Let change of speed, the sliders and manual stuff to the other football simulation game.

PC here, not played so far, judging by comments, and I know myself, I'm sensitive to certain things, if people write about certain stuff, I will notice it directly during play.

Fifa on the other hand is a totally different thing, sometimes looking like a different sport altogether. :D

I think its a foregone conclusion that shots are overpowered for every player. Not every team in the demo is Barcelona or Madrid. Even if they were, not every player is CR7 or Lewandowski. I feel there is no debate about this. Shots are too powerful for every player and its clearly evident. Still the best footy game out there.
 
A lot of guys on here are enjoying the demo and I am trying hard to see the beauty in this game, but I'd like to know if anyone is experiencing these problems iv been seeing.

1. Stutter in animation while walking/running
2. Tevez as well as several other players have a hunch while running, doesn't look right.
3. When passing, ball moves along the pitch like its on ice. I can't see much variation in passing.

haven't paid much attention to the running animations, just noticed that a lot of times even if you press R1 your player almost comes to a complete stop, and then sprints a few moments later

i would expect those ball physics for a ps1 game, but for ps4 this is almost unacceptable

Agreed. When PES 2008 was released and if someone then told me the PS4 version would still lack basic things like snow or decent animations I wouldn't believe them even if they put a gun on my head. How times fly by and some things never change.

NOOOO! Then they make the same mistake as with PES 2014. Then the demo 1 was pretty good... until they started to tweak gameplay. The release product was worse then demo 1 of PES 2014...

I agree, i think they should release the game with the same gameplay of the demo and change gameplay on future patches, so people will have the option to play like day 1 or with update gameplay.

Fair enough. With the way assisted shooting is on the demo I simply don't have any satisfaction with it.

I don't use manual shooting but zero bar passing assistance in turns wit 1 bar. Zero uses a mix of user input and stats. It's not just about how good your fingers are, stats definitely have an influence!

This is weird.
I just had about 15 games where Neuer/Buffon kept parrying or even catching my shots inside the box. And I am definitely older than 2 years. My stances were right, using stronger foot too.

Also I didn't play on manual.

Are you playing on ps4? I wonder why experiences can vary this great.

I also found it's very different shooting with Ronaldo or with Gabi or Suarez (Atl Madrid). It is less accurate.

So far I think it's pretty balanced. Perhaps Konami's take is 60% of players can whack the ball out with power, however better players will have more accuracy.

+1.... what are the chances the fix that and completely destroy gameplay.... fix those two things and i think im good to go for now
 
Juve are a joy to play with.

Loving this at mo. Just need to tweak a few things and ill be happy. Some animations are old and look last gen but all in all we have a good game here.
