There are no new national team licenses. It's difficult to say what happens with Japan in PES 2015 since we are looking at the Winning Eleven 2015 files...

No, there aren't any new leagues apart from the second divisions in Italy, England, France and Spain.

The editor just defaults to Ireland whenever a team ID is not known. The three Ireland teams that can be seen are simply the promoted Ligue 1 teams.

It's a Little Endian / Big Endian problem I think... Take this file, I corrected the team IDs here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/d37v1fs88bokiem/TeamColor.bin

The team names aren't included in this file; the tool simply uses team names from PES 2014's database.

Well that is normal.. last year Sporting wasn't in the Euro competitions.. that's why Paços de Ferreira was licensed... this year Sporting is in the Champions League...

You know that exhibition matches are always weaker than mode-games.


Slowly on I see happen what I predicted one day before the demo released.
We were very optimistic and I expected that people would complain more and more by time. It's the nature of the people overhere at Evo Web ;)

All fanboyism aside, there's no way anyone in their right mind could say PES 2015 is the best sports game based off of this demo, seriously. Only thing I can think of is that the code played at Gamescom was much more advanced and better.

I don´t see why not. For me the demo plays better and it´s much more fun to play than Fifa 15 (that probably were the only other contender).

Pes has had a good reception the last two years pre-release...there may be some truth in the code being more advanced,then again it just might of been the visuals and the better initial responsiveness of the game compared to 14.

I really liked it for about 50 games,but going back to Fifa and the trial just demonstrated how laboured the control and response is in the most part and the same old weaknesses and limitations.

It's a looker alright and it may well still be a far better game on release..I'm going to pick it up like I always do and plough some money back into the konami coffers in the hope that it will come good in time...the potential is certainly there,it's just whether they have the time this year.
 
It's grown onto me big time. Love how you have to approach each team differently
You can't employ barca tactics with Napoli who are again different to Juve. I can't play well with wingbacks and 3 CBs

They do have real names, there are just lots of Ireland teams with unknown IDs so it is impossible to say at the moment how many teams and which teams exactly are licensed in the Other Teams (Europe) section.

I kinda felt the same when I first played it!
But now? I'm in love with PES... the game feels so good, hard to score, but when I finally score.. feels amazing.

I think that the graphics aren't that good actually(FIFA looks better to me.... well those body models ruin it for me.. but still).

But the gameplay is amazing... defenatly better than FIFA IMHO.:JAY:

:LOL: No it doesn't. I'm a huge PES fanboy and I can admit that. Anyway, think a more progressed code must have been shown at Gamescom. Hopefully that's the case.
 
I'm with Ipswich here. The overall experience in Fifa, from the presentation and graphics to the gameplay (a gem on manual) is so much better.

If Fifa had more/better faces, better player models (no stickmen or rugbymen) and PES's edit mode I'd say it was perfect, for me at this moment in time. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I sincerely hope PES improves drastically before release. I think they should release another demo nearer release or they shouldn't have released one two months before the game comes out.

EDIT: Add PES' Player ID to the list of improvements for Fifa :LOL:

See this is what I find interesting because I find it easier to score and more attacking based,even on superstar.

Saying actually means fact when Fifa and pes for me(opinion not fact)go for a completelty different visual approach..the models on pes have a more dwarf like look like the ps2 days,but they are solid.

Tactical differences aside between teams isn't pes weakness it's the sum of its parts and the contrived nature of its gameplay..it's not free like it should be and control is still laboured(again in my opinion).

I'm a pes fanboy too..but it doesn't stop me seeing its gaping flaws and lightness...good game but not the promised land yet(opinion).

Still time though and it yet might be a megatron..
