PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

I also think EA treat us more like customers should be treated.

But with all it's very obvious and enervating flaws, a game like PES2014 feels more like real football. If you play PES (no matter how bad even the ones who were unplayable for me) you have to think like on a real football pitch. The other game does not give me that feeling.

:WORSHIP:Amen

Now let's be honest, does PES 2015/Fifa 15 look like a current-gen game?!Does it look like a game running on hardware six to eight times more powerful with ten times as much memory?!

Next-gen is a nonsense term. A next-gen console is a last-gen PC in terms of hardware. However, it's hard to say one way or the other until we've seen a direct feed running at 1080p at the native fps. As with past PES titles I'm sure some elements will look excellent and others disappointing.

As mentioned previously, it's the lighting that makes all the difference. In PES' case everything is too over-exposed which makes the colour look washed out. Fix that and it'll look much better for a start.

I am surprised that nobody reacts on the great preview of Asim Tanvir.
He was last year correct with his judgement over PES 2014 and if he is also correct with his view on PES 2015 we are in for a great PES year! :RSCARF:

OK...Shall I start it off? It is official!! The King is Back!!! lol I dont wanna jinx it man, lets cross fingers, legs, arms, butt cheeks, the whole lot and hope for a great year, last year was disappointing football wise.

Since I will be getting pes 15 on pc I feel sorry for myself and others who have to settle down for this PS3 graphics. What have we dont to deserve this????

Nice article by Asim Tanvir. He says that the GK’s are more than solid. That's good, very good indeed. That's not the impression that the videos created, but there's a multiple of factors in that (especially the difficulty in which is played). My biggest concern now is the physicality in defence, is something that can ruin the game and be exploited. Hope that this can still be fixed.

If you severely criticized PES before why do you have problems with others doing the same? Why does someone else giving their opinion.

Because you used cheap generalisations like: it happens all the time or in your last post ("EA are cheap douchebags"). If you write things like that IMO you loose much credibility.

If that's the case then I'm more than happy in losing credibility in your eyes.

And you constantly avoid discussion because you know that i'm right.
For example you don't mention the relatively good comments of the people who actually played the game because they don't go your way.
By making "funny" statements you try to "win" arguments, but you avoid serious discussion.
I'm not interested in winning arguments, i want to discuss seriously. Seems impossible with you...let's agree to disagree and stop boring other people with this useless struggle.

Hope you enjoy yourself with whatever football game this year.

No hard feelings.

Comparisons between PC and consoles are dumb by nature. They never made sense.

There's nothing wrong saying This is nextgen or not because the term "NEXTGEN" has a direct refference to the Last gen consoles and everything that wasn't possible before but it's now possible on the new comsoles.

It's a classification atributed to the console market only. PC has absolutely no influence on that.

In the end whats really matter is the software when it comes to that transition between the Two different generations, and thats the jump that we are yet to see and PC will still benefit from that.

Games fully optimized for the new consoles are still coming and I don't see neither Fifa or PES taking real advantage of that.

Visually speaking, I don't see any racing game that can even touch Driveclubs visuals, and there are worlds apart between Driveclub and any football game.

I know the comparison may sound dumb but it tells us that we can still expect some good graphical upgrade in the next football games.

This new NHL 15 is a good example. Sure a hockey game is not as complex as a football game,
but the difference in the visuals seem a bit too Big imo, and that may be the result of a game being exclusevily focused on the "nextgen" version.

I don't avoid discussion but it's hard to talk to someone with the "you know I'm right" attitude then says he's not interested in winning arguments.

This started with some video links I posted to give feedback about some PES 2015 problems that will hopefully be fixed and ended in white knighting parade. I agreed to disagree a long time ago, I even stopped quoting you and asked you almighty if it's okay for me to have an opinion different from yours but apparently it's not possible. I'm either avoiding discussion or taking it too far.

Honestly, I don't care. This is everything but about the dam game.

Now regarding GKs... I think in terms of positioning they can be improved. The reactions or animations, I don't think there's gonna be enough time to redo all that but I hope I'm wrong.
