Sorry is this has been asked, but will purchasing the game being on steam effect the modding prospects?
Do we know if there are any advanced display settings in-game?
Where does DX11 come into play?
Maybe the dx11 features are built in the "high" settings preset.

Maybe there is no DX11 implementation.
Howdy!
It has been a LONG while since posting on these forums. I played the demo of PES 2014 and LOVED it but it was on my PS3 (last time I enjoyed PES was WE9). Back in the day when it was easy to mod a PS2 game and the "knife-trick" worked flawlessly. Knowing that it is much easier to mod on the PC than trying to make it work on my now, PS3, it just makes sense to make the switch.
Sorry about the brief diatribe, but, I noticed some of y'all mentioning a DVD version of the game, steam version, etc. For ease of editing and most options for available patches, what is the preferred "version" of the game? Is it simply the retail PC version that I need to buy that comes with a disk? Can't even remember the last time I bought a PC game, so, I am rather clueless. I am pretty sure my little laptop can handle though, with an i3 - 2370 processor, and 6GB RAM.
Also, would connecting an HDMI cable from the laptop to a TV cause any lag? I would think not, but I just wanted to confirm.

Green Man Gaming seems cool and everything but you still have to pay £1.10 for 1st class delivery. I've decided to go with ShopTo as they usually send them out early and it's about 60p difference.

Only resolution and quality settings, i expected more advanced settings considering the game runs on Fox Engine.
By now they could have implemented PhysX, Anti-Aliasing, etc...
But, unfortunately, the consoles are holding the game back (as usual). In gaming it's always the lowest common denominator. Same thing will happen with next gen consoles. The XB1 is the weakest and will hold back the rest.
Yo, the KONAMI-Support wrote me and tells me that the memory of my Radeon HD7770 maybe will be too low, so I need to put the graphic-settings down, if the game lagg.
Now I'm confused... hope the game runs just perfect anyway.![]()
Same here. Got my PC hooked up to my AV Receiver and 51" Plasma in the lounge and a wireless 360 controller. Great graphics and great surround sound![]()
I'm talking about gaming in general. Not PhysX for this game. It's held back by the consoles.
We need Steam to Install?![]()
same "low/medium/high" setting only ???!!!its a shit for the new engine....there should have more advanced options like AA/DX/crowd optimization etc......
Considering it's a console port, to expect anything more than the low medium or high, there's a very slim chance they'd put the effort in for pc to allow as such. Especially when the community do so much for the pc game.
