I wonder if implementing chants will be a bit smoother this year. Adding chants in FIFA usually produces good results, but chant packs always sounded a bit jarring and out of place in PES.
Apologies for the long wait for a reply. In all honesty, I can't answer that indefinitely. I got my info from a lad on Twitter. He is available for questions. My intial thought is that its not neccessary though.Please answer me Xav1.![]()
Forgive my ignorance. What is the difference between buying from steam or purchasing a CD key. Isn't it essentially the same thing.
The game will still need to be downloaded from steam?
yes but, for this moment, no relase on day one in to steam....
Adam said it will be on Steam Day 1.
Pro Evolution Soccer @officialpes 9h

The game will be in your digital library, so you can download the game from anywhere.
Best gaming platform out there.
Easy user communication via the Steam Overlay and Chat.
How about patching and steam ? Do we have any info on that ?
for pes edit patch here a guide (pes 2013)
PESEdit can't be used with the Steam version by default, that is because the Steam version doesn't have the registry entries that the dvd version has. With this Workaround you can enjoy PESEdit with the Steam version.
As far as i know, it is possible to install all available custom patches that are made for the dvd version or rely on that.
Long version:
32bit
(Copy the text between the - into a new textfile and save it, rename from .txt to .reg and import those entries into the Registry)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KONAMI\PES2013]
"code"="here-goes-your-serial-from-pes"
"installdir"="E:\\KONAMI\\Pro Evolution Soccer 2013\\"
"version"="1.00.0000"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
64bit
(Copy the text between the - into a new textfile and save it, rename from .txt to .reg and import those entries into the Registry)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KONAMI\PES 2013]
"code"="here-goes-your-serial-from-pes"
"installdir"="E:\\KONAMI\\Pro Evolution Soccer 2013\\"
"version"="1.00.0000"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Explanation:
The code means your serial, installdir is the complete path to your main PES2013 installation, don't forget that the registry exports backslashes (\) in paths by default as double backslashes (\\), so you need to make double backslashes too if you want to import back and the double backslash at the end of the installation path is important (don't miss that), version could be 1.00.0000 to 1.03.0000 until now but i don't think it matters and is not that important to make the Workaround function.
Please note:
There is no space in the registry paths, PES2013 is correctly, PES 2013 would be wrong. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KONAMI\PES2013]
Note: The space in the 64bit registry entry has been set by the forums, there is no space normally.

Crappy GPU, but it will run i think.
That's why I have just upgraded my PC cause I can't imagine playing Pro 14 on medium..Graphic in that game is sooo amazong. On xbox it looks shitty, completely fucked but onto PC it has to be AAAAAAMAZING5 days guys!!!!
XP NOT SUPPORTED YOU SAY!?:S
But what shall i do then?
are you sure
If i get Windows 7 or windows 8 then i will get less frames per second in my games (xp is best on low spec machines)..what to do..eek
Wondering if we'll get 16:10 aspect ratio support. Past few pes titles were the very only modern games not supporting such resolutions FFS.
EDIT
From screens it seems 16:9 and 4:3 only supported aspect ratios once again. Why Konami has to be lagging behind everyone else in such a basics ?
