I hope this isnt the final code, the the game is so unresponsive, i was through 1 on 1 with Rooney and I pressed shoot literally 2 seconds before he decided to shoot which was to late as the keeper closed me down, the game seems to refuse to do first time shots or anything for that matter, even if the ball is rolled into them perfectly, so annoying. I had lots of slowdown in the box too, especially on corners.

I do love the manual passing tho, love smashing a 30 yard ball out wide Scholesy style, I dont know why johnny evans has blonde hair tho and Rafael looks like a lion but the other faces seem fine.

Konami are defo getting back on track tho, hopefully next year on NG they will sort these problems out and add more modes.

Disregarding a few niggles here and there, this game is phenomenal, and it is mostly thanks to the tech underneath it. It just moves to authentically, from the player movement to the perfectly replicated pace of the ball and the way it bounces and moves after various strikes. The fact that this is the first game in the new generation is just astonishing. Apart from raising the fidelity and adding new levels, there isn't really anything to change. It just works as a cohesive experience. I've played a few hours of FIFA14 on PC and PS3 today, and it doesn't hold a candle to this, which is saying alot considering the tech they do have driving their game.

If anyone knows any Konami employees give them a kiss from me.

Holy shit im finding this so difficult on Prof / Top Player & Superstar, really struggling to get to grips with the through ball as well :(

having played both xbox and PS3 demo, for some reason the PS3 version felt different, in a better way,..Game speed feels a bit slower too. Generally speaking after playing the PS3 version, the game is really great. The ultimate test for this game will be in the cup and game modes on the retail version (single player vs Com) I hope they don't ruin it by ai cheats and cheap goals. I hope the ai will really be smarter this year..

Konami have finally given us the PES we've been wanting for 7 years. Thought the leaked demo was great, but this is just superb. The pace, the tempo, the physics, the animations, the lighting, the smooth saturated graphics... Wonderful. This is a proper PES game, not like the PES games of 2008-2013 that people like curdstar lauded from the heavens:LOL:

Quick run down of some of the issues I have with the game:

- Cursor select is a bit suspect!
- CPU skill move frequency is high (especially the double touch move)
- Players could be a bit more urgent OFF the ball. Feels a bit sluggish when you're trying to contain
- Random inability to strike/head the ball first time
- Lack of fouls, especially considering how much more robust the player collisions are (might be due to half length)
- That shit rendition of 12 Cantonas is still in the game
- Rafael's Rick James hair

i prefer this game on 3 bars, the pace is good, still a tad bit slow.

The gamespeed seems to get slower on more manual passing.

Had to be really tactful as the 10 year olds Unchartered game had finally downloaded. Me and the 6 year old sit down and I immediately set up his controls 4 bar pass assist, myself just one bar. I hold up play with my defender so little man can get a quick cheap goal with Ribery. Takes him some time and I can hear the older brother tell the younger brother "Remember Nick PES is a lil harder than FIFA. After 15 minutes he is all smiles, I am all smiles the game ended 1-1.


The 6 year old constantly repeats Good game Poppa, Good game Poppa,Good game Poppa.

Everything is in its right place.

Digital Download first day of release.

This game will keep me in the house.

Do you guys believe if we had one chance for a port of PES & PES 2 for PC in one DVD?
How do you guys think?
For collectors like me, i could love so much to complete this transformation all over the years. :))
