ya think?! Good stuff mate enjoyed what I could watch Twitch isn't too kind on tablets.
Look forward to yourimpressions on the proper demo and how much has changed with the amount of time you have put in your opinion will be valued.
Also would like your take on the responsiveness. Reading between the lines I think responsiveness is not exactly lag but more to do with the weightiness Konami want to introduce and I won't be surprised if the next demo annoys you cause its lost its clunkiness.
Hi Zee
when you first play it you can't help think it has delay. more zoomed in camera angles help with the pace of it and seems quicker.
once you go through the transitional period you notice that there is in fact no lag/delay. if you hold sprint and decide to quickly turn to receive an on coming ball the player can miss it, this might need cleaning up by konami but this for me is mainly down to abusing the sprint, once I stopped doing that I could keep track of the passes better and "locking" on was no longer a real issue.
for me this game does not have delay, I actually like it. It feels that you need to consider the body position of the player, the foot planting of the opponent when you shift your man, body feint of movement to get the opponent into a position where you can simply use your foot planting, skills to create the space.
the way the players feel, I can't say anyone on the demo felt the same, each player felt unique.
I can only imagine what 11v11 would be like this as playing a pirlo role, helping dictate the pass, keep the ball ticking or a winger who looks to try and do a bit of magic. when you find your self playing 1v1 and you get into those positions with the players you can feel how the game changes, you are in that role.
for me that is as close a simulation you can get and that is what has drawn me into this game.
I hope they don't make it to quick on responsiveness, that will have a knock on affect to the overall feel of the game. less arcade the better for me
