I agree 100%. Like I said, if the situation is not "right" then the sombrero should be ugly to watch, fail like I mean.
 
Hopefully the Sombrero can only be done by players with the skill card for it.

As for faces, we cant be that surprised there is a limit on the number of faces, these new faces are SO much better than the old ones, Konami really need to spend time adding new ones tho in DLC packs...

Illogical explanations (guesses) would be:

a - 5 minutes matches are long enough to get a taste of the game but not too long so that bugs/faults/shortcomings are noticeable. They don't expect people to play the demo over and over.

b - they think a small minority will be happy with a free demo if matches are a decent length i.e. they may lose a few sales.

What a cretin. Is he really employed by Konami, or is this a voluntary position? His lack of professionalism is astounding. It shouldn't be a priviledge to try out the game ffs, without us they don't have a game.

On a different note, it seems like some need reminding tons of times of the rules. This has got out of hand now tbh. I'm going to post this as a final warning. So please make sure you read this now:

We really feel like the discussion in the two pretty much most active threads of this board has gotten out of hand over the past couple of days with the release of both major titles coming closer and more and more info surfacing.
We all want a lively discussion, but we also want to keep this forum to a certain standard that made it enjoyable to our members in the past.

So we ask you kindly to keep the spam out of the two big threads regarding FIFA and PES.

This is not ment as a censorship in any way, but the ratio between news and pure spam in the threads just got out of hand and is not manageable for the moderators.

If you do not agree with this, keep on posting spam (and any kind of pro / contra WENB is considered as spam!) and thereby disobey the rules of this forum you will be warned and eventually permanently banned.


-If you feel like the guys over at WENB are lying to your face
-Let them know it, there is nothing we can do.

-If you feel like they ban you over there for no reason - it's sad to see something like that happen, but this is Evo-Web, not WENB. Again, there is nothing we can do.

-If you want to discuss the behaviour of the guys over there, please start a new thread and do so in a calm, normal manner without any sort of insult towards members of this forum OR the staff of the WENB.

-Most important of all: If they disappointed you in the past, STOP reading their blog. Why keep messing with something you don't agree with anyway? There are plenty of other preview websites on the net with pretty much the same content. And if it helps to keep this forum clean, please get your information either there or straight from our board.

Just to let you know. Behave, discuss, open a new thread if you feel like WENB is worth it. But please play by the rules. We do not want to ban you, but we will if necessary.

I wish there was some clarity on the pre-order bonus DLC. I've had a pre-order in at ShopTo for weeks and there is no mention of any DLC on their site. My order was in before I knew anything about this DLC.

Its been handled very badly. If you're going to do pre-order DLC then state which retailers it's available from and do so well in advance.

In the video Jimmy G posted regarding Sobrero it showed player needed a card to do this.

There is always a possibility.

In recent times Konami have provided roster, boots, balls, faces, stadium updates.

They do this for the whole season.

Besides if the coding structure remains the same for the next iteration the modding community will have figured how to create faces to the same standard.

I expect this was much the same situation in PES5. Starting from a low base and building in numbers and quantity over successive years given the popularity of that title and PES6.

People are still modding those. I expect CL/Libertadores teams will get priority in terms of faces as Konami's premier modes.
 
Fingers crossed the European office can tailor the game to a European audience and get the J-League incorporated into one global title. I don't mind the UI at present. It is satisfactory for the needs of the game.
