Ah yes the famous konami triangle. I wonder why they couldn't bring back the mix and match to kits, it was so simple and lovely.

I actually... asked Adam about this a long time ago....

@Adam_Bhatti Ohh ok!! OneLastQuestion I promise, is it hard to add that feature that let's us mix kits, like we had in previous games! :D

@IuRiCandeias we had in one game. PES 5. It was taken out initially as very time consuming as you have to create the kits in different ways

The old cut scenes on the new engine would be very weird when Looking at old models vs the improved player models.

If they improved the cut scenes, graphically as well then i can tolerate them for another year even though its not ideal.

Slightly off-topic but where in the Caribbean are you from?

Simple things that would immensively improve the game:

-Removing replays after fouls and offsides, only exceptiong being fouls that lead to penalties and red cards and offside that lead to disallowed goals (with the options to turn them off/on anyway). how many f. replays did i have to skip in the last 10 years...tens of thousands!
- Having good highlights after goals and end of the game. back in the ps2 times replays were a beauty to watch, now they are probably the worst highlights in history of sports videgaming. slow ugly static weird angles...come on it's pathetic.
- removing all the cutscenes and non sense in ML, just good and simple transfer/injury/fatigue systems.
-Those dot lines have to be taken down asap, game breaker on line.
-Stadium coreography gets old very soon, should be reserved for special game in ML or CL. overcrowded stadium lose visual texture, much nicer to see them empty in training mode. bring back spectator option like in the old days

And some attention to detail: for example in the demo when there is a harsh foul u see the ref whistling and walking like nothing happened 20 metres away from the foul, then a cutscene happens and he's running opposite direction 1 metre from the guy...just get rid of the cutscene and make the ref react real time with a card.

Cutscenes are a very old and outdated game design in sport videogames, eveything should be real time in the ps4/x1 era. the flow of the game is everything!

Is good to read that now moanings aren't about gameplay anymore.

About the dumbest licensing issue I have ever heard of, Konami could have fought this if they wanted to because those same clubs do the mixing of shorts/shirts/socks during the season.

I think from what I understood is that creating template combos of all these mixes for every team was time consuming etc.

But that's in the past now since we have 3rd and 4th kits now.

Indeed it is.

There is a demo share thread on this board, but you could also wait until the better one hits the PSN stores mid week, Tuesday for USA and Wednesday for EU, at least if the demo is out with the weekly released stuff.

Whats up guys, been ages since i joined this forum.

Lost my love for WE or as it is known now PES since 2008. But 2011 and 2013 have given me hope (2012 something went wrong there for some reason), by the looks of things many of you are quite impressed by the unfinished demo. Also, the videos posted give me greater hope that my love will be reignited.

Aww what would i give to get that amazing feeling of scoring a goal in WE back!!

no probs. I have got to the point with this demo now where I have had enough lol.. to be fair I have played the hell out of it.

 ya think?! Good stuff mate enjoyed what I could watch Twitch isn't too kind on tablets.

Look forward to yourimpressions on the proper demo and how much has changed with the amount of time you have put in your opinion will be valued.

Also would like your take on the responsiveness. Reading between the lines I think responsiveness is not exactly lag but more to do with the weightiness Konami want to introduce and I won't be surprised if the next demo annoys you cause its lost its clunkiness.

agree 100%.
just unbelievable, cause even with the third kits you can't set it up that absolutely nothing from your kit matches the opponents kit.
that said, its not gamebreaking for me, but it would've been nice to have

Hi Zee

when you first play it you can't help think it has delay. more zoomed in camera angles help with the pace of it and seems quicker.

once you go through the transitional period you notice that there is in fact no lag/delay. if you hold sprint and decide to quickly turn to receive an on coming ball the player can miss it, this might need cleaning up by konami but this for me is mainly down to abusing the sprint, once I stopped doing that I could keep track of the passes better and "locking" on was no longer a real issue.

for me this game does not have delay, I actually like it. It feels that you need to consider the body position of the player, the foot planting of the opponent when you shift your man, body feint of movement to get the opponent into a position where you can simply use your foot planting, skills to create the space.

the way the players feel, I can't say anyone on the demo felt the same, each player felt unique.

I can only imagine what 11v11 would be like this as playing a pirlo role, helping dictate the pass, keep the ball ticking or a winger who looks to try and do a bit of magic. when you find your self playing 1v1 and you get into those positions with the players you can feel how the game changes, you are in that role.

for me that is as close a simulation you can get and that is what has drawn me into this game.

I hope they don't make it to quick on responsiveness, that will have a knock on affect to the overall feel of the game. less arcade the better for me
