he passed the first one pure speed (video starts just 1 sec after that) and then the second one with a nice little touch, he went on and took a third guy before the got tackle by the forth one.

You are not showing anything in this video. You have to show us a video of Ribery as example running side by side and gaining meters and maintaining the distance, not living players behind ( and in your video the 2 first players just stopped)

do you think in real football players (midfielders and forward) keep chasing down a faster player forever? it's not like kids in park all running after the ball, once u can't catch a faster player u will give up and position yourself.

anyway, tonite i'll try posting a clearer video, but there is no catch up speed bug, the "catch up" is more two players contending the ball and joystling. If u have some space in front of you and have players like ribery and ronaldo and messi u can really be lethal.

As i said, people hardly read the command manual. Spriting need double r1 to get the extra burst. that's the trick and all problems solved.

At first i found the game slow and bit sluggish, now that i learned how to play i found it a bit too fast (On 0) and very realistic in movements, especially when turning around. i fear Konami might listen to the noob community and take steps toward an arcade game ala sensible soccer. I am afraid real players are the minority, people wanto to go coast to coast and turn around at 1000 mile per hour.

agreed. i always play 15 minutes.

I've always found it interesting about the length of time of matches we as football game consumers have become accustomed to. it must be really hard for konami to condense a games worth of events (goals, fouls, yellow cards) into a shorter time frame than a normal match yet try and go for a realistic approach. if you played a 90 minute game of PES the score would end up being 18-12 or something.

It's a really tough thing to do, I imagine. I think that's why there has always been an element of scripting to the gameplay in PES, otherwise recreating the ebb and flow of a real match with all that entails would be incredibly difficult within such a small timeframe.

The standard ten minute match isn't going to go away as I'm guessing it is the most popular match length, particularly with casual players. Those that play 15 minute matches or longer are in the minority so it's going to be interesting to see how PES is received this year with this in mind. Expect plenty of comments about being difficult to score and boring.

rather fill up the CL/EL roster with extra fake teams so we can create all the participants to ourselfs

If only it was implemented wisely (e.g. the way it's done in FIFA, but maybe including also fonts and numbers as opposed to FIFA in which there are entries in the main DB for any kit that sort the font/number management) and it worked also on consoles, it would be a (little) revolution! :-D

I was thinking more to "exploit" that feature to enable kit mixing (the same I did in FIFA12): 1st, 2nd and 3rd kits are used as they should, then the 4th and the (possibly) following ones are used as "home with alternate shorts", "away with alternate shorts" and so on :-D

umm licenced teams have 3 kits
unlicenced teams have 4 kits

and this 4th kit feature is also a last minute change

indeed, what happened is that konami redesigned the relationship ball-runner and u get probably less speed in normal r1 situation but more ball control, especially when opponent is close and he can grab u and slow u down.

now just with varying angles and speed variation u can pass defenders, quite a beauty tbh, no need for bullshit tricks or unrealistically fast supermen. Counterattacking with ribery is amazing, give him some space and he can be a killer.

greatest gameplay ever indeed and with a low height (2-3) and a bit of zoom (3-4) and a bit of colour setting a hell of a great looking game too.

P.S.
probably extra kits slots are for CL/UEFA league, they surely can be used for fantasy kits for the many seasons u play the master league. it gets boring to see the same kits after 4/5 ml years.

Getting hammered in a tackle causing the controller to give u a real jolt would be great... Guess I could just go outdoors and have a real kick with the mates...

Random goal here, initially meant to strike it first time (out of pure frustration about not being able to break them down), but it bounced too high so Schweinsteiger took a touch then lobbed the keeper with this half-volleyed effort.

Its muller who scored not schwiny. And that happens most of the time do to the input lag problem, first time shoots rarely came out. The player most of the times even if you have filled the bar does not do a first shoot, he stop first with a touch and then shoot. But let that alone it´s a great goal indeed, good lob, but poor poor goalkeeping cause he had the time to catch the ball.

I do essentially the same by setting the commentator and crowd noise down to 2 bars while keeping the PA announcer at 5 bars and the on field sounds at 10 bars. Love to hear the ball being kicked:))

The massive problem was shooting. Some spastics play the game on zero passing assistance but there is nothing to say how you shoot in the settings. So some gaylords play the game on manual passing, but assistance shooting. IMO this is not only ridiculous but also goes against the spirit of manual play. Either the whole way or nothing IMO.

I'd have to disagree. Assisted passing gives a HUGE advantage against a zero pass player on every touch of the ball, assisted shots aren't even close to that sort of advantage, in fact they are not an advantage at all. In a manual passing game you get, like 5-10 shots off per game an they're very stat and balance/space dependent. Manual passing is dozens of ping pong, off balance, bullcrap passes per half.

You can't even compare.

assisted shooting is nowhere as assisted as passing
that said, i will try that advanced shot,i'm curious to see if it gives more variety compared to default shots
