Had an email that says I've been picked to host a PES 2014 house party, I've got to host it between the 13th and 15th of September.
Anyone know if you get to keep the game they post to you for the party afterwards?
How would dynamic weather be implemented when the time of matches we play generally vary from 10 to 30 mins. I mean wouldn't we literally see the lighting change while playing ? Or maybe they could find a way to scale the lighting variation in relation the duration of matches. Each matches (10,15, 30 mins etc etc ...) would have its own calculation.
The next gen consoles could handle that no ?
Would be a nice feature especially over a 20+ minute game. I assume it would be scaled like tyre wear in racing games. This feature will come at some point this generation as I think the PS4 & PCs will be more than capable of handling it.

Scaling it sounds right because during a match you only see the sky for short periods at one time.
I think the main cool factor would be that the weather would change like occasionally a match would start with light rain then later in the match it becomes heavy rain that lashes down on the pitch then this has an effect on the gameplay as the ball bogs down more and passing becomes more challenging. Or some matches start with no rain at all then it starts raining later in the match.
When I stop and think that we were supposed to be playing the Demo by now... it makes me wanna plant C4 explosives in Konami's office... LOL.

Jesus
It does look rather good.
I tried to play PES2013 today but I couldn't take it for more than one game.
Good point. Konami have something of a captive audience on the PC this year. This decision could prove to be a bit of a fuck up.
So did I, its nostalgic but its soooo dated now. And rigged, not smooth at all.
Codemasters did it with F1 2010/2011/2012, so why can't KONAMI do it with PES?
Not like it's rocket science now.
Eyeliner and mascara?![]()
Well he does love to prettify himself doesn't he James ? Don't know what the Beat would have made of it down Portman Road......![]()
Simbin implemented that better in GTR2. Dependent on conditions you would start to find it harder and harder to control the car. You would downshift more into corners and not take the most favourable line and your lap times would start to increase.
