Game looks sweet, just wish i could enjoy playing against the cpu cause i bet online will be a disaster...again, making that old game pong look like an simualation game.

Yeah, people tend to take things seriously when there's money coming out of their pocket. Never really understood why :P

That I understand very well. What I do not know much about it is the legality and how that all works.

A lot of people have mentioned the PC demo.

Not recently - no one has mentioned it in this entire page; in fact it's barely been mentioned in the last two pages. I was merely referring to the time of the Gamescom stage demo, if there's going to be one that is.

Seems like there are lots of youtuber ripping the footage from other's channel and then just cropped, zoomed or added their own music and watermark. That's borderline stealing in my eyes.

the game still feels some places like pes 2013, those ping pong passes losing possession after 2 passes, i liked the gameplay of italy vs germany a video posted before, where the ball hits the back of neur, but this feels different, and those nets my goddd!!!!please fixxx

And how did you come to the conclusion that my post was directly aimed at you? My post is clear. Any more posts/discussion of the PC demo should stay in that thread.

Stop derailing this thread.

Seemed a bit odd to suddenly bring up PC demo discussion when no one had mentioned it for two pages; if no one's been mentioning it recently, why bring it up? That's only going to start people discussing it again. That's how I came to that conclusion.

And how was I derailing the thread? I asked a question about the PES 14 Gamescom Stage demo. Last I looked, it was a PES 14 Discussion Thread... the PES 14 Gamescom stage demo is about PES 14 is it not?

Curious how great would it be if the highest level of play against the computer. If the game remains stable or otherwise ...
The effects of weather and time also I want to see it in PES 2014, will there?

I know this won't be in PES, but I'd love to see dynamic lighting change in ML depending on the time of year and kick off time. If games like Red Dead Redemption have a clock / day to night cycle then it can't be too hard to do on more modern games.

Imagine a ML campaign where from August-October, 3pm kick-offs are sunny, 7.45 or later kick-offs start sunny then gradually get dark.

And, in winter months, 3pm kick-offs start in daylight then get dark by the second half etc. would be awesome.

I reckon it would be a piece of cake to do - all they'd have to do is scale it so that the clouds aren't racing across the sky. ;)

It works quite nicely on a couple of tracks in Gran Turismo 5 which have full 24hr cycles and accelerated time settings. Every track has this feature in rFactor 2.

I don't see why it couldn't be done in a football game. The accelerated time effect might look a bit unrealistic on a 5 minute match, but 10 minute matches or longer would be subtle enough to make it work.

That's what I mean when I say they'd have to scale it. It can't be real time, as you wouldn't see a single change in a ten or twelve minute match.

Even matches that start in the dusk and then change to night time after half time would be better than nothing.

Dynamic weather and time of day would be amazing. Hopefully it is something that is added next year when the move to gen 4 is completed.

Honestly, there is really no excuse not to have it. The little things help to immerse you into the game. Older PES/WE seemed to have alot of this, then it went away. :(

Don't recall the older PES games having it. Dynamic conditions should be a low priority really with so many other things for Konami to fix and improve. On and off rain would be nice but other than that I really don't notice a lot of time of day change over 2 hours.

Why always such a noobs and amateurs should to play on Gamescom and make videos..it's painful for watching.

I guess it would be useful for the winter 3pm kick-offs in the UK where games start in daylight and finish in the dark.

Yeah, it's a luxury but something that the next-gen consoles should be able to handle in their sleep.

You have to realize it's a new game and they're playing very short non-customized games with the pressure of a long line of starved football fans waiting to have a go. Not the best environment to play beautiful football.

I don't see why the CG consoles can't do it - Oblivion was released on those machines, wasn't it? Skyrim? Both games had fully dynamic lighting and weather and they were simulating a wide open world, not a relatively small field.

That's the reason it's unnecessary in sports games. Who plays longer than 10 minute halfs? And most gamers probably play less than that. In Skyrim, one runs about the map for hours in real time without ever exiting the game, so there's a purpose to dynamic weather/lighting. In a football game, playing for 10 minutes with an accelerated clock is still just 10 minutes in real time. Makes it practically pointless as a feature.
