It's a bit like playing online COD with unlimited ammo and 4X the armour of the next guy, plus twice the speed.

Now why would anyone let a matchup like this happen and give an unfair advantage? I don't think it's elitist when impossible passes are pulled off with little to no skill against real opponents, it kills the joy of the game.

40 meter bullet passes, off balance, behind the back, with Carrick, laser guided, perfect 9 times out of 10 for an on-running striker, the defender stiff because of pass support. You call that football?
 
It looks the right pace on my phone, but so slow and *tanky* on my desktop. Not only that, even at 720p it seems so stuttery and blurry, like the frame rates are under 30.

Edit: Oh, its a full screen thing. I wonder why, anyone care to expain? I just tried playing it again without full screen.

Edit1: Oh its just ign, youtube frame rates seem fine, or is it my computer?

The movement seems kind of sluggish sometimes. Like there's not enough "alertness" in the animations. Kind of like they have motion captured people just chilling out and messing about not being into it fully.

Otherwise it looks pretty good.

Very low framerates on cutscenes. No big deal for PC users, but kind of annoying to have that bad framerate on cutscenes and replays for console users.
 
Shouldn't both team's player claiming for throw ins only in case
of borderline situations.

See Neuer clearence. Childish.

It's so last gen (the one before the last actually)

Love it..

The pace just looks better than any slow mode of FIFA 13 on my notebook..

And i like the "sluggishness" from what i see.. Animations much more natural than FIFA 13 + PES 13 combined.. yes i am so much hyped for this :SMUG:

The defensive AI is actually very good now. Only problem is the 1 on 1 close dribbling situations; The defender needs to be more aware of where the ball is and tackle accordingly. No one used the double tap x button, so we don't know if its effective compared to PES 2013, which is a pity.
 
Looks good(i would like players to have a bit more awarness of the ball being close to them) although it would look even better if it was captured in a higher framerate.Damn it's 2013 and this gaming websites(and even youtube) don't support 60 fps videos :RANT:.

Looks good overall. Some legitimate concerns however:

Animations look great, apart from Free Kicks, Keeper animations are very good but they get up too slow, the goal was silly, Neuer got up too slowly after the good save and was confused, dived in the wrong direction. They need to be more responsive.

Passing animations look very, very good, very dynamic also, they are always passing in different ways which will allow some great buildup play.

Pirlo certainly has Player ID, Maybe Balotelli also, his shot seemed very Balotelli like.

Both teams had 'Possession Game', so their defensive lines where high and rather disorganised. This is what happens to anyone with the FIFA mentality of just changing a few players and playing straight off the bat, ALWAYS setup your team before you play.

It's only me or the gameplay feel to linear and boring (FIFA stile) ?
The speed i think is.. ok. This is one of the top teams and maybe its normal in some cases to be bit faster . But i'm still annoyed by players dribbling.
 
Having just watched the recent IGN video, the game looks nothing short of stunning, Hummels foul showed of the new physics engine rather well and looked sublime. I always eagerly wait the latest PES but this year, it's a special kind of excitement.

Does anyone know if the La Liga license includes the 20 Stadia again like last year?
 
Last year complaints, damn the animations are so rigid in PES 2013 and so smooth in Fifa 13.
This year complaints, meh the game looks like slower Fifa with smaller ball.

In my honest opinion i think the game looks great taking into account current-gen limitations and if they improve player awarness we might have the best football game this generation.
Also it looks nothig like Fifa (PES 2014 actually has momentum/inertia,the ball is free with better physics and i can bet money the passing feels way better than Fifa).

You people? There's only one weirdo that says it looks like FIFA with a small ball.
 
GK still chasing loose ball like a madman. Or maybe the command was executed by the player. Everything else look sweet.

Though the player animation sometime clip during cutscene, but those can't be helped. It happen on every 3D rendered model.

I guess that we will have that info on gamescom,i hope so!
Also Eredivisie and Ligue 1 are fully licenced competitions,it would be nice for new DLC addon with full stadiums :) Cause this two leagues,are long time ago in pes,they deserved! :))
 
No matter how good the game is now and in the future there is always gonna be someone that won't like the game, they will always find something. It will never end of that person never satisfied.
In the end it's a game not real life, to me playing real life in a game I would find it very boring.

I don't ever remember if I ever talked anything about pes 2013. it ain't even worth it imo. if I said it(14) looked like fifa now, it's because I think it's indeed such, not for the sake of speaking bad about the game.

I'd love to pes to be great as in the ps1 era but to me it seems like they totally lost that pes identity.

edit: great. now I'm a weirdo, because I told my honest opinion. I quit this thread. thanks and good luck with your pes fanboyism.
