Looking forward to the annual obligatory tour of the uninspiring and outdated PES development studio full of depressing green cubicles:))

Got an awful feeling this is what we're going to get at E3...

For what it's worth, I'm playing exhibition games with random mid tiered teams and having a blast. 1.04 patch on Xbox 360 with 1 bar passing on Superstar. Gameplay is much better and keepers are very good (animations aside).

PES 13 of course haha

Been doing the same. I played Deportivo-Real Sociedad, had a great time with that. Specially because that is a huge game actually coming up this weekend with CL and relegation implications. But yes, it's very rewarding when you play with mid tiered teams.

New PES14 details about the engine, an interview with Producer Kei Masuda and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage at PES Productions in only 9 more days! Join our event to watch the Konami Pre-E3 Show on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 10:00am PST and don't miss a single update!

I would like to watch him go nuts over the PES-2014-Pre-E3-show: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, KONAMI?! You have a new engine and ALL you show is some developer TALKING about some fucking details of the new game. ARE YOU NUTS?!! IS THAT WHAT IIIIIIII STAYED AWAKE ALL NIGHT FOR????!!!"

"I mean comeonnnnnn, if you don't have anything to show then just DON'T FUCKING DO IT and stop wasting MY TIME. But if you do it, BRING OUT THE FUCKING BIG GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Yes these are 14 exclamation marks)

And you know what? He would be right, it will be so lame, seeing some behind the scenes footage with some developer-monitor showing some textureless-players. I'll stop right there, it's nearly as lame thinking about it.

I just hope that the E3 something worthwhile will be shown, not for me, I really don't care for all the PR-stuff before the demo is released, but I hope it for all of you (and your sanity) that wait eagerly for something worthwhile to see, although I doubt that we will get to see real gameplay-matches before gamescom.

Gamescom. August?

I think it's too early to expect gameplay at E3. I'm ok with videos from their "sandbox" showing blue and red men running around displaying some movements and ball physics. I'm curious about this new animation system.

Not expecting any gameplay either but at least some tech demos are more than reasonable.

Not a lot to take away from that, job done though, looking forward to E3.

Damn, can't watch this for another couple of hours as I'm at work. Anything to get excited about?

3D crowds and what seems to be a better overall atmosphere.

Yes, although it it's really a teaser, in the full meaning of the word. It's in black & white (and red) and all sequences are very short close ups. Classical soundtrack this time around.

You get hints of (awesome) facial expressions and textures, plus several fluid animations. The feeling I got immediately was that I was watching an old PES intro (with the same kind of shots even, one of them is a player jumping to a header on the back of an opponent), but the assets did look in-game (rough edges, tiny "slides" on animation transitions). The most impressive part was the crowd, jumping up and down with tons of particles around it.

Fox Engine brand is shown on the ball and three E's: Everthing is Engineered with Emotion.

Is that crowd really in game? Looks too good to be true...

I assume that is possible for cut-scene purposes.. seeing what fox engine can achieve from graphical standpoint.

Anyway i hope they take several concept, mechanics from PES 2013 such as deft touch, tackling to a next level.

Nice teaser..

I need to see GK.. it does not work as advertised in PES 2013 AT ALL :SHAKE:
