I play PES2013 on a low-end laptop, and still have a hard time believing it will have such an incredible upgrade like some people are suggesting here.

You should be able to play it just fine on that.

I mean cmon, it's getting released for the Xbox360...

True enough. ;)

THANKS!!!

this gives me peace of mind, right now I can not buy a new PC, I'm paying my new home ..and also other things

Sorry mate, I was referring to my system - I don't know enough about your system, or laptop specs in general to predict how well it'll run PES 14.

just wait :))

anyway, play "demo" (in future) and draw conclusions.
If need to change PC, I will

I know this is just a insignificant detail, but I would really like to see that formations screen at the beginning of the match represent actual team’s formation – like is this mock-up I made. But there is only half of the pitch there, so formation is little off.

If someone could slightly tweak this by moving Robben and Ribery inline with Muller and then tweet this to Adam that would be much appreciated.

Its a minor issue but that lineup screen bothers me with how wrong it is

It seems like its gonna be very difficult to score in pes. I was just watching kicktv; they didn't seem to like the slow pace of the game; and said that eight games being played simultaneously had the score of 0 - 0. There was a twitter comment that said the same thing; they had to let the other person to score. Looks like the average playing time would probably double to 20mins instead of the usual 10 minutes. One thing liked about pes, was how difficult it is to get a chance on goal and how satsifying it was just to score a goal; it looks like they are taking a serious stance in simulation football, and hopefully they will stick with it.

And mine?

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz, 2394 MHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970M 2048MB GDDR5 | TDP: 100W
RAM: 8GB (2x4096) SO-DIMM DDR3 RAM 1600MHz CORSAIR Vengeance
OS: Windows 7 64bit Professional

I don't know which mainboard it has. Everest tells me the mainboard is "unknown". It would be great if you guys could tell me if this system is good enough for PES 2014 in your opinion and if not what I should change. Of course I would like to play it with the best possible graphics and without lags. Btw it is a notebook.

Again not a master of anything lol but you should be fine

Players will soon figure out how to score,

True; i guess its all about adjusting to the new style of play. Its a new engine after all. Kinda reminds me of the first paragraph of the playstationer.net preview.

This is a good news as far as I'm concerned. We're humans and we're gonna eventually learn and adapt ourselves to the game but the longer the process, the better

he said fifa blows pes out of the water because it added more licenses and teams. i wouldnt put much stock on his opinion

True. I remember that happening on PS2 versions for me whenever I started ML the first time. I'd have tons of 0-0s and 0-1s. Then it all clicks.

Hopefully it's the case here.

As long as that difficulty of scoring is due to the game being different and us having to re-learn to play it that is.I wouldn't want the reason to be some sort of horrible AI cheating, I doubt it'd be the case anyway.
We always adapt, we're humans :p

This is coming from that imbecile twitter:

I praise @EASportsFIFA for going ALL OUT. Konami didn't even show us a next-gen vision.
He's on EA payroll and didn't even know what he was talking about. Obviously his opinions are irrelevant.

But yeah, this is exactly the type of feedbacks that Konami and PES Productions needs to ignore.

Yeah, i know he is a FIFA fan-boy. I just found his comments interesting, that's all. It's funny how he described the combination play as complicated where all you have to do is tap LT twice when the icon pops up. He did praise the animations and the pre-match scene, and didn't really have any 'real' negatives about the game; he was just clutching at straws.

Speaking of the combination play; it seems that you can trigger preset tactical plays at different positions of the pitch; which we probably can make up. Looking at the control scheme; there are three highlighted parts (2,6,8) which probably represents the preset tactics that can be triggered at specific parts of the field. The only problem i see with this is that we can't really change between two tactical plays within the specific area of the pitch; we can only turn it on and off.

EDIT:

We can also change the defensive line on the fly now, i remember writing about this before, i'm glad they actually added it.
I'm hoping they didn't remove the four preset strategy and replaced it with the new feature; there is a difference between strategy and tactics, so it would be pretty stupid to do so.

When some people don't like the game it is actually good news for some of us. If someone that loves FIFA 13 would love the new PES I would be worried and see that as bad news.

One question guys.

Manual passing will mean no stat-influence?

In case yes, it's bad.

It would mean, that if you master manual passing, you will be able to perform like xavi with the worst default ML players!?

I would expect some kind of stat influence in the strength and aiming.

Can somebody clarify it.

I cannot ask over at WENB. I'm banned, you know :)

Thanks.

Winning eleven 9, release date...

Remember how everyone was complaining here on evo web about how many 0-0 we had while playing? I was here, i remember that day.

Rememeber how that game was after considered the best Pes ever after few weeks of playtime?

I can only hope that is the case. I really want the ultimate We9 balanced games in Pes 2014.

Masuda, Pes Team, don't you dare to change the pace of the game or passing and scoring difficulty just to accomodate the casual gamers. The real gamers will thank you later if you will not fall to the casual gamers audience.

Some people argue it won't favour competitive gaming or 10 minutes per-match online mode. That's why i always insist it's better to build the game around offline mode. That should be their priority.
