I (regrettably) bought FIFA14 for the PC. Now I appreciate it is the 'last-gen' engine on the PC but the game is so distinctly average that after about a dozen games I stopped playing. It's not football, just a video game, and one that I'm so apathetic about that I can't really be bothered to criticise it more than that. Thankfully it was cheap.

PES, for all its faults, does at least inspire some passion in me. Just a shame it's mainly rage this year.

I can easily imagine that a lot of PES frustration is due to this very reason, but the fact remains that there are several very weird design choices that also affect the game negatively. For example, how the heart feature render occasionally more than half your starting eleven basically useless in such a way the the human input on the player is nearly futile.

I'm in general quite positive to PES 2014, partly because I know not to expect much and partly because it's not half as bad as some people express loudly on this board.
 
I have high hopes about PES2015 and already know a huge bonus:
PES2015 cost: €40
PROPER FIFA 15 cost: €510
Αt least until 2019 PES will be the sole king... :D
