Just to fresh things up this is Messi in Fifa 14 next gen. Photorealistic enough?

but still, if it looks like this out of the box, its very impressive.
some of us only have our console, so editing those faces to perfection like on the pc isn't really possible.
but for me the most important aspect is how will the players move and will they feel like themselves.
will Messi not only look, but also feel like himself and that's something FIFA has never been able to do.

just watched fifa 14 gameplay footage at e3. the attention to detail, the immersion but most importantly the physics is just ground breaking.

all i can say is that pes got no chance in next gen. in a couple of years konami will scrap their pes series to save themselves the embarrassment.

come on, every one here should know by now that watching the game and playing it are two different things.
so if you said it looked good and you were blown away by the animation and graphics that would be understandable, but to say you are converted just by watching the game on screen, thats just your eyes fooling your brain my good man.

To be fair; one thing i hated about fifa was the slidy feeling i get with players; now that they finaly added in proper foot planting, momentum, and inertia; probably the only major improvement to fifa 13; it would be so much better and playable now.

The thing with next gen is; it will be at the point where graphics, animations and physics will start to stagnate; Pes and Fifa needs to try and innovate the gameplay mechanics or maybe overhaul the archaic system we used since the playstation 2 days, in order to get ahead. Right now, looking at the features; only pes is actually innovating.

I dunno about you but i think the game looks far better with all the PS2 blocky graphics or on PC patches, just looks 'wrong' in HD.

I think this proves that with good graphics, realistic movement must follow or else it just doesn't work.

I might have misunderstood you (did you said that video looks wrong?) but I thought that video looked incredible. The graphics are up to PES/FIFA current gen (I even thought turfs looked better) and the gameplay looks great.

Why KONAMI doesn't release this to the world is beyond me. This could easily had been PES 2013 and everybody would have been happy. I would buy that with no second thoughts.
