If done correctly, Pro Clubs can become a very competitive mode and a very satisfying one as well. I have more than 2500 matches in FIFA's Pro Clubs and now I'm completely and utterly bored of it. EA did nothing to improve on the mode, the money from UT is obviously on top of their list, where Pro Clubs, despite the 15 000 clubs in the game, is left to rot.

+1

League mode would take a few mins for them to put in and its like adam said on twitter its time to start demanding more from video games. ILL give u league mode for a pro clubs mode:))

It's time for Konami to stop being silly and removing good, basic features.

Maybe a stupid question, but what was the difference between League Mode and Master League anyway?

Obviously it was done on purpose. I believe it was done to give people no option but to play the new master league, with it's magic boots and accompanying manufacturer's endorsements.

The new engine would scarily give them more options than magic boots.. Magic socks, shirts and shorts coming up :P

Master league is a deeper mode, where you have to deal with buying and selling players, contract negotiations, getting promotion and qualifying for the Champions League, etc.

League mode is much simpler. You pick your team and play your fixtures without anything else to worry about.

I used to love master league but I don't have time for it any more. Also I don't like the way the leagues are structured in ML. League mode suits me better these days as I can play through a competitive season without all the off-field elements of ML taking up my time.

Playing endless friendlies with nothing at stake is rather boring, which is exactly how PES2013 has turned out for me.

My expectations or wishlist (although the features are probably already set in stone) for PES 2014 are:

1. Realtime two-tiered stamina/fatigue-system
2. Fixed playerswitching
3. Flowing, more varied animation
4. More freedom, no on-rail-limited movements, especially off the ball
5. Nice looking nightgames
6. Much better, more complex, more varied and human-like AI to spice up singleplayer and to considerably reduce cheating
7. Third kits
8. Flags waving crowds
9. More dynamic between slow, walking-speed and full pelt on running speed and realistic reduction of ball-control at highest speeds
10. Free ball, no more of the ball attached to feet/animation-strings
11. Realistic passing with more humanlike error and vision/pressure-depending successrates..
12. League-mode back in
13. A fully developed cup-mode, with fully developed cups for world-cup, european cup, africa cup... With fully developed, I mean the whole qualification-phase, group- and knockout-phases for all of the cups
14. Dynamic lighting/weather-system, easily changing between sun and rain, between day and night within one and the same match, and weather having real influence on the match and with kits getting dirty and stuff

And good online, btw those first two are absolute must ! I wonder about that stamina systme, I do worry they did no changes again this year

I can see 2 and 12 happening. The rest, not so much.

my personal opinion.

Three very important points

perfectly animations (no robotic movements)
Ball physics
Change Player (R1)playerswitching

basically under these conditions, it may work perfectly, no matter if graphics are not the best, if there are things you do not like, but are basically three major conditions
general graphics, sounds, licenses, everything has a solution

add online and modes to that

Realtime, dynamic weather/lightning system would be sweet to have.

Fixing stamina I can see this happening. It wasn't such a big issue with PES5 and prior was it?

Animations - no need to worry, I hear they are already superior to FIFAs in terms of how real they look and feel (needs to be confirmed with video of gameplay though as I don't trust written promises at all).

Ball physics - is unknown as of now, but PES Team said that Ball will be "own" entity. Having separate physics and whatnot. Separated from player and string unattached. If it's true, welcome to Football Kingdom like ball (one of the best things I have seen in footy game, also they had fabulous net physics in FK).

New engine means player switching will be resloved. I believe old engine was too archaic to predict who you wanted to swtich to. This should be resolved.

Online is important of course, but first fix the issues with Single Player modes. As those are what people want to play most when football season starts.

What bothers me most is how will the modders adapt to engine change? As we know old tools won't work. They will have to create new ones from scratch.

KONAMI and PES Team said something about giving users Editior. This sounds fishy as hell if you ask me. It means KONAMI is closing the code for users (as FOX Engine is still unexplored territory it's understandable).

Time will tell. Those are my thoughts. I will not buy FIFA this year (bought it last year and my Origin account was hacked, EA did nothing to resolve the problem = no money for you cunts this year and I won't buy any game from you if it requires Origin). Hoping KONAMI will deliver big time this year.

I know my expectations right now are ROCKET high, but I was pleasently surprised with Castelvania news and MGR news. So why not have HIGH HOPES for once?! (I know Pro Evo fans were disappointed since PES 2008 - so was I, but Kei showed with PES 2013 that he knows what PES was missing in previous iterrations of the game. He can be the wind of change since Seabass left the Production).

If my post sounds gibberish, I am sorry. Got drunk, because I protected my diploma yesterday (now it's time to celebrate) ^^.

Two questions come to my mind about editing.

1. Will option file makers be able to make the new Liverpool away kit?

2. If they can't, would that even be a bad thing?

Oh and congratulations, Info0!

I expect the E3 trailer to be very short, something around 1:40 or 2:00 at max. It will be like 2012 trailer, don't get hyped for this. For me at least, E3 has some other stuff that are much more interesting than a PES trailer, specially this year with the new consoles.

In PES 2014 E3 trailer we will only see some close up footage from more cinematic angles, highlighting some great new animations and some colision physiscs (like players running shoulder by shoulder, fighting for possession), and these are all captured from the game, but the game itself won't have that consistancy

Yea, if history dictates, I'm not expecting anything worth paying attention to from Konami at E3 regarding PES 2014.

20 seconds of the game in motion would satisfy me, As long as I have an idea of what kind of leap they've made with this engine.
