180 000 Euro for Bundesliga is expensive for company like Konami?

This thing you say it's the big paradox of this time. If you cant buy license, you're not allowed to put it fake in most case. So if sh doesn't provide a wonderful faculty editor, you are between rock and hard place: no mod, timewasting editing.

Why they not invest for Europen leagues?

They have Premier League (2 license teams), Ligue 1, Eredevise, Liga BBVA, Champions league and europe league, Bit selfish not to show some attention to other regions outside europe.

Personally i prefer having other leagues outside europe, seeing all the 'big european' leagues only can be a bit humdrum.
I actually loved the fact they added Brazilian league/copa libertadores, made ML and BAL more enticing so the more the better, now just hope with these licenses they can actually produce the game we've been waiting almost 7 year's for.

If that figure is correct then it could well be too expensive for Konami. They have to work to a budget which is considerably smaller than EA's. Would a fully licenced Bundesliga sell enough extra copies to make the investment worthwhile?

Anyway, I think football leagues and associations should look at the bigger picture and view video games as good global brand exposure and not a direct source of income. Exclusive licencing deals are also ridiculous.

I cant help to quote you.

exactly.
i really enjoyed playing a couple seasons in BAL for a brazilian side, it was a fresh change.. i just hope we can use all of these new team players in ML.

If some people still want to keep on using the top 6 european sides for every match they play, it wouldn't hurt them in any way.. go build a ML team with Messi, Robben, Eto'o & Ronaldo ¬¬

Infact, I ask myself why "alternative plans" when they have the chance to make game unplayable if modded?
I hope all of this mystery is due to restrictions and a balanced facilitator in editing. I can't see how people could waste their time with demeaning editing limits.

If you leave in england be happy with fifa, you can play english league in to the 5th division.
You don´t know the dreams from other people.

I had all original PES for PC and PS2. Take off 0.1%.

I hope Konami remembers a Champions League for Americas, Africa and Oceânia.
And a good add new teams and players, with the newest editor we don´t need tools.
Bring back the classic FIFA 2002 on PS2 but with the classic editor.

I've never pirated a game at all.

Trouble is Fifa 14 PC doesn't appear to play that differently to Fifa 13 PC. PES 14 on the other hand looks like a breath of fresh air.

Honestly I don't understand why Konami doesn't sue EA for antitrust practices. I can understand there's an exclusive deal with the Bundesliga, but not allowing to even put a fake German league is too much IMO.

It's not EA blocking them, it's the DFB

My point about Copa Libertadores and Chilean league was that as nice as it is having all these exotic licenses, I won't play them if they game sucks.

When PES2011 came out, i did not think for 1 second that i'd play Copa, but because the game play was so refreshing the graphics were quite crisp that i delved into the mode and enjoyed it.

It turns out there are many people who'll play those modes, even if the game sucks like you said. It's great to see them trying to expand their horizons IMHO

It's always great to see people being proud of their ignorance :)

Why honestly who is going to play the Chilean league apart from people from chilie. I would be struggling to name more than one team university catholic and that only due to ranger buying zen rozenthal from them. I would much prefer less leagues if it means the game is actually half decent. High hopes again this year but its been a constant let down for the past 5 years.

Same goes for the Asian CL.

Mmh you misunderstood. I talk about faculty editor to match the dream of everyone. With such a panorama like this, konami should have stopped to release useless games and concentrate in making one game to come upon this problem.
Remember that this kind of game can satisfy each one only with an extrafaculty editor. Unless arab friends $, as for AFC CL and those tons of animations we've seen.;)

It's a nice addition and the best Konami can do right now as far I'm aware. Seems many of the more "popular" licenses/team/leagues have been swallowed up already. At the end of the day a more comprehensive editing mode and a lot more slots for teams etc... would help numb the discomfort a lot of people have with the lack of licensing.

I remember reading a German newspaper article stating that EA pays 4 000 000 Euro each year for exclusive Bundesliga rights. I can't find it at the moment though.

4.000.000 €....:LMAO: I laugh only to not cry..

What did he say mr. Milton while smiling to the advocate: "Vanity, my preferred sin"..

wow 4 million that's a lot of games to sell just to keep it away from Konami.

I think the more leagues the better Konami need to explore other avenues rather than beating ond the DFB and EPL door year after year.

What they mustn't do now though is stick all these leagues in separate game modes. The players need to be avialable on ML and MLO for example

I find that hard to believe to be honest. Even EA would be likely to baulk at that figure.
