any news about the online aspect? its pretty much all i care about. just want it to sort out all these quitter cheaters. either way, when ps4 version comes out it will be sorted since you can easily stream the gameplay to youtube or facebook

Shite, didn't catch that. BAL has had the potential for several years now to be brilliant if they'd put some effort into it and fleshed it out.
 
Yeah he did say both ML and BAL became complex and they simplified them or some sort. Probably just meaning they're getting read of the silly boots boost and all the useless stuff they added and going back to football.

Of course this is too late for PES 2014, so I hope it could be realized for PES 2015:

I wish the training-mode would get massively expanded. The interaction between trainer and team while training is one of the most important aspects of football. The trainer figures out play-systems, tactics and what not and then trains the team on it and figuring out which players would best be suited for these play-systems and try to form a harmonious team. It could be a sort of roleplaying game within the game.

Of course the preparation before a season starts is the most important training-phase, but even within the season, depending on the success or failure of the new methods and systems, adaptions need to be made and trained, and when key-players get injured, replacement-players need to be worked with and when important matches are on the map, special preparations need to be made...

I find it a bit unnecessary when your female secretary is talking to oyu about stuff in your office and there's the camera shot of her from behind, showing off her curvacious arse, lol, dont know if anyone else noticed that camera angle they just happened to add in? :P

A while back i said this, for us PC players we will be better off creating our own Manager Mode engine. Infact i think in general for the future developing a PES Football fusion is the way forward.

If i knew anything about programming i'd do it, create a separate manager mode engine, then create the ability to export and import results from PES. I think Konami should create a manager game so you could play it anywhere then when you want play it in pes.

Seconded. From what I remember of BaL, it was a nice deep mode especially compared to the competition.

Where's the source for dynamic weather? Although I have to say that I did call that a few weeks back. When I say dynamic weather, I mean weather/lighting that changes throughout the match - I'm not sure if you're referring to the weather's effect on the players' kits. ;)

And why don't you want an early demo?

Thinking of skipping it altogether and wait for the retail version with all the juice. Everything new and fresh.

Fusion with what though? Unlike Fifa, there's no Management game to fuse with. I recall an attempt at a Management game years back, but I don't think it was too successful. Only having six leagues didn't help. ;)
 
Everything is sounding great.

However it will all count for nothing is scripting is still extremely bad and if keepers cant catch top stop anything or are very stupid in 1 on 1 like pes 13.

great idea but both games on consoles where just shit. The manager game was glossy and fancy but had so many appalling bugs.

I think PES and the community should try one in open source so we create a library of teams and players and never have to worry about an update, just relink everything each year.

I've just watched the 4th Episode video. Master League Online is getting an overhaul, while Master League itself is being simplified...I'm not sure if I like the sound of that.

From what I remember, ML was too bloody basic as it was - it needed more depth, not less. This is beginning to smell like 'dumb it down so those who just want to whiz through seasons can do so' - which is backed up by 'being able to play at a good tempo'.

I hope I'm wrong. However either way, the announcement of International management, along with the ability to change clubs in ML (hopefully via hiring/firing) is good news.

Yeah, I know all about that - I've opened numerous threads down the years asking EA to bring back Football Fusion. I meant there's no Konami management game to fuse PES with. Typical EA: the best feature they've ever thought of and they can it after a few games.

However if you reckon the community could make an open source one, that would be amazing; Fifa's appeal of having more content than PES (not licences, content) would come to a shuddering halt, on PC at least.

Edit: Interesting - I've just read that thread and it appears that some decent progress was made on it. Did you try it out?
