PES 2014 Discussion Thread

Yeah, I know all about that - I've opened numerous threads down the years asking EA to bring back Football Fusion. I meant there's no Konami management game to fuse PES with. Typical EA: the best feature they've ever thought of and they can it after a few games.

However if you reckon the community could make an open source one, that would be amazing; Fifa's appeal of having more content than PES (not licences, content) would come to a shuddering halt, on PC at least.

Edit: Interesting - I've just read that thread and it appears that some decent progress was made on it. Did you try it out?

No, its dead, been dead for years.

here how he did it:
YouTube - RMEngine Demo #1 - Part 1

The issue here is his program didn't read PES very well. You see him exporting data to Team 1 and 2 in the game Austria and Belgium. Take w!ld's editor. It reads so much data from PES if we could use someone like his work or if someone like him jumped onboard, we would instead just focus on creating a manager game engine then export and import using methods we have already.

The hard part which will take time is the manager engine, the export has and can be done. I just have ideas but no knowledge whatsoever how to program anything.

In theory for PC:

- Create a manager engine, manage your team. when you go to a game. export to a Option file.

- Create a basic .exe of PES, start up PES which goes straight to controller select screen,

- Then team select, the teams will be ready, then the formations/stadium etc.. screen.

- Go to match, play match.

_ Finish then export the result and stats to The manager engine.

Well, let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet.

Firstly am straight, so i wont ever be doing such thing, secondly i was hoping for 11v11 knowing that they will/have to improve offline mode, so online was where i was worried. So the fact the game looks great and all these things r being done, I am very happy for pes. As for Kojima, he is a genius. This is the man who gave me MGS and one of my fav character, if not my fav in game of all time - Snake.:WORSHIP:

Ummm... feel free if that sort of thing floats your boat.

Edit: @Klashman - that would make the game almost perfect off the pitch if it could be done. I haven't got the first idea about programming though. ;)

Our impressions in English

http://winningelevenblog.es/blog/estamo ... n-londres/

Teams in new demo..: Bayern Munich and Santos

Very good impressions in general, although with certain things .. delay still further, though less pronounced.

The goalkeepers make good saves, but still wrong placement and outputs... PES TEAM is working in this.

The shots with R2 (Shooting with effect) fine, but too easy ... is reported to # PESTeam!

Nets are acceptable, but still need to improve.

Good animations to make chip shot, but the goalkeeper does not react well to them.

We have played some games with the CPU and is quite complicated, we could hardly reach goal.

The game does not look anything like PES2013

The delay, much better than the E3 demo (as Adam), but should improve in short spaces

Fixed the problem that had to do "goals Olympic" easily from the demo E3

Assistance in passing is more balanced, more manual now

Special moves (dribbling, etc.) are very good, many different animations in general.

Freedom in action the players .. regularly, because that little delay.

The cursor well (better than # PES2013), but improvement ..

Animations very good in general, Goalkeepers, pass, shoots .. everything!

Sorry for my english!

Delay is reaction of players, I did not know how to translate

raul_ole I'm Portuguese and you spanish.... so you know better than me.... but Don't they say that they have 3 teams in the newest demo(First tweet that they have posted)!! :CONFUSE:

Source about "dynamic Weather" please ?

Which Snake  ?

That still doesn't make it clear - it could easily be talking about the effect of the weather on the pitch (which would still be a good thing), or upon the players' kits.

Could someone tweet them with the specific question:

Will there be dynamic lighting/weather during matches?

I'd do it myself, but I'm not on Twitter.

Still no signs of online co-op? That's unfortunate. I'd love to play league mode with a friend. At least they've announced 11v11, though I hope that one off matches aren't the extent of it.

I hope so! International Challenge would be awesome!

If we can manage International squads, then I'm 100% cast-iron certain that there will be a World Cup of sorts, a Euros of sorts, complete with qualifiers. That'll make it like International Challenge, but better. :D

Oh and Konami? You know that cheer that accompanies every new section of the Episode 4 video? That's how the cheer should sound when a vital goal is scored in the 90th minute, yes?

 :FAIL:

i simply HATE this kind of feedback. this same one literally destroyed pes 2010 and 2011, with people moaning that game is too hard against CPU.

learn to play PES, for God's sake! don't destroy offline play against CPU with these kind of BS.

i hope konami doesn't take this serious again!

Let's tweet Adam and let him know that this is positive feedback..

So have Konami actually said that Master Legue is being simplified? Is that even possible? ML right now is bare bones as it is, there's nothing to do bar skip from match to match. Heck, you can't even negotiate your own transfers properly.

I don't get how they claim this is 'complicated' but then announce moving clubs and managing national teams. It's good news that but I'd rather just be able to manage my team properly and negotiate transfers....
