From that pic I can't see it plus no online either, but that doesn't mean online isn't in obviously. They're probably all under competition then?

I don't think it's in the competition section. Apparently, only Cup mode is in there. There's no win a league achievement either...only one in BAL.

Its funny that you say that, I find it a LOT easier to keep possession and dribble around in PES than FIFA. Thats my main issue with PES this year, again. CPU always let's you keep the ball, then it charges forward when it gets the ball instead of knocking it around.

You can't even play a round robin with 2 of your mates? That's been the fundamental PES experience for me since ISS. This is sad.

Can someone explain if every player in ML will have black boots, or only the players in your team, or only 1 player or what, I don't get it.

This removal of the League mode is bigger and nastier than Bootgate IMO. I thought Konami had made a big fuss this year about getting the license for La Liga? And now nobody will be able to play the league itself in League mode? What was the point, then?

I don't believe that they took out league-play. It's probably hidden somewhere under another name. It wouldn't make sense to buy licences for leagues without a mode to play them.

If this is true I'm fked. I wasn't going to play ML for obvious reasons anyway, it was going to be League all the way.

Maybe, just maybe, it's under "Cup".

I agree. Sometimes menu designers do rearrange things just for the sake of rearranging them, and the new placements can be missed easily.

And yes, buying a La Liga license would be nonsensical without a League mode to play it in.

the achievement talks about winning with a team under CUP

Awarded for single-handedly guiding a team to Cup glory in [Cup].

If league-mode is really not in there somewhere, I can only imagine two reasons:

1. Konami somehow forgot to include the mode before giving the game out to produce the master. This would showcase an unbelievable incompetence never seen before. Cause intentionally leaving out league-mode would make no sense since they buy league-licenses for a lot of cash.

2. Konami wants to sell the league-mode later on as DLC. This would showcase greediness.

Then Konami should speak up! They need to tell the people before release. Everything else is false and unfair to the customer! But what's fair, he?! ;)

I want my community mode! This mode is so PES'ish and vital, same goes for ML!

Man, this sounds really bad, league-mode I play the most, that one, the cups-mode and ML are the core-single-player-modes. How can they do that?

I think it must be a major incompetent mistake that led them to forget to include it. It's best if Konami delays the release and reprints all retail-discs with the league-mode in it.

Or they want to sell it as DLC... but this would be a major mistake. I'm not paying for a game where the one mode is missing I'm playing the most, only to pay additionally for a DLC to get it: No f... way!:RANT:

P.S.: What the hell is up with this Com-vs-Com-watch-mode? Who in his right mind would switch on PES to watch the Com play against Com?!

Haha, doesn't this just sum up Konami? It's a week before the game is out, the general feeling is that it's the most anticipated PES for years and we don't even know if our two best options for single-player mode are fked or not?

Guys you know what I think? Konami just remove these modes because they wanna nail and do best gameplay ever this year. They wanted to PES BACK. But KONAMI had only one way to do that...remove some modes because engine is SO LIMITED - this is the reason I think. They removed these modes and then they created much better gameplay which is probably the BEST ONE OF ALL PES TIME. Peace

I don't believe that Leagues are not playable anymore - I can imagine that community mode might be taken out.
But I agree with Lami. Let's be patient and see what's in final release.

Removing an entire mode is a joke. They just had to keep it as it was, there was no need to remove that
