Wednesday can't come soon enough. I hope to get the PS3 demo now and get good 10 minute games in and I hope to hell there aren't any obligatory videos to watch.
I am all for PC demos they look sexy and the patchers do great work with the teams unlocker and so forth. I don't however like when they fiddle with the gameplay. Leave that to the experts is what I say.
The same experts that made this:
And that still cannot get animations right and get rid of rails?
But it's still their game you're playing isn't it?
If I re-edited the Godfather and changed the order of a few scenes and it worked better, would you say I deserved more credit than the many brilliant actors or the hundreds of cast and crew or Mario Puzo or Francis Ford Coppola?
Im playing their game since as a PC gamer I was forced to play it.
*licks lips with anticipation of 2nd demo*
not long to go gents, I reckon the PC demo will hit next week, I'd be amazed if Konami had much of a gap between the ps3/xbox demo and the PC version of it.
Readng everyday all the post in here, im a bit frustrating with a big part of the community. Again and again and again trying to find the fails littler or bigger, no matter. It seemes you will not ejoy the game anymore, its sad.
So please, if you don`t like stop it and if you do try to enjoy it because this year I think It´s a promising version.
Thank you, mates and peace (from a very old user).

nothing wrong with critising whats wrong with the game, aka, looking at what needs improved. i think its pretty clear that pes 13 demo has got a lot of posivity around it
i loved Demo 1, there's a LOT to learn from controls.. haven't felt like this in a while about a new PES.
pes 2012 & 2011 id din't even bothered to play any league.. i'm now eager to play even the brasilerao! let's see what improvements come in ML, MLO, BAL, Trainings.. i'd love to see some Scenarios

HENRY HAND
with possession of the ball is a game.
without it, is another game
the use of "supercancel" is a rubbish
"full control", konami please stop lying.
I like the game, (possession of ball)
without it I do not like
Anyone know what time the demo will likely be on the marketplace tomorrow?
i'd rather discuss how we can make it better, which means talking about the games weak points
Control of the players and awareness/reactiveness is what's sorely missing (besides my usual ranting-subjects like realtime stamina/fatigue-system, more varied and better CPU-AI and less cheating..):
In the first trailer for PES 2013 Konami was marketing "Total Control" as a feature. But it is not there in demo1. Often I have players that even though the cursor is not on them and even though I have switched off all automatisms, that they tackle on their own, usually causing a foul. Why? I don't get it.
Then issues come up when trying to select the right player at the right time. Good luck, half the time it doesn't work at all, the cursor going anywhere but where you want to. And one could assume that the right stick would help in selecting the right player... It doesn't!
Then issues come up when passing (zero-pass and L2-manual) and the game chooses as a recipient a player that is miles away from the ball and forces him to come back for the ball, while the player you aimed for with the pass and that is near to the ball doesn't react.
Then issues come up when making surprising attack-moves. The game expects a certain way to attack and when I leave that preprogrammed attack-pattern and try something else, surprising, the players don't react and don't adapt well, if at all.
Then issues come up when the rails and automatisms show their face and you can't intervene except for using supercancel, like for example when players are going for a throughball and you can't adjust the angle nor speed of their run or when you see players getting slower when the ball is going into side-out even though you would like them to run full speed to try get to it before the ball is over the line...
Control in our hands is hugely missing.
if your on about xbox, likely 4am-6am roughly
that'll be a fox engine feature no doubt, dynamic weather too I reckon.
I hope Konami have a sense of humour and put a fox animal head in the game.
