Madmax, i think its down to the club coaching stats. If you search for other clubs you can see where their training priorities are at
Cool story, bro.
Must look out for him, get him in amongst my Europa League-style troopers & teens Tottenham side when I start ML afresh. Cheers.
About 14 games in to my first Master League of 2012. Started with Sporting Lisbon.
I'm looking for a bit of reassurance here that players will actually grow. So far 80% of my squad have actually declined in overall ability. Only by the 1 point but still. This does not appear to be an age thing either as this has happened to my young players as well as those in their 20's and 30's. Please tell me that the clowns responsible for FIFA 11's career mode have not found themselves employment with Konami.
Is there anything obvious i am doing wrong here? I have rotatated the squad but not too much. I am second in the league, scoring goals as well as managing to keep my fair share of clean sheets (playing on professional at the minute). Is there a player growth option that i missed during the set-up? Does changing the training too much have a drag effect on players capacity to improve?
From my experience I can assure you that the players grow (unrealistically too), I have played 5 ML seasons and on average young players (18-22) grew by almost 15 points, obviously having a better coach matters a lot.
Thanks for answering my question. You can switch it off completely before the start of a ML, but yeah, I found the same tbh. I just left it on 'Condition', which supposedly had no degradation on any stats but still found them to drop.
Only thing I can think of is hiring a better Coach
Thanks for answering my question.
In ML i have seen some of my default players growing +6 in overall and i haven't finished the first season yet:
Xechinto is now 67 and Maqualao 70. Zarate (youth) grew +10, from 55 to 65 iirc. On the other side, some of my defenders and my gks decreased in overall (Palmieri, Schmidt, Jaric, Fatecha).
The thing is my training regime was Condition for 1-2 days and Technique for the rest of the week, always this way.
My conclusion: Offensive players will grow with technique but defensive players will decrease, because they need good physical and tatical attributes and you'll lost them if focusing on Technique.
ps: I'm scoring a lot of free kicks in my ML, its just too easy. What you guys think?
Who are you using leandropuc86?
I ditched the Swansea idea and built my own team out of Copa Libertadores players around the same standard as the defaults. Allows me to fix up my keeper before starting.
Lukas I'll have to give that a go, I never really bothered to alter training on my last go. Did you hire a better coach?
How about Vitoria Setubal for no other reason than they have a player called Claudio Pitbull. That and I guess they have been starved of success, apart from a few Portuguese Cup titles.
Yep, checking out BAL training regime might be a good idea - CPU mixes all types of training in BAL. Not all of them within single week, but rotation is more or less complete within two or three weeks.
Is it just me, or does the CPU constantly score cheap late goals? Where by your players which you don't have control of just do absolutely ridiculous things.
Another thing, does anyone else feel their players have next to know strength to hold opposition players whilst dribbling or just holding the ball up?
With every pro evo I've always noticed the CPU's 'tricks', but this one seems worse than ever in Master Legaue.
One other thing, has anyone else experienced players being stuck on one form, unfortunately down/purple arrow.
