I would love to download that 32 team patch for the pc but I've got no clue what to do... Bah..
I never tried Top Player. I'm always on Professional and get hammered by Barca. Last one was 4-0 I think. PS3 here.
where did u download teh WE demo?
Xbox live in Japan has Fifa ranked 4.5/5 stars.
But Winning Eleven only has 2.5/5 stars.
I am really suprise not what i would expect from that region.

Same here, im on pc and ps3, getting crunched by Barca every time.
3-0, 4-0. Lots of throughballs for them. I struggle to get a single shot on goal.
It always makes me smile when I read the words 'Robotic' and 'Clunky'. I completey understand why people say these things after playing the silky smooth Fifa, but understanding why it's like this is it's beauty. Like I have said so many times, it's these 'clunky' and 'robotic' movements that provide us with all the relevant angles required to simulate the players limbs, posture and body movement. These varying factors are what then create the percentage based errors, or, posture perfect consequence of passing, shooting, and touch. It may not be as pretty on the eye as the perfectly formed 360' movement of Fifa, but it is highly realistic. And it opens the door to almost infinite variables, especially when combined with individual player statistics that are also open to even more variety due to the condition and form arrows that replicate consistency.
It's all very , very clever stuff, and thats what makes me smile, the fact that alot of people seem to overlook it, and denounce it, in favour of a silky smooth visual that does anything but mirror the nature and technique it's trying to replicate. It's back to the old philosophies, one is aimed to look realistic, the other, to 'feel' realistic. And thats the bottom-line, whether you like it or not.
It just hit me! Why i love the PES dribbling and why i think FIFA needs to learn from PEs's system.
Seeing this genius goal here from Di Maria:
YouTube - Real Sociedad 0 - 1 Real Madrid [matchhighlight.com]
See the way he feints and twists when taking on his man! It's what this PES game excels in. When you move the left stick, you basiclly just controling the players body movement and you don't neccesarily have to move the ball.
If you have got used to dribbling with Iniesta etc.. you will notice this specially when you lightly touch the left stick you can change his posture and swivel and drop the shoulder like Di Maria does in Real life. hence the natural feeling when dribbling!
With FIFA when you move the left stick, it's like the player, the player and ball are glued together as a entity. Also, with it's animations it feels like the player is gliding with a ball stuck to him rather than dribbling!
So despite all this FIFA has a better engine belief. PES has a system here and other systems which is revolutionary and the 'next' step in terms of football games development!
This highly interests me! I wonder if i send this as an idea to EA if they could implement PES's system? They would literally have to rip out the system they have in place and build a new one. I'd say they should stick with what they have and make the best of it until the PS4 arrivesthen start from afresh

Surely thats a good thing right?I think I need to knock the difficulty down to Professional because I always play Top Player and I'm certainly not seeing those numbers. usually it's a 0-0 or a 1-0.

Me either. Someone enlighten us and I mean you really have to post an idiots guide as I don't have a cooking clue how PC gaming works (from a patching perspective) as sad as that may sound
Dudes read the readme file that comes with the patch. copy and paste job![]()

Yeah same here. Tried to access the UK store via the PS3 after opening a UK account online no luck that way. Don't know why Konami won't allow US users easy access to the demo via the PS store. Surely they must know you can't get the demo. EA has a large presence right there on the first page of the demos.
Getting an appreciation of the 2010 version since I can't play the demo. What a great game it is. If 2011 is even a slight improvement over that I will be happy enough.

When you then go from playing with the likes of Lille, Peru, Chivas and Internacional, to the likes of Barcelona, you feel like greatest PES player that has ever lived.![]()
Only just got round to playing the demos on friday as I've been away all week!
They introduced this element in Pes 2009 with the d-pad dribbling. Simply moving the stick allows you to do jinks and drop your shoulder, especially with the R2 button. It's been developed to an even better stage with 2010 and now 2011, especially now you have more degrees of movement. Players like Ribery, Robben and Messi feel awesome when doing this.
I agree about the individuality sucking on FIFA - but how would Ronaldo's animations be in this demo? Surely they only added the animations that would be used by the default demo players?Been playing it on the patched PC version. Ratface is a totally different player to anyone on the game! Everything, his animations, his shooting, his dribbling angles!
Thing is i played the FIFA 11 demo and Ratface just looked an felt like a cartoonHis running animations god awful! Yeah the tricks are all there but when Messi, Diego and Amauri can do the same it loses it's novelty!
